Fate(ful) has smiled on us today, and we now have a list of names, prices, and part-counts for Ninjago’s January 2025 wave! 71823: Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 54 pieces / $10 71824: Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 56 pieces / $10 71826: Dragon Spinjitzu Double Pack / 186 pieces / $20 71827: Zane’s Battle Mech / 92 pieces / $20 71828: Lloyd’s Race Car / 181 pieces / $30 71829: Lloyd’s Forest Dragon / 128 pieces / $20 71830: Kai’s Storm Rider Mech / 333 pieces / $40 71831: Ninja Spinjitzu Temple (4+) / 158 pieces / $40 71833: Ras’ Storm Jet / 510 pieces / $50 71834: Zane’s Ultra Combo Mech / 1187 pieces / $100 71841: Dragonian Storm Village / 305 pieces / $40 It looks like “Dragon Spinjitzu” will be the new gimmick, and possibly a new technique that the Ninja learn in Season 3; Lord Ras survives and continues to be an antagonist (not a surprise, but still a bit of a spoiler), and the villains are storm-themed. Considering that Nokt has blue markings (possibly storm elemental?) and physically resembles the Island Keepers, maybe their species is called “Dragonians” and they (or at least some of them) will return as the villain army in DR S3. 🤔

Fire Emblem Fates: Corrin (Male, Female, and Dragon)
StudWorks posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
My 1:12-scale figures of Male Corrin, Female Corrin, and Corrin's dragon form from the Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem Fates! Instructions for all three are available on Rebrickable! Corrin is Fire Emblem Fates' main character/avatar, a noble torn between the kingdoms of Nohr and Hoshido. The human figures have authentic articulation with their many joints, plus various details from the game: Yato, Corrin's legendary sword and Omega Yato, the sword's true form. Dragonstone. Shape-shifted dragon head. Dragon fang shot arm with blast. Dragon lance arm. Three changeable facial expressions (normal, smiling, and shouting). Open hands and fists. Adjustable cape and skirt. (Female Corrin also has adjustable hair) A 1x1 plate to raise hip/legs assembly for crouching poses. Posing stand for complicated poses and stability. The stunning brick-built dragon also has authentic articulation: its head, neck, arms, legs, claws, tail, and wings can all be adjusted for posing. For lovers of Fire Emblem and LEGO, my 1:12 scale figures are the perfect, affordable way to show your love for your favorite characters. As most may never be produced in actual action figure form, here's your chance to build your own! Hope you like the figures, more Fire Emblem Fates characters are coming soon!-

Since this year (2024) is the Year of the Dragon in Chinese zodiac, I've been thinking to build a Transformer dragon using official LEGO set. However, I kinda forgotten about this plan until last month! So I scrambled to find the right lego set to start a dragon project. And finally.... this alt MOC is born! This 2-headed dragon transformer is built using only parts from set 31121: Crocodile . And this is my 7th (Yes, SEVENTH) Transformer made using the said set. Seasoned G1 Transformers fans might recognise this MOC as Hung-grr, a Decepticon from teamTerrorcons that turned into similar alternate mode. Noticed the tan colored triangular parts below his necks. THey're important to stabilize the heavy necks and heads from sagging. ROBOT MODE As always..transformation between modes doesn't require reassembly of parts. More photos in my blog link below https://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2024/12/video-tutorial-transformers-two-headed.html VIDEO TUTORIAL LAST WORDS.. I'm not done with dragons yet! I'm anxiously waiting for next year's LEGO Creator Dragon to build another Dragon Transformer from.!.

