Hi guys. I am making 1x2 48x48 diorama that will present an alien, robot city. A street with two houses. I would like to make it all movable, with a lot of tehnics gear and axle moving. In one of the houses I am going to put motor. Now, the gear will move just for purpose of moving, it will have no meaningful function (expt to move and to attract attention. I have few hundred of them, with ton of axel and all types of pins, lot of liftarms, tehnics bricks - etc, all that is needed. Now, the question: if there is no other task (lifting or similar), and the only task is moving per se, what motor will be enough? Should I split gear into two sections (pushed by two motors?) What motor should I buy? I will buy it via bricklink or in a 2015 tehnics set (please recommend one) Can you provide links with clever moving contraptions with gear, where gear is visible? Please note that I am a total beginner when tehnics is in question, but I am very experienced builder, so I hope learning will be fast and I will be able to adapt (resistance is futile:)) :)) :)) Some basic examples how bigger and smaller gear function together and what effects they can make would be wonderful I would also like to know how can I use one motor for two tasks (two groups of gear). Which brick to use for that Any additional advice is most welcomed I have a deadline for this moc - end of February I will have more questions :) 8. If I have one axle from the motor, and 7 things (flowers) that I need to rotate - how do I do that? Thay can rotate with same speed. My main question is how to multiply drive from one axle to 7 gears that are not very close ...hope I am making sense...
