1. Hi! I'm working on a new cockpit canopy and wonder if this is something people would buy. I've been building fighter jets for many years now. However for a long time the cockpit canopy isn't the best for the different ways it works in reality. Brick 30384 and 92279 So I've been doing a 3d model of them and they have now been printed. Working with a plastic company to get a prototyp. So the pices are made to fit most of the "modern" fighter jet canopy. Like F18, F14 etc. So first you have a shorted 30384 that will remain fixed on the aircraft, like F18. And a extended 92279 by 3 studs that will be the canopy that opens and closes. Another version (not printed) is the F16 version canopy. So my question for you guys are. Is this something of interest? They would be made as close to lego's as possible. 2. Instructions available NOW for US $7.99: Instructions Explore the depths of the deep sea with the HERMES EX101 Deep Sea ExoSuit. Seat yourself in the double-walled cockpit and use the levers to control the arms and legs. Be careful, though, the oxygen may run out! Attach the hook to rocks so you don't drift away (and watch out for the sharks)! This mech is designed with LEGO bricks that are currently available. However, lights are not included in the package but are only shown in the render. They can be purchased at several third-party retailers including LYGOD, LightMyBricks, Brickloot, and Lightailing. BUILD Deep Sea Suit Lit Drop 1 by Peter Bryant, on Flickr This build is remarkably simple: It's divided into 14 submodels, most of which are repetitive. I incorporated what I believe to be my best SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques yet. DESIGN PROCESS As with all of my MOCs, I started by doing a rough sketch of how I wanted it to look. I took heavy inspiration from 76105-1 The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition. This means that many design elements are taken from that mech. For example, the design of the legs is very similar to, but not a direct copy of, that robot. Please, consider purchasing as I am trying to gather all of the parts to build in real life. FEATURES Minifigure cockpit (as in, a Minifigure fits inside) Fully posable Instructions bundle includes .xml file for easy upload to BrickLink and full - color instructions (White Background) Sticker Sheet and display stand coming soon!
3. Top view with locations Impostor Green is waiting for red... The Reactor and upper engine. Upper part of the ship including the cockpit at the front below the arch. Views Side View The accessories of the characters can be easily swapped around and shared between them creating impostor and non impostor versions as well as looks of different skins, like in the game. Added a ghost version of the famous red player design. If you like it, it is also a set on LEGO ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/29f9ebe5-b5a0-4fdb-bbaf-86f9e96d0865 http://tinyurl.com/amonguslego
4. 'Pacific Rim' Jaeger Cockpit-WIP OK, I haven't seen Pacific Rim, and don't know about any objectionable content. I just know that the Jaeger cockpits look stinkin' amazing and I wanted to build me one...So I did. Well, am. It's still being worked on. This is just Mark I. There's no back yet, I'd like to get smoother joints in the harnesses, and obviously the red pillars will be hidden later, but otherwise I think it's pretty neat. I'm not necessarily going off one Jaeger design over another, but is my main reference.Comments/feedback are always highly desired, and feel free to ask about close-ups/other angles. Not sure when the next update will be, but hopefully things will be more complete at that time. Thanks for looking!
5. Hi Everyone, This is my first post on here but I have been following some of the amazing minifig scale Star Wars MOCs' on here. I have been fascinated with them and decided to give them a bash. So far the rebel fleet includes UCS Slave 1, UCS Falcon (2017), Most recent A-Wing, I have made Intherts' X-Wing, U-Wing, as well as created a Y-wing using his cockpit and reverse engineered the main body of the ship form images. SO, to add to the fleet the Rebel scum have stolen the plans for a Lambda Shuttle.(I) They have gotten pretty far with the rebuild/reverse engineering of the design from the images on Marshal Bananas' Flickr but I have gotten stuck with the landing gear and how to connect the cockpit at those angles! I have started ordering parts for the real build. I'm about 50% delivered and will be starting on the cockpit first to try work it out in actual bricks. Would welcome your comments as well as any advice you guys may have about the build. https://www.flickr.com/photos/150280550@N02/ MB Lambda Shuttle by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr MB Lambda Shuttle #1 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture4 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture5 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture6 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture3 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture1 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Thanks! 6. Hey everybody this is my first time posting so please tell me if I did something wrong or you need more clarification on something. This is the V19-83 Starship. It's something I am working on for a comic I am creating. The basic story of this is that it is a prototype that was left unfinished and found by my protagonist. I wanted something that in essence would be bare-bones but unique. I would like for this ship to change and grow as the story continues which is personally one of my favorite aspects in storytelling. I've always loved when the characters get a new base or upgraded gadgets. I wrote descriptions on every photo I took in my main album so I'm linking a couple of my favorite pictures here and if you would like to see more and read about my thoughts then feel free to visit the entire album. https://www.flickr.com/gp/133010472@N06/9VC3N3
