Hi all. I'd just to like share my first Pirates MOC - "Mutiny of the Map". This was inspired by Nivremis' MOC of the island shown on a Lego pirates treasure map. That made me think about other possible scenarios around the treasure map... and this is what I came up with. A reason for mutiny! Hello! Today I decided to build a coast guard car. I like the result. It's small and easy to build. I used only 31 bricks to make it. Car is build up with blue, white and black colored bricks. On the roof of my MOC I added a yellow surfboard. I will put this car to the LEGO beach. I like all official LEGO Coast Guard sets. I want to build LEGO coast guard ship, helicopter and small boat. Do you like my new MOC?

Not sure this is right in terms of what this contest is about but I figured I might as well post my new MOC here since it is a SW-vig. This scene shines a little light on what happened to Leia's golden bikini. For those of you who thought she just threw it awayafter she escaped Jabba's sailbarge, I can assure you that wasn't the case. She wore it on many vacations on years to come :) Leia's day at the beach (3) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (2) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (5) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr Leia's day at the beach (1) by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr

After being tasked by Brigadier Howe to establish a new settlement on Arlintina, Colonel Allcock headed east. Upon arrival at the southwest tip of the island, they spotted numerous coral reefs and the captain of the ship cautioned Allcock that moving closer to shore could be treacherous. So Allcock and a small group of soldiers rowed basic supplies to shore and established a camp for the night. One of the first courses of action was flying the red banner of Corrington. ------- A small build to move along @Ayrlego's story where he will set up a new settlement on Arlintina Details of the island:

Hello! I just wanted to show you my minor (tiny) modification on the City set 4200 Mining 4x4, which i made a few years back. I would like to continue work on this, and change the black bar 1x4x2 part with a yellow, or red one. Might put the yellow longboard on the car somehow. Maybe you could help me out a little! Thanks! Here's a Beach Buggy I made for an upcoming truck trial this weekend. This trial only has a few rules: Use 62.4 wheels, 2 motors for propulsion max and 1 for steering. It's based on Zblj's "Blue" suspension, drive and steering, modified to fit my beach buggy/trial needs. It features 4 wheel drive and steering. Was a little bit of work to work with the bright green from only 1 Le Mans set. Forgot to make a picture with the suspension pressed. Might make it tomorrow (bad lighting now). It looks pretty sweet with it compressed. The rear wheelarches look like they hug the wheels (a stud or so of space left between wheel and wheelarch). The car bottoms out with the suspension fully compressed. Here you can see how much I stole from Zblj. I only changed the type of suspension arms, slightly altered the steering mechanism and placed my motors differently for a lower look. (ignore my Lego tripod in the bottom right) Thank you for your time.

Hi guys, to celebrate Rogue One hitting the screens in the UK I have gone back to my favourite style of building and created this Scarif micro landscape. Another build for ABS Round 2.1, in which the seed part was the red bucket. This build started off with the hot rod, and I then decided it needed a bit of setting and sand seemed like a good choice. After that, a sand castle seemed an obvious choice for an extra use of the seed part. And the car does roll smoothly. More on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking

[GBW] - CP 1 - EROTEMA – HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN INVASION
sigpro posted a topic in The Great Brick War
[GBW] - CP 1 - EROTEMA – HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN INVASION There is a meeting at the Erotema´s Army Headquarters. Two officers of the Army Staff give instructions to prepare Erotema against an invasion from Briolui, and there is an officer of the Combat Engineers Brigade and another from the Mountain Brigade. There are also orders to improve Refnor´s and Filace´s land defenses. PREPAR1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Combat Engineers have many main functions: provide protection for their own troops by building shelters and other useful structures; provide mobility by clearing mine fields or building roads or bridges; and impair enemy movements by laying mines or preventing the use of bridges, roads, etc. This is what our 4-strong Combat Engineers squad is doing today. They have to prepare explosive charges in a bridge that leads to the capital town of Erotema, located in grid D4. It will be not the only bridge being prepared for an eventual invasion, of course. All the main bridges are to be prepared for an invasion (in grid E4 also). IMG_20170401_095522 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr IMG_20170401_095541 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr This bridge can hold the weight of a 70-ton MBT at a time (no more than 70 tons at the same time), so it is strategic for the defense of Erotema. Here we can see the squad leader discussing where to place the charges and the amount of TNT to set. dialogo ingenieros by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They decide to go down rappelling. The bridge is completed and ready to be blasted if necessary. This other bridge is easier to sabotage, and they use the zodiac to set the charges. ZODIAC1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr They are struggling with the water to complete their mission. zodiac2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Beaches must be prepared too, in grids C3-C4-B4-B5-B6-C6. They are laying an anti-tank mine. The Erotema Army has 2 types of anti-tank mines. Those which blast by pressure and anti-handling land mines. The latter can´t be moved and will blast if a heavy vehicle passes by very close. IMG_20170329_205909 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Walls also provide protection. These group of builders have selected a place close to the border with BRIOLUI to raise a wall, in grids E4-E5 and in the borders of REFNOR with other RON nations (grids E5-E6-F6-F7-E7-D7). The wall also covers the borders of EROTEMA with the allies FILACE and REFNOR (C3-D3-D4-E4-E5-D5-D6). IMG_20170401_113817 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr The wall is very high, more than 3 metres, and has machine guns, grenade launchers and detection devices all along it. IMG_20170401_114058 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr In another part of the country we have a brave squad of the Mountain brigade. They have the order to set up an anti-tank sites in a hilltop, and this is only one of many. Grids G3 and E5 in Filace, Erotema and Refnor. HILLTOP1 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr HILLTOP2 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr One of them must climb first and secure the way for his comrades. HILLTOP3 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Of course, it is a hard climb. HILLTOP4 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr It´s a hard work. Why? HILLTOP5 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr After a few hours they have finished. HILLTOP6 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Another view. HILLTOP7 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr And they show us how to deploy in case of a threat. HILLTOP8 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Close up on the Anti tank missile launcher. Inspired on the TOW, it has the same features, with a Night Vision sight and possibility to engage slow helicopters. The other weapon is a more conventional grenade launcher, with two types of warhead: HEAT and fragmentation. The first one is against “hard” targets (tanks, not able to destroy but able to cripple; APCs can be blasted) and the second is for “soft” targets (HUMVEES, trucks or similar). Without wind, they can target a slow helicopter too. HILLTOP9 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr -

Captain Ralph was a noted soldier in Eslandola's army. He had proved himself time and time again in their skirmishes against Mardier. So it was an easy choice when Eslandola's higher ups needed someone to lead the Lechuga squadron against Mardier's defenses. Leading the forces defending the Mardier line, Sinbad had once again been outfitted with new credentials that placed him at the head of a squad of Corrington soldiers who had opted to fight on behalf of Mardier. Captain Ralph had arranged to have multiple boats land at the same time allowing them to storm the palisade from different directions. He hoped that this would cause confusion for the soldiers on the wall, allowing his Lechuga squad to take out the Corries and bring down this section of wall. However, Sinbad's troops had the high ground and with such an open beach, it was easy for them to get the shots off they needed to slaughter the Eslandolian troops. Brave to the last, Captain Ralph was the first to be cut down. His troops mourned his loss and bravely fought on in his honor, but with no results except their own deaths. OoC: Special thanks to @Stash2Sixx for donating the amazing custom ESL troops and guns to be musket fodder for my MOC!

Who wants to take a look back in the history of cars should go to Cuba. Everywhere you look there are American cars from the 1950s, still used as Cuba's everyday vehicles. The car in my vignette here doesn't represent a special model or brand, but has some influences from a Plymouth Belvedere and a Chevrolet Bel Air. Hope you like it ;) Welcome to Cuba by Vaionaut, on Flickr Best, Johannes

Hi everyone I wanted to share my latest creation called "Seaside Memories". It's a little beach scene inspired by my childhood holidays at the British Seaside. The model contains less than 250 bricks and is built on a 16 x 16 plate. I've included 2 traditional beach huts and striped deck chairs, sandcastles, a picnic on the sand and much more. Everything you need for a fun day out at the beach. The beach huts both feature simple interiors details. I entered this model in to a recent LEGO IDEAS contest to design a seaside themed set. I'm really pleased to say that today it has been chosen as one of the 15 finalists in the contest. It's now down to a public vote to decide the winner and if this model wins it will be made in to a future gift with purchase LEGO set. If you like the look of the model then I'd be hugely grateful if you could give it your vote on LEGO IDEAS. Voting is open until 25th May. https://bit.ly/Legoseaside Anyway thanks for checking out my latest MOC and feel free to let me know what you think.

[pid][/pid] 251B Hello again ! I had not wrote a new thread here since months ... The blame for this has been what I brought in hand from about makes about 6 - 8 months... I present to you this diorama seen at LEGO Catbrick Event in Barcelona. The Fortress of Santa Catalina, located in Puerto Rico, in the heart of the Caribbean. Erected in the sixteenth century, was the first fortification built to defend the city of San Juan and the first in a series of military forts. Construction was authorized by King Carlos I of Spain as a protection against the attacks of indians, corsairs and pirates. Eastern tower section. Jungle and river. Pirate prisioner on courtyard. For its construction I used about 35,000 pieces. In theory it is not right either a MOC, I should label it as a WIP, because the original project is a quarter of a much larger diorama than this. This portion, is 6 x 4 baseplates and the final project will occupy 12 x 8 baseplates. Gradually I will try to finish it. I 'm uploading to flickr the rest of the gallery, so I recommend that you see there the rest of photos and see the details. (If you click on image you will be redirected to flickr) I wish you enjoy it! A greeting! EDIT: I add more photos!

Hi, I wondered if any of you had seen this article from 21st February 2019 over on the Mirror website: "Lego washes up on UK beach 20 years after 5million pieces spill from cargo ship" Apparently, Tracey Williams, who regularly collects the Lego, has a Facebook Group on the subject, called Lego Lost at Sea. Also, here's their Twitter account. I thought it was an interesting article and made me want to go down to Cornwall to hunt for lost Lego Castle parts. They must be saved!