*** In the mystical realm of Thyndros, the Wizard of Light and the Wizard of Dark were once brothers, bound by blood and magic. Their harmony shattered when the Wizard of Dark, seduced by the whispers of an ancient evil, sought to harness forbidden spells to dominate the world. The Wizard of Light, devoted to preserving peace, opposed his brother's dark ambitions. This clash of ideals sparked a war that tore the land apart. The black dragon, Valkhoros, was summoned by the Wizard of Dark from the depths of the Abyss. With eyes that glowed like molten lava and wings that blotted out the sun, Valkhoros became the harbinger of doom, spreading fear and destruction in the name of his dark master. *** Hello, I love the dark creatures of fantasy movies and therefore I decided to design a black dragon to Bricklink Designer Program Series 6: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-6/2092/Dragon-Attack It is not actually based on an existing character, I was inspired by some cool AI generated pictures and some cool dragon head builds, but I built something brand new. I wanted to create a movable animal instead of a static statue and added a small tower and two wizards to the set for more playability options. The Wizard of Light has a staff and a crystal ball. The rear of the tower is removable to make the interior space accessible, and the door works as well. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two stickes are used for the dragon eyes and they are based on the printed part 98138pb386 which is not available in this series. Dimensions of the dragon (as it is shown on the main picture): Width: 71.0 studs / 22.4 in / 56.8 cm Length: 67.5 studs / 21.3 in / 54.0 cm Height: 44.8 studs / 14.1 in / 35.8 cm Some rotation joints can only be stable in certain positions, for example the tail end must rest on the ground. I hope you enjoy this set. Many thanks for your support and feedback! Hvitdreki, the white dragon I remember the first time I saw him. It was a crisp morning, the kind that makes your breath fog in front of you. I had wandered beyond the familiar woods, drawn by an unexplainable urge, a chanting of the gods. I crested a hill and there was a clearing. Shimmering in the sunlight, blending with the snow and the ice. Its scales glistened, each one catching the light in a dazzling display. A misinterpreted beast. How could such a beautiful creature cause such caos and distress? My heart raced with a mix of fear and awe. I was gazing upon a legend, a living embodiment of the myths our elders spoke of by the fire. Hvitdreki, the white dragon. Silently, I left, hiding in the shadows, to remember this day for all days to come. What I didn’t know was that we would meet again. But that is a tale for another night. ______________ Louis of Nutwood Hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

The City of Bandari An entry into "A Safe Haven", the Fifth Anniversary Challenge, Category A Also Chapter 7 of the Chronicles of Hesperia The druid Henjin Quilones, Galaria the former princess, and Hamisha the returning exile stepped out of the rowboat and began making their way up the dock and onto the shore. They had to duck around several sharks hanging by their tails on the beach, strung up by the fisherman who lived in the house by the dock. Before them spread the City of Bandari, the jewel of Mwamba. Hamisha, who was leading the way, paused to take it all in, tears beginning to form in the corners of her eyes. She recognized so many faces that she had not seen in hundreds of years, not since the council of this city had voted to send her away. They had seen the Bahari, the master fisherman at work hauling in his nets as they tied up at the dock. Ahead of them was Chuma, smithing away at something at his forge. Winda, the elf scout, was standing up on a balcony overlooking the market, but her attention was fixed on something happening around the corner of the massive building on the hill. "That is the dragon hatchery," Hamisha told the others. "The dragons come here and lay their eggs, and then the elves take the best care of them until they hatch. They are very watchful and observant, too. Inside that building are sand pits kept at the precisely correct temperatures to maintain optimal egg health. The gnomes of this city tend to some sort of subterranean network of pipes that bring hot steam under the sand; there is always vapor of some kind coming out of the holes behind the hatchery." "But up on the side of the building," continued Hamisha, "You can see a sight that is quite rare; an adult male dragon meeting his hatchling for the first time! That is Nyeusimoto, and he is the dragon companion of Lord Mkuu, one of the elf princes of the land." "Watch your step in the market here. The sellers can be very pushy; or at least, the humans of three hundred years ago were. I doubt much has changed in the intervening time." "And whatever you do, do not mess with the aelfcats or the dragon knights, or step in the way of a centaur!" "It is good to be home." More pictures: ___________________________________________________________________________________ ....................................................................................................................................................................... C&C welcome! This one was light on story, heavy on build. For those curious about the figures seen throughout the build, my category B CMF series will shed some light on most of them, besides the aelfcats, who are new. This is by far my largest build, being about 100x100 studs, making it four times the size of my previous record, and I have been working on it since July or August. It was hard getting good shots of it, and I really only had one chance at pictures, as it took an hour or more to move it from my LEGO table to my outdoor photo site and re-build the sections, and then moving it back again resulted in stuff breaking. Fitting all that into the kids' nap time is not easy. Ah well. Someday it is my dream to have a designated photography studio in my house, or at least nice gear (besides just a camera), but that will have to wait until I win the lottery. For now it will be good to take this apart and have bricks to build other things finally.

