166D Ahoy, time for a more serious attempt to build a ship: This is the HMS Jupiter (3rd generation). The model is loosely based on the HMS Diana (many non-lego models seem to be around - check out this e.g. http://www.modelship...Diana_I_eng.htm) So, we have the captain: ... and his crew (with many custom cannons)... There she is sailing away: Some different custom cannons on deck: ... not to forget Jupiter himself: .. and one of two custom carronades: The ship is built in a modular way: For some strange reason Emmet found his way onboard but he found himself equally terrified by a crew member and by the ship's goat. (Oh, no monkey on this one) This is a joint collaboration of me and my son and we are both happy and proud about the result. Please send your comments! (Actually, the HMS Jupiter does not look so yellow in reality. I still need to convince my photo editing program to produce something decent... )

167A Ahoy, I am happy to present a brigg [sorry: it seems to be "brig" in English] with custom sails - the India (because of the galion): I have tried custom sails before but without the custom rigging. This time I am quite happy about the result. Then I found that the pictures look much better with a decent blue background: The crew is famous, as usual I hope you enjoy this (small) brigg and I am looking forward to comments that tell me that the "rear sail" is incorret . So, we sail into the sunset: ... wishing everyone a nice weekend! (P.S.: Don't try to search for "Lego Brig". Some clever algorithm is sure that you meant "Lego brick". I hate programs that try to be intelligent...)
