Introduction; I believe that many among us have made a MOC that they like, but think that something is missing and want to change it somehow to make it look better or emphasize in the story-telling. Among them, here I am! This MOC, follows my previous attempt and continues my story from where it was left! The Story; "...In a galaxy far, far away, somewhere in a corner of it, there is an unknown and isolated planet. Despite the initial disturbance from the clatter and thunder that unsettled the inhabitants of the planet on that festive day, the strange visitors became especially beloved by the local population. Our beloved C-3PO, despite speaking over 3 million languages and dialects, had a hard time getting in touch with them at first, but eventually succeeded and thus added another language to his database. The time was passing pleasantly as our 2 robots tried to find a way to repair their pod so they could continue their journey, enjoying their walks in the blossoming nature with the inhabitants of this isolated planet, until once again a bang and a thunder shocked the calm atmosphere that was prevailing..." I am looking forward for your comments! You can find additional pictures of my creation on my FlickR

This Kadillax (pronounced similar to "Cadillac") originally belonged to Black Hole Gang's second in command under the Brick Daddy. This financial / legal wizard is code-named Mister Gray. The Kadillax remains his personal transportation now that Gray is "retired", but this is a ruse to keep the Space Police off his tail. The real work that he does is helping rebel cells fight the Space Police IV forces, either by smuggling oppressed people around in his spacious limo and it's opening trunk, or using the secret panels to covertly transport gold or cash around to rebel hideouts or stops on the underground railroad to freedom in the galaxy's central core. The core is where sensors can not penetrate and big ships cannot enter due to the increased gravity and many asteroid chunks. In reality, this model started as 70906, Joker's Notorious Low-rider. I changed the colors, removed most of the golden parts and exchanged the bouncy wheels for hover pods. The vehicle's obvious weapons such as missile launcher / ray guns were removed when Mister Grays went clean, but the secret is that he kept the EMP generator and code scrambler as a precaution. These would prove to be most helpful in his new role as founder of the resistance network and underground railroad to help oppressed aliens and techno-mages to freedom. Mr. Gray also keeps a classic blaster in reach at all times... just in case. The vehicle can seat one figure at the drivers seat and figure in the passenger's seat . The trunk opens up and the roof is removable. After the death of the Brick Daddy, a criminal power vacuum caused a gang war to erupt between Squidman and the mysterious Mister Gray, who was Brick Daddy's shady accountant and corrupt lawyer. As Mister Gray slowly took over the Black Hole Gang from rival Squidman, he forced the Space Police III (who were at war with Blacktron 3 at the time) to regroup into the totalitarian Space Police IV by way of the Gang joining sides with Blacktron 3 forces. This proved critical to anti-alien leaning leaders of the Space Congress' plan of eradicating both the Blacktron scourge and Black Hole Gang. In the end, the Blacktron retreated to the edges of known space, and the Black Hole Gang was destroyed save two major members: Squidman, who was no longer a Black Hole Gang member when the Gang declared war of the Space Police, and Mister Gray, who sold out the gang's location to save himself. He is sometimes now called Mister "Grave" instead, but never to his face, as he alone was responsible for the saturation bombing of the Gang's hideout. This bombing killed most members and blew up it's ammo dump, thus destroying any evidence of Gray's complicity in any past crimes. After this, he decided his clean slate was not worth the blood on his hands, and thus helped found the resistance network to fight the Space Police IV forces. His immense wealth helps out those in need, and he personally smuggles wanted people around in his limo from time to time. As usual, comments, questions, complaints, and suggestions are always welcome!

Introduction; This MOC is my first attempt, specified in landscape, of this size. The Story; "... In a galaxy far far away, somewhere in one of its corners, there is an unknown and isolated planet. In the center of the area where life has been developed, lies its oldest structure. A stone column with unknown carvings. But this is not the only peculiar thing about it. Every year, it lights up on its own and an abrupt hum is emitted. The next moment, something magical is happening! It's like the whole planet is coming alive - a heady aroma is overflowing everywhere, the flowers bloom, animals wake up and everyone enjoys this magical moment. This day has arrived, and all three tribes of the planet have gathered to celebrate the day of life. Everything rolls pleasantly, until a clank and a thunder shakes the calm atmosphere that prevails ... " 1. Honoring the Monolith MOC by George Patelis, on Flickr 2. Crashing Site 3. Crash Crater 7. Here's a little vignette inspired by THE X-FILES (not based on any particular episode or movie) with agents Fox Mulder & Dana Scully encountering a little gray alien at Area 51. I utilized no custom parts or printing. Mulder uses Agent Coulson's torso from 76077 as a base, while Scully uses Lois Lane's torso from 76046. The alien torso and head are taken from the CMF line, with the legs and hands swapped out for a more traditional look. Both figs have badges, cellphones, guns and flashlights. I also tried out some alternate hairpieces. Which do you prefer? Scully's is from the recent CMF veterinarian. One could wish for this part in more of an orange-red color, but of course Scully's shade has varied over the years. The shape here fits the character very well, I think. To finish things up, a shot of the base and an alternate angle on the completed model:

