LEGO×Yu-Gi-Oh! Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (QC Anniversary MOC) byu/BrickPharaohThe1st inbioniclelego Part 5 of my tribute series for the Quarter Century Anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh, having made its debut at BrickFestival Coventry last weekend! One of my fav Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters, and the subject of fascination of mine since I first watched GX. I first tried my hand at this character 6 years ago for the 2018 BioCup prelims. Wasn't too happy with my execution nor presentation, so this year I finally decided I'd give this another shot. I'd like to say I managed to improve upon my first attempt but I included it in the last 2 shots so you can compare them yourselves! Taking suggestions for monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! you'd like to see! https://www.instagram.com/p/C_85DxbODaL/?igsh=MTdycjc0b3N5azM3Nw==

Trace (Axiom Verge) by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Trace is the main protagonist of the videogame Axiom Verge, a pixel-styled metroidvania that was created by a single person as a "love letter" to Super Metroid. Trace was a scientist in a laser lab stationed in New Mexico. One day some sort of malfunction occurred, bringing down the lab along with science team, including Trace. Next thing he knew, he awakened in a strange, alien place, to the voice of a stranger who introduced herself as Elsenova. Armed with nothing but a biomechanical Axiom Disruptor gun and Elsenova's voice, Trace must find his way back home... Shoutout to Demitsorou for post-processing the original render. They've knocked it out of the park lol.

It's been a while since I built a Leia figure and with the sad news of her passion late in 2016, I decided to build a figure of her iconic "A New Hope" princess figure with her 2 buns, white dress and wielding a blaster as a tribute. The head was the trickiest part. I was highly inspired by the cuteness of Luc Byard's brickbuilt Leia, but I didn't want her head to be as big or cartoony. Hope you like it. I will build some more characters at this scale as they are not as part count demanding. Couple pictures below and few additional ones on my Flickr account. R.I.P. The next part of my character story, check out part 1, and part 2. A few days after part 1. After the kidnapping of men by barbarians in Teridyan, a meeting was called in the map room of the M.I.S. manor, reuniting 3 high ranking members: The Blood Lords. Demm, head of Blood lords, vice-chief of the M.I.S. - So, you must be wondering why I have summoned you here? Krew, first Blood Lord, the Crow-Keeper - Well I most certainly am. Demm - I received a message from a friend in Teridyan, there has been another silent attack and kidnapping... Obara, second Blood Lord, the Key-Keeper - We are yet to solve the last one. Demm - But this time the situation has gotten worse, a member of the M.I.S. has been removed during this attack a few days ago. Kan, third Blood Lord, leader of the M.I.S. Northern Guardsmen - Who is it? Demm - Finnak Sern, known as Fin. Obara - I met him on a few occasions, I cannot imagine he'd be an easy man to kidnap. Demm - We believe this attack is related to the others, so based of witnesses, the attackers are large, barbaric looking men, who come in the night and take the men only, leaving everything else untouched. We've narrowed down the location of the attackers and hopefully their prisoners to somewhere in Mitgardia. Kan - It's not that that is not much to go on, but all of Mitgardia is a rather broad search area, not to mention we've had M.I.S. specialists investigating these kidnappings for over a year now... Demm - Which is why I've called upon you three, Krew, we need you to provide an eye in the sky, use your crows to search the land far and wide. Krew - As you wish sir. Demm - Obara, I believe a man matching the description of the attackers is in your custody after getting injured during one of their little raids, we need as much information off him as possible, and by any means. Obara - Very well sir, we interrogated him when he was sent in to no success, but I won't fail this time. Demm - Kan, as much as your services are not required at the moment, as soon as the location of these men has been revealed we'll need your guardsmen to strike and recover any Mitgardian prisoners. Kan - Aye,it would be my pleasure m'lord, I'll get the boys prepared. Demm - And I wish to present you head of our rangers, Thomas, he and his men will search all Mitgardia for the Barbarians. Thomas- Good evening gentlemen, wish I could chat but I believe we all have work to do. Demm - Good luck to you all. A few months later. Krew - Sir my crows found nothing, we've searched all the land for a trace of the barbarians for months now, and word from Obara says the prisoner was no use, we have nothing... Thomas - The same for my rangers sir... Demm - This is most unusual, and leaves two solutions, either they aren't in Mitguardia, Avalonians or Nocturnians maybe, or... Krew - No, that's not possible sir, the only thing up there is ice creatures and snow! Thomas - What we are dealing with are no ice creatures, yet no man could survive up there. Demm - Someone must go, someone must venture through the snow and ice... Thomas - I will go, I knew Fin, I shall not let him down. Krew - Alone? Thomas - I will take any willing rangers, but if none agree, yes, I shall go alone. Demm - The best of luck to you master ranger, you will go where very few dare, brave the Frozen Beyond. Thomas - Thank you sir, I shall return and with the location needed. Possibly my largest GoH build so far, starting off with just the map and then expanding, the map was rather fun to build, and I tried to make it as accurate as I could. Sorry the story kinda jumps through time here though going back to before part 2, and then to after it. Without minifigs: -Thanks for looking!

