  1. Hi there, during the past months, I created a new LEGO stop motion music video for my Wild West layout "Brickson Valley". Here is the result :) And if you don't mind, tell me what do you think and which story you like the most. :)
  2. This heavily modified copy of set 31064 (Island Adventures) is now based on a fictional aircraft from the 1930's-set animated Disney TV show 'TailSpin'. Technically it's a Conwing L-16 amphibious seaplane, but it's better known as the Sea Duck, and is piloted by Baloo. This anthropomorphic bear is originally from the 1967 Jungle Book film, and he is not alone in making that transition from the film to small screen, but you'll have to read the show's wiki page for more info as I don't have the space for a full synopsis! Sadly, the plane's pilot, Baloo, isn't possible to make as LEGO doesn't make a bear head in Black. Hopefully someday I will be able to get him built in real life! The rear of the plane. I extended the cargo bay a bit from the original set, and modified the horizontal tail to be stronger and less floppy using technic rods instead of pins. The cockpit roof opens to place a pilot at the controls. The cargo door opens as well. ... and that's all I got. Thoughts? MODS: I wasn't sure where to post this. Move it how you see fit, if you need to.
  3. Hello! In this topic I want share with you my experience on creating LEGO animation in Blender. Here is a LEGO movie I've created: Blender is a professional, free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models, interactive 3D applications and video games. Software that I used to make this animation: LEGO Digital Designer Blender Sony Vegas STEP 1 First of all, I built all needed models in LEGO Digital Designer. STEP 2 I opened all models in Blender and created an animation. Then I rendered all scenes. STEP 3 All video files were ready, and the only thing I needed to do was to edit them in Sony Vegas. That was my first LEGO movie made in Blender. It took near 2 months to create it. Do you like it?
  4. Animation for the promotion of "THE CENTRAL PERK" lego ideas project on opening "I'll be there for you" :-) What do you think? Link removed by WhiteFang Thank you.
  5. Hi all, I'm working on a 3-episode Lego animation series. The series involves most of the characters that can be seen in my other (train related) videos. But now for the first time, they are featured in an animation series. Enjoy and let me know what you think of the first episode! The second episode will be uploaded in a few weeks :)
  6. Here's my latest video: Feel free to criticize it and let me know what you think!
  7. Hello there, I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but I am a brickfilmer, and few friends and I would like to create a Lego animation which features dialogue and also facial animation. In the past this has typically been done in post, but I would like to give it a try actually manipulating the faces. I came across some really terrific decal templates by Capt. Kirk a number of years ago, but they do not contain all of the basic mouth positions essential to animation: http://0.tqn.com/d/animation/1/S/7/2/mouthpositions.jpg Just wondering whether there are any graphic designers out there who might like to help me out? And if you'd like to see the sort of animation my friends and I have done in the past, here is an example: Cheers, Jayko
  8. Greetings, My name is Jayko, though in the past and in other forums I've been known as Jayko8646. My favorite theme is Castle, and I'm primarily a Brickfilmer. The last film which I made with my friend was a commissioned piece in which a live concert band performed a "sinfonia" beneath a screen with this playing on it: But we'll be starting work on another, more narrative film this month. Looking forward to being a part of the forum! -Jayko
  9. Less than a month away in a galaxy near us all comes the next installment to the star wars saga! This is my own trailer for The Force Awakens. Star Wars The Force Awakens Lego Trailer by AJV777, on Flickr Thanks to Lord Blako for letting me use his awesome Kylo Ren Saber sound fx https://www.youtube....BlakoSaberFonts and to SGTBizarro for Music from the official trailer without sound fx https://www.youtube....user/SGTBizarro Hope you all like and stay tuned for more! :D
  10. I'm back with my first public LEGO stop-motion animation! This is a music video I made of the song God of Possibilities by Brian Free & Assurance. I've had experience with a few Brickfilms (some of them have remained a work-in-progress since years ago), and I have another one I've been working on recently that's coming soonish! I also apologize for the prolific 4:3 format; next time I will aim for 16:9 widescreen. Animated using iMovie: 6 FPS (Frames Per Second) Music: God of Possibilities, from album Unashamed, by Brian Free & Assurance. 13. Brick Shenanigans - Star Wars Hello everyone over at Eurobricks! For the past few weeks, I've been working on a solo man stopmotion animation project based upon Star Wars. What inspired me to do this genre (comedy) was the Robot Chicken series of Star Wars episodes which made me want to see if it could be done in Lego form. I hope you like this episode, I plan to do more but in different themes in the future (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones etc). Thanks for taking time to watch the video, if you like what you see, feel free to subscribe. We have more exciting projects to come! Feel free to give your opinions below. P.s. Greenscreen was planned for this video, although a few mistakes prevented this from happening. *NOTE - Can't seem to get the video to display in the post, but rather only in link form.
  14. Hello guys! I've got a new stopmotion for you! Tough superheroes survival racing championship! Check it out! :) In case you like it don't forget to thumb up!