This classic-styled UFO is just a fun little project I came up with while messing around with the new slopes that came out on the London Bus / VW Beetle. I have had it pointed out to me it looks somewhat similar to the car in some cartoon TV show I don't watch called 'Rick & Morty." I don't know for sure, but looking at pictures online, it seems like I could have been subliminally influenced by those video ads on Facebook I've scrolled past recently. The ship has two engines and an opening cockpit with seating for one figure at the controls. Meet Norma Alley, who goes about everyday the same way, for her whole life. Get up alone, got to work where no-one knows you, then she gets to a bar where her crush doesn't even know you exist, and finally go to bed in your tiny apartment with your cat that couldn't care less if you came home at all... only to start thew whole process over the next day. (Man, that was the most depressing and sad thing I've ever written, and was partially inspired by the Paul McCartney song "Another Day".) LDD file included here for the ship and it's pilot figure. Any thoughts, questions and complaints are welcome, though i don't know if I will build this one in real bricks. It is possible to do so, but as this is just a table-scrap, I probably will not built it.

In this scene a Xenomorph is walking through a hallway just after a kill. I worked on this project for 3 hours and it's small but very detailed and eerie. I tried to design it so when you look at it there's a bit of fear in your, even though it's "just" Lego. I hope you like my dramatic hallway scene from Alien.

This gorgeous tall building was once an architectural highlight of the city. It was also one of the centers of business activity, usually overcrowded by citizens. Everything changed when alien invaders suddenly came from the darkest depths of Earth. Giant drilling machines pierced the earth surface, and myriads of underground creatures flooded into the city, forcing its inhabitants to flee. Elephant Building sustained severe internal damage and now it is on the verge of destruction, although its facade and distinctive columns remain intact. Let us discover the interior of the building while it still stands. Ground floor hosts a media shop with very expressive shop windows. It used to be just a bookshop at first but later the assortment has been broaden with music and video. Ironically, the shop window dedicated to books was first to be destroyed. Above the bookshop we can find a private apartment where there is something going on. It was once owned by a respectable but stubborn family who refused to move when the building was being turned nonresidential. However, at some point the apartment was occupied by a group of dangerous criminals. Some said that this apartment became the very center of criminal activity in the city. Despite evil intentions of these people, let us hope that nobody was inside the bathroom when it was smashed. Coincidentally, there is a bank office right above the suspicious apartment. It is unclear whether it was a target of the criminals or their own organization. Anyway, it was not them who made the big hole in the floor. Also, there is a courtroom in the attic... ...And a shed on the roof. It is a perfectly ordinary shed, but who knows, maybe someone has been writing music inside of it? And here is some of the furniture used in the building. Model characteristics: 32 x 32 corner modular building. Building comprises 3 stories, an attic and a shed on the roof resulting in an overall height of 45 bricks. Model consists of over 8500 parts. Additional links: Photo album on flickr Building instructions are available on Rebrickable.

Location: A08 - Crentium Tags: Piracy, Spying, Civil I came over the rocks to find a small MANTIS beacon that I know is not supposed to be there! Yep, this has gotta go! This tune will summon the Leg-less men. The name is a misnomer, they actually do have legs! Ok, Leg-olas, I want you to punt that beacon as far away as you can! Great kick! Thanks for watching, that's all for now folks!

Humanity discovered the relics of alien civilisations long before it encountered other life-forms themselves. When deep-space survey ships like the LL919 left their local sector they found strange ruins and abandoned artefacts on distant worlds like Mara. The next time they launched, the survey ships carried teams of civilian xenoarchaeologists. It would be decades before they even began to understand the objects they had found; over a century before their researches pointed the way to true contact. The Monolith couldn't be scratched, even with tempered diamond-tipped tools. Although initial survey missions were usually carried out by a solo pilot, the LL919 could carry science teams or civilian researchers. It was pretty cramped in there for long flights. Flickr album

This model was taken from a Rebrickable MOC of the LEGO Worlds spaceship "PUG-Z" that user "TOB1 bricks" recreated here. I took the free instructions' MOC, and changed them (I removed the toilet, as it was causing problems with the roof) and altered the colors from orange, yellow, and bright light orange to a predominantly black and red model with some light / dark grays thrown in for good measure. I also modified other parts of the ship, making the radio antennas a bit shorter and adding trans-green "freeze" blasters to the ship where the forward-facing lights used to go. The rear of the ship has this 2 x 2 round symbol for the ship's owner / affiliation, along with tow small booster rockets alongside the main engine. The top opens up / out and the computer wall folds down to become a bed. (I had to take the toilet out as it wasn't playing nice with the roof in LDD.) Oh, and the landing legs fold backwards for flight. Here we see the owner of the ship (and his laser pulse rifle), who is a methane breathing reptile-like alien named Zath-ann. He wears a rebreather to properly function in oxygen-based environments and doesn't take it off in his ship because he hasn't got it converted to a methane-orientated life support system yet... it's on the to-do list though. Special thanks to Carl Greatix (designer for TT games) & Mark Stafford for the in-game model. Any thoughts on this MOD? Comments, questions, and complaints always welcome!