Second build for my character story, explaining his 2 year absence, part 1. A few days after part 1. After waking up with an excruciating headache from the knife hilt, the second thing I noticed was the icy cold I'd woken up to. The sound of footsteps and something being dragged across the snow could also be heard. My body had been wrapped in a nearly soft cloth, presumably to keep me from freezing to death, and had been tied down, my head still in the bag they put on me what I'm guessing must be a few nights ago now. I was laying on something hard, but not as cold as stone, so wood, that would also explain the dragging sound, I was tied to a sled. Yet no horse could be heard, only men, remembering the two men who attacked me in my room; large brutes, but strong enough to pull a heavy sleigh through the snow in such temperatures for days on end? What kind of men was I dealing with, barbarians, savages...? Counting the times we stopped assuming they were nights, it had been just over a month, dragged through the snow on a sled with little food and water. The first week I'd struggled, trying to find a way to untie myself and escape, a cold cylindrical object regularly bumped my head through the sack, a sword hilt? But after that, the cold, the lack of food, water, and very little sleep, I felt close to death. It almost got my once, they'd placed me on a boat, and the rocking motion without any sense of direction almost made be very sick, nearly throwing up inside the bag, which would not have ended well. I couldn't help but noticed how the temperature continued to drop, meaning one of two things, we were going up into mountains, but we haven't climbed any substantial slopes, or we were going North, very far North. So like I said, taking a break from AoM to continue my character story a bit. -Thanks for looking!

This is the first MOC I present here on EB. It's a large scale figure of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time measuring around 1 foot/ 30 cm tall. He has 14 joints of articulation so he can be posed in several positions. This is also the first time that I have submitted a model to LEGO Ideas and it would be much appreciated if you could support and share if you like this model. Here's the link (no pun intended) to the project: Link to Ideas

The second creation on my "elemental personification": Kuohu of Water, goddess of streams, floods, raindrops and oceanic trenches. This began with the geometric patterns on the dress. The hardest part was the aqua-coloured hair, as I didn't have that much basic parts in that colour - fortunately those dragon wings made the bulk of it. I tried to fill the hat with water-esque parts (foam, steam and a bubble). The legs were another challenge, as the dress limits movement a lot. The shoes also took few tried, but I'm happy with the results. More on Cyclopic Bricks.

Mistral Nereis, apparently a pirate gal, from Japanese game Shining Hearts. Never played it, don't know the character really, but the concept art piqued my interest. The multi-layered dress seemed like a challenge and oh boy it was, took me hours and hours to get it right... I also settled for a sitting pose as it couldn't bear the weight of the dress standing. Very geometric stuff overall, shaping the clothes for this one. More on my blog, Cyclopic Bricks.

Many creatures roam the North, most posing no threat unless you are unfortunate enough to wander into their territory. But sometimes these creatures roam too close to civilization, and when that happens, they become the unfortunate ones. Northern Huntsman usually hunt in small groups, protecting small remote villages from possible predators, but a mere dire-wolf can be dealt with by a lone Huntsman if needed to. And just the figs and wolf head: So first off apologies for not being particularly active in the last month or so, mostly life got in the way, but I'm trying to make more time for lego-related stuff, especially for Challenge V with hopefully a 2 part story build And also this is a build from 2 months ago, for CCCXIV, but for my Challenge V builds and story, my "new" sig-fig is going to be present so I thought it best to introduce him a bit first. But of course without giving any spoilers for my character story ( Pt.1, Pt.2, Pt.3 and Pt.4 ), which I'm hoping to continue some time soon. -Thanks for looking!

The angelic overseer of the new digital age, guiding lost souls through the binary paths of ether networks. I wanted to build a character using blue, as I rarely use it as the main colour. Magenta worked nicely as the secondary colour. One trick that was on my short list was those solar panels, inverted; the sticker has a print on both sides, so the underside gets enigmatic blue glitter pattern. The halo is a Clickits wristband. I wanted to build a geisha in vibrant kimono, and an another samurai character to accompany her. A tea ceremony scene felt natural way to do it. It was going to take place in a tea house or a pavillion at first, but as I didn't have parts for the walls in this scale, I changed the setting into a garden. The geisha also became a maiko, an apprentice geisha, as they wear more detailed attire. Vibrant and rugged colour scheme and details on two different sides of the creation reflect the character's nature and class; the maiko is surrounded by flowers, and the samurai's swords rest on the rocks beside him. More pictures and talk on my blog.

Hello all. After getting the awesome Ultrakatty set and having the little system built Duplo alien sitting on my desk for a week or two I thought it would be funny to incorporate it into a larger moc. I got out my nieces's Duplo bricks and this was the result of a few hours of building on Saturday. Beware the mutated might of the hideous Duplo Beast! Hope ya like it :)

This is an one-and-half-year-old WIP completed recently. It is based on Czech Art Nouveu artist Alphonso Mucha's drawing "Study for visual arts" from 1898. It is a sketch for a series of decorative panels depicting art forms. In my model, the figure sits on river bank; a delightful summer scene for midwinter! The rainbow-ish circle is a callback to round "halos" common in Mucha's ornamentation. More photos and stuff on my blog Cyclopic Bricks.

80cm Sonic Before you ask, this is not a digital build. You may discover that the head is slightly (about 5 degree) leaning backward because it is too heavy. I can ensure you that tangible build is much funnier than digital build. I have to pay attention to the structure and balance of the model. Not a huge fan of Sonic, but my daughter is. So, this MOC is built for her. Desired to build this a year ago. The planning stage is long because I need to figure out how to support Sonic's huge head with his thin and long legs. The actual building stage takes about 2 weeks. No glue used. Instead, I use more than 100 liftarms to tackle the supporting issue. 0 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 4 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 7 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 8 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 9 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 6 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 2 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 5 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 10 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 12 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr 15 by skcheung730, 於 Flickr

Little work of my day https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chibi_(slang) Inspiration from Mavis Vermillion, in the Manga Fairy Tail. Made with LDD and stud.io. Failed to make the hair that long, curly and half-tapered back. Just a horror to do! So I'd settle for short hair Chibi by Horlack, sur Flickr
