I've had this MOC (originally inspired by the bank from set 79109, Colby City Showdown from the 2013 Lone Ranger theme) made in the real world for about a decade, and I thought it was high time to redo it into a modular style, as it is very close to that scale / size. I added a new neon sign out front that says 'piano bar' to the model, as the old 'saloon' one was removed seven years ago and it didn't look good anyway. You can view the original 2015 neon sign here. The 1890s-style building has two floors, a flat roof, and a removable base for easy conversion from modular to non-modular. The rear of the building really hasn't got any details. On this level are the bar where drinks are served, a few tables, and the stairs to the second floor. Of course, with this build being set in the 1920s, all the drinks are non-alcoholic. (...or at least they're supposed to be!) On the second floor is the piano and more tables. I can just about hear the piano player now... Thoughts, comments, questions and so on are welcome!

Emile, We got a plot of land in Fatu Hiva that we could build on. It may not be profitable yet, but it will be as the village grows. It's a three story building with an extended addition to store the alcohl from our factories, so wjhen people ask for more hopefully we have more in stock. Three stories can you believe that? Maybe when can rent out different areas? There's so much commerce going on here. All my love, Elise Elise, Dear, this is fantastic news. Our business will expand soon to other colonies. Commerce from Oleon will grow so much we won't be able to manage it. Coudl you imagine? I'm doing my best here out in some of the furthest regions. You won't believe it. I'll be back soon, with gifts, mind you. But the only gift I can't bring back is you, as you're there already. Soon to see you, Emile

Where do minifigures go after a hard day at work? Where do they go on the weekends? Where do the frat guys hang out when they're not at the house? Why they're all down at the bar on Brickth St, of course. Let's check it out! Here's the bouncer. Looks like he's gotten into a scuffle recently. He performs ocular patdowns to see if the person wanting to get into the bar is cool. The musician up onstage rocking out to his sole fan. There's some booze in the background; he plays for exposure and booze, you know. Every bar has the guy in the Hawaiian shirt. If you don't kno who he is, you are him. In this scenario, the bartender is clearly not happy about this guy's drunkeness. And of course there is the girl being hit on by the guy she absolutely does not want to be hit on. Nothing wrong with jamming out, right? To get to the second floor, you need to take the stairs out the back. Posters on the walls. You can see the performer from up here. Someone is very happy about seeing out the windows. Trying to pick up girls. Pull away the walls, and you can see the bathroom. Toilet taken from an ebay seller named onemorebrick, and the sink is from hessianizer on flickr, which was incredibly weird to do on LDD. The roof and exterior/finishing. Glad you made it this far. Enjoy and would love comments/criticism.