Experimenting with some HDR photography techniques to try and get the lighting how I wanted... Looks like there have been some mixup on this alien’s first contact mission to Earth: perhaps not a complete bust after all Duplicate of first shot, but with a little bit more detail in the mix to see the actual construction

Location: Arium Minor (F09) Tags: Building, Piracy, Civil -------------- Have you ever tried to walk silently with a peg leg? It's not easy, especially on metal flooring. But, in my business, you take whatever chance offers itself, whether easy or not. The Kawashita fleet had rendezvoused with an alien fleet, ostensibly for diplomatic purposes. Honestly, I didn't know much about why they were really meeting, nor did I care. All that mattered to me was the opportunity it presented. If we were planning on engaging in serious piracy, we needed a bigger crew - and I had a couple of people in mind. All I had to do was break them out of prison. "What've you got there?" "Prisoner transfer from the fleet," the arriving guard said. "Orders said the place is gettin' crowded, so these two'll be sharing a cell." "Hear that, lady?" the insectoid guard said. "An old friend's here to visit." "Well, well. Finally caught you, did they?" This was taking a long time. I needed one of the guards to come a little closer to me. "Step away from the door, witch!" the insectoid said. I heard his footsteps on the floot. Now. I choked up my grip on my staff and, as I stepped out, I swung it as hard as I could. My aim was good. The insectoid fell without a sound - dead or unconscious, I didn't know, nor did it matter. The prisoner dropped forward, out of the line of fire. The green-skinned female was rattled. Her one shot went wild - then I drilled her. She fell with a hiss. Definitely dead. I helped the bug out of his handcuffs, and we quickly moved the bodies out of the way. "Viktor Kramer! Can't say I expected to see you here," he growled. "Why did you come all the way out here? I doubt it was just for fun," the woman in the cell purred. "I've got a little proposition for you," I said. "Open this door, and let's discuss it." "I want you two to join my crew." "Piracy?" the bug said, twitching his mouthparts into what I guessed was a grin. "Privateering. We're working for the Kawashita Group, and I could use a few hands for the Variga." The woman shrugged. "What are we waiting for?" -------------- P.S. Not completely sure about the Piracy tag. Do rescued prisoners count as being "stolen"?

The year 2017 will host some of the best SciFi movies. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, teaser. Ghost In The Shell, official trailer. Finally a teaser is up for the upcoming 'Blade Runner 2049' movie. Alien: Covenant, official trailer. Any thoughts so far? I can only think of one thing; neo-noir cyberpunk dystopian easthetics.

Another starfighter, this time a little more alien-y! Certainly no Vic Viper, but perhaps a cheap baddie that can be easily and endlessly killed by one! The NoVVember challenge was definitely an inspiration for this. The Mandible-Class Starfighter is an alien vessel capable of both atmospheric and interstellar operations. Pilotless, the Mandible is controlled through the alien hivemind but can also behave autonomously if connection is severed. Multiple weapon systems allows the Mandible to engage a both light and heavy targets. Furthermore, the fighter is capable of acting in an anti-capital ship role. Using its claw-like wings, the Mandible attaches to a large vessel and overloads its antimatter engines, creating an enormous explosion. (Thanks for looking, feedback always appreciated!)

An exploration vessel made by the Tuor'arc, on a peaceful mission to explore space and search for other species, hoping they are not alone in the universe. Zea'x Dauphyz by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Zea'x Dauphyz by Cecilie Fritzvold, on Flickr Ok, so this is my SHIPtember SHIP this year. This was actually what I planned to build for SHIPtember last year, but ended up not having time to do. For a SHIP it's fairly small, as it's rather thin, but it has the required length. This year I actually had even bigger plans, but again, time ran away from me and I had to scrap my original plan and go back to this idea. I ended up pretty much speed building this over just 2 weekends, so I never took the time to post any WIPs (sorry!). As for my original planned SHIP, I intend to build it anyway, just over a longer period of time.

A project of three years or so (not continuous), this ship has gone from average size to just under three feet. The UFO series was one of my favorites growing up, so after going through my old legos and putting the sets back together, I started building this monstrosity. It breaks apart into 23 different pieces, many of which are designed to function indepedently, and all parts are modular. The Ship has electronics integrated in the middle, with a 9 volt motor, a 9 volt battery box, the old fiber optic assembly, and the double flashing light brick. It has a crew of 13, 1 of each classic alien, 3 of each robot, and 4 custom figures. There's also a pile of weapons, all stored on the ship in various places. r. If anyone is interested, I will post more pictures, as there are a lot of details packed into each part of this model, and I didn't want to flood the topic in pictures