My 2nd entry for the 15th Colossal Castle Contest, for the “Ye Old Switcheroo” category. I used a technique somewhat similar to my technic rockwork, but using plate modified with clip and handle instead of technic bricks for the cliff, and really like how it turned out. Getting a dragon’s egg is always a dangerous business. This Mitgardian adventurer thought switching an egg for a similar shaped rock would allow him to make an undetected swap. After a long climb up the cliff face to reach the dragon's nest, he finally seems to have achieved his objective. But will he really get away with the egg? Plenty more pictures available on brickbuilt! Finally finished the semester, so now I can get onto CCC entries/GoH builds! C&C welcome

[MOC] walking dragon
Kaero posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Make more animals! So I made a six legged walking dragon. It is based on "basic walking frame" by JK Brickworks ( http://jkbrickworks.com/motorized-mic... ). Very primitive, however kids like when the veeery slow dragon tries to catch them :) Video: -
I was asked to play Brikwars, so I built his mechanic dragon to make my dwarven army a bit stronger. The mechanical dragon features a maw flamethrower with a light brick and a tail-mounted machine gun. There are both western and easters dragon influences here. I wanted it to have short legs and no wings. More pictures on Cyclopic Bricks.

When I got the green baseplate 16x32 I knew I need to build small diorama on it. From some time I wanted to build something in Dark Bluish Gray colour for testing purpose. I am going to build bigger castle in that colour. I also had returning idea of creating hanging bridge. And that's how this fast MOC evolved. Built for a commission, this dragon was based on a detailed piece of concept art my client sent me. I loved having an excuse to return to my niche, and think of this as one of the best dragons I've designed! You can check out all images in their larger versions by clicking them. I'm quite pleased with how uniform the colors are on this build. The dark orange jumper plates up top are meant to evince orange spine striping, which was present in the concept art dragon on which this MOC version was based. Drakkirion has a wingspan more than 19" (47cm) wide. For the first time, I used a two-colored fabric on dragon wings (the underside is a burnt orange, the top a deep red). It pleased me, as well, to take advantage of the new (usually ugly) recoloring of 4L and 6L Technic axles. The minifig that rides Drakkirion was also based on a concept art image provided by my client. The trenchcoat here is cut from a Prince of Persia awning cloth. Appreciate any comments ans critiques you have in the comments below!

Hi finally i can present my latest Elves MOC. As i felt that Ragana needs a dragon when all the other elves have one, i decided to build one matching her colors. Its a black/magenta color scheme with a mix of that strange green (am lazy to find the right name) Her name could be: Ashtari, mother of Ashwing Base of this build is the White Dragon body recolored in black and customized at the bottom, prolonged by 2 studs. Then rear legs are from Ashwing and front legs custom. Head of course Ashwing, the only thinkable head for an evil dragon currently. Instead of just a seat i have given Ragana a throne :) I had to open both Ashwing set i got in 50% discount to build this dragon (due to the black claws only from this set and there was no time for BrickLink order - dragon was built for exhibition) and as a side project i also built a little Ashwings brother or sister. Luckily there are small green wings from Farans dragon as i found out during build, that the original wings are too big for the Water dragon, but the green color is still fitting good. Funny thing with the build was that i found out that White dragons head mold is bigger that all others (i dont own this set yet), so the dragon looks a bit strange with the big body and smaller head, but someone told me that it looks more realistic in proportions for a dragon - anyway i cant do anything about it as there is no other color for the big head. Sorry for the low quality pictures, was photographed during night when kidz are sleeping :) BrickShelf galery

Since LEGO has so many types of gears and connectors I started to think about making a automata toy. Instead of a still scene, the motion may create a lot of fun. This one can be categoried to the castel series, it depicting a scene that one guy is draged by the flying dragon, and the othe two are trying to rescue him. For the dragon, there are several parts can be rotate or adjusted, including: head, both wings, hands and feets, tail. I will update the instruction of the dragon soon.

Hey, A question to others who own the 9450 set with the four headed dragon. My kids have this set, build it when they got it. Never took it apart or anything but now I noticed that the lower half of two dragon heads start falling off. It are the two heads without the ball-shooter. The lower parts of those heads are very loose and thus easily fall down the technic rod. A small swoosh is enough. Anybody else has this issue? I know workarounds but it isn't... cool. As all other dragon heads are still fine, also on other models (ice, fire, earth, lightning, gold).

Hello! Recently I have decided to enter a contest over on Flickr, the Colossal Battle Contest in the group LEGO War. One of the categories is Beasts of battle, and I was wondering if anyone had ideas/techniques of how to build cool animals that might fit that theme. I already have one entry done, but I still want to hear some ideas and learn some new techniques to apply in other builds as well. I hope this topic will help others too, because I know that animals and beasts are often rather difficult to realistically represent in LEGO brick form. Thanks everyone!

Hello! Here's new MOCs of my favourite Lego theme :) I keep the fingers crossed for next year because it's so inspiring series. First one is all about big fountain - I like that method when water is made with scattered small transperent pieces, so I decide to try it too :) Also there's tea room and greenhouse This I builded before. The Idea is expansion of Dragon Sanctuary set. I added counsil hall with elemental themed thrones. Also there was first floor cave, but it happend little chaotic so I don't include it here.

decided to make shenron from the tv show dragon ball z, its not full scale as that'd be huge, its pretty much a display piece, any feedback and thoughts would be great

Well, turns out I'm back with another MOC, but it's not of any old imaginary creature of the night, nor an alien race of chess pieces. It is, as the title suggests, none other than my favourite video game character ever. Spyro the Dragon! This in particular is based on his original Nineties game appearances (not Skylanders) which holds quite some nostalgia for me. I always wanted to build this little guy with Technic and CCBS bits, but sadly, not enough pieces exist in the right colours so, rather than my original intention to build this in real life, I had to resort to LDD. And here it is: Here's the stuff I wrote for the Flickr description: Having recently rediscovered all the old things I used to love as a child (from the Nineties), I recently had an overwhelming urge to build one of my favourite video game characters ever. Spyro the Dragon. This MOC is based on the appearance of classic Nineties Playstation 1 Spyro (not Skylanders Spyro, I wish classic Spyro would come back! Then I'd have a reason to buy a Playstation 4 ). Built in LDD (was going to be a real-life model until I realised the lack of purple Technic and CCBS meant the end result would look nothing like Spyro) and rendered using Bluerender. The model took about 8 hours to build. And as a little extra, I've also built his faithful companion Sparx the Dragonfly, in his full health colours. And, as with the Chess pieces which some of you may remember, I've also made a GIF spinnie. Click here to view it Anyway... positive comments, constructive criticism and butterflies for Spyro's companion Sparx all appreciated

Hi, LEGo pirates fans. It took me much time to create it. And you can judge if it’s worth it. The size of the village is 48 by 48 studs, but I put the base plates so that you could see the mini figs better. The pirates came to pillage the islanders’ village. It’s so rich that you can see gold, silver and gems anywhere. And the pirates are carrying all that not only in ebony chests but also in baskets, bags etc. Lots of the islanders are weaponless but not defenseless because the sea dragon and the gold and bronze idols, the patrons of the village, won’t let the treasure away so easily. And the majority of the robbers and cutthroats are already being cooked on the rack (which is in the background not to over shock LEGO fans). Another classic horror things are 2 Iron Maidens (a skeleton is falling out of one of them) and The dragon is chewing a greedy pirate who didn’t drop his treasure bag even when the dragon caught him. Achu is sitting on the dragon’s back. Many of the mini figures became grey-haired instantly seeing all that horror. For example the pirate caught by a silver idol who became alive after the pirate tried to steal a huge sapphire from its crown. Some unlucky guys are pierced with the pale. Kahuka wearing his big bloody mask is watching the death feast from his high green throne. Can you see small flames under the rack? I'll try to add a couple of pictures from other angles later. Any C&C is welcome. Please support my 2 LEGO ideas projects if that's interesing for you. Pillage the Village is going on! You can see an idol in front of the first vigvam. It became alive and caught a pirot - no escape! There are some poisonous red snakes in the bushes. Greedy and unlucky pirates don't see them.

Combiner models need more love and the transparent blue elements from Kopaka and Gali plus Kopaka's ice sword elements cried out for an ice dragon rahi. I also experimented with the new gearbox and leftover parts and ended up with a golden ice scarab with nice gear-powered movement. What do you think? More photos here.

The Monstrous Nightmare is the most aggressive and stubborn known dragon in the "How to train your Dragon" universe. It unleashes a streaming blast of fire similar to napalm and lava-like fire. It's eyes were made from using minifig sideburns - http://www.bricklink...p?P=3626cpb0756 An example of the old model Thanks for viewing!

The next dragon is the two-headed Hideous Zippleback. The one head head breathes gas, while the other one lights it, resulting in a fiery explosion! Instead of posting all the new dragons I've made from "How to train your Dragon" into one big topic, I've going to post them individually. The dragons eyes were made from minifig sideburns - http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=3626bpx90 The dragon is a remake of my previous model, which was built back in 2010. Thanks for viewing!

Hiccup and his best buddy, Toothless, from How to Train your Dragon 2, are high above the clouds in search of new adventures, as they map down the undiscovered "brick" world. This is my 6th version build of Toothless so far. Anyway, has it been almost four years since I've posted anything to this site? Jeez, that will have to change. I've made quite a lot since then, although I don't build much as I used to. Since my work in the past has been popular, I took the time and effort to make instructions to Toothless, for those who are interested. However, I've never made my instructions public before, so some parts could be hard to read. The instructions link to Brickshelf and Imgur .
