  1. Here are my latest, Actually completed and posted on the last day of the last year. I am a big child and I wanted to make some cute old-timers, and are there cuter cars than those from the 40's? Anyway, I made toys I could play with when I put my kids off to sleep and so I did. Everything opens and each model's got something extra. For example Fleetmaster Fastback version which is the police vehicle's got guns and a rifle. Coupe version for the Fire Chief's got some fire extinguishers, Sedan version which is the TAXI's got 2 suitcases and the Delivery stretched Ambulance version some medical gear an oxigen tank, water tank with a pipe and a gurney. I hope you like these and if you want to see more it's on Flickr. Just click on the pic
  2. Dear Lego, We know you design sets in advance, and it's very likely we'll see another lineup of fire sets for city. In conversations with other Lego fire builders, we humbly submit 5 requests regarding that theme. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration. 1. It's time for a new air tank mold. The double-airtank Lego mold is now 40 years old and inaccurate. It's probably time for an update. Firefighters in the United States (and around the world) use airtanks that are a single tank, not a double tank. See this photo 2. It's time for a more modern stretcher (Stokes basket). The Lego stretcher piece is from WWI. We're now 100 years past that technology. We'd really appreciate a Stokes basket piece. 3. We're desperate for lift doors in sizes other than just 4-tall. A 2-studs-tall (4 wide) version would be awesome. Also, we need them in red. The ones on Bricklink are going for $25+ EACH! 4. We'd like a 6-wide windscreen piece that's not sloped. This part – but in a 6-wide version. 5. This one is optional, but would be awesome. How about yellow printing on a black helmet? This is the standard helmet for firefighters in much of the U.S. One way to address this would be to release a collectable American firefighter minifig. It's strange that in all the collectible minifigs, there isn't a firefighter. Thank you for reading this and considering these requests. -Steven Asbury (and members of the Lego fire community)
  3. Hi everyone, I participated on a contest of LowLUG. The contest was to build something what has something to do with: in fire and flame. Maximum 16 x 16 studs and 20 bricks high. The third and last build was Sirius Black. I wanted to create the face of Sirius Black in the fire. I had the printed tile as example for the shape, but the colors of the printed tile were terrible. I used a lot of spike (?) parts for the hair, but it felt incomplete and I had no idea to change it. For more pictures see my Flickr album Sirius Black. Questions and feedback are welcome. Sander
  4. Some people say that the prequels sucked...and they did...but I believe that this scene redeemed all 3 movies (Minus He-sa who-sa shall not be named-sa ;) So I decided to replicate this epic Lightsaber battle in Lego. This moc has over 1500 pieces (most of which are in the lava) and took me and my sister about 7 hours to build and finalize. After a week of looking at it I thought something was missing so I ordered some fantastic Lego lights and set them up under that lava to create a fantastic effect. I would love some feedback on the moc and I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks so much for taking a look!

  6. The tales all tell about captains brave enough to challenge larger and more heavily armed opponents. And succesfully defeat those opponents by witty tactics and superior maneuvering ... However, those are the tales. When you face reality, reality in the shape of an English frigate facing a French 64 gun battle ship that is, all kinds of heroics are reduced and everything becomes a simple equation taking into account the relevant numbers. A bold move of the English captain but a stupid one, one full broadside of the French 64 was enough to blast him back to reality. A cooperation with Captain Greenhair.
  7. Some Ta-Koro tohunga whisper stories that these Rahi are Makuta's hatred in the flesh... --------------------- My entry for round one of the Bio-Cup, the challenge was to create a fire Rahi.

  9. Hi guys At first, we want to introduce ourselves: We are three excited Lego builders: Budo, Paliason and Bedo. Each of us has built many of our own MOCs in the past. Before the recent, we decided to do something together. The main condition was to do something untraditional, original and with many details. This is the Lego project, which we will introduce to you now. It is the scene from the PC game Command & Conquer: GENERALS and its expansion ZERO HOUR. Three factions fight against each other: USA, CHINA and GLA. USA: CHINA: GLA: Our common goal is to make a large map of approx. 6.25 square meters and on it the combat scenes of vehicles and the infantry of all three opponents. The map will also include several civilian objects (farm, houses), industrial buildings (Oil derricks) but also large USA base. The model will be dedicated to exhibitions and commemorations of the great PC game C&C: GENERALS, at this year's 15th anniversary of this masterpiece. Finished 3D CAD models: USA - Vehicles: USA - Structures: CHINA - Vehicles: GLA - Vehicles:
  10. Hello! Today I decided to build custom LEGO fire ATV. And this is what I've done. I like the colors and size of the ATV. I think, I will put it in the LEGO forest, near the city. By the way, I like all official LEGO forest fire and police sets. On my opinion, LEGO forest subtheme is good and I'm waiting for some new sets. Do you agree with me?
  11. Hello, I'm on a quest to build a completely custom city...and I need ideas from YOU. I have the following things already built Ems Police Trains but could add more Trash Truck Fire If you have any ideas please leave them below. Thanks mocpages link http://www.mocpages....home.php/122166
  12. Okay first off, this is my first Free Build, my first build for Historica period. So it might not be amazing but I don't think it's terrible. Constructive Criticism is appreciated. It features my character Dorshov the wizard, And yeah, on to the story: The wind rustled through the trees in one of the dense forests in Nocturnus. Step step clack, step step clack. The rhythmic sounds of foot steps and a walking stick echoed through the trees. An old man rounded the bend and started for the small bridge that spanned the small gorge cut by the creek that it surrounded. Ahead of him, on the opposite bank hidden behind a tree was a lone bandit. From his hiding place, he stared covetously at the large red jewel at the tip of the old mans walking stick. . As the old man stepped onto the bridge the bandit leapt out from his hiding place and charged forward! The old man (Dorshov), raised his staff and cried out a guttural word. And fire blasted from his staff, and the bandit screamed as he was consumed by fire.As the bandit crumbled to ash, Dorshov resumed his journey leaving the a mound of ash and a sword behind... finis (that's Latin for finish or end) As I said already compliments and criticism is welcome, thank you for taking the time to look at this. As requested I have added pictures of the entire build.
  13. Howdy all! I'm in the middle of designing a MOD/MOC for my daughter's Christmas present based off of City Police Station 7498, which I always felt was the 'best' City Police Station in modern times. But my OH pointed out that others would totally see the play-ability options in 60047 as making that set superior, even though I always felt the building was a bit naff. So, I began wondering - what, of the major sets, are the best of the best? Which one if YOUR favourite, and why? Major sets would be Fire Station, Police Station, Garage, Hospital etc; I've noticed everyone says "we haven't had a proper hospital since Town's ETC 6380" and I'm wondering if the same thing has happened with other big sets, or if it's a matter of taste?
  14. This model is basically two different "okay" fire boat sets smashed together to make a "better" ship. The features I'm talking about are modern upper decks with plenty of fire-fighting power (represented by CITY set 7207), and a brick built hull like from the early series of ships. (as seen on set WORLD City 7046) As a side note, The printed parts are from another Fire Station from the 4 Juniors theme. (4657) With that in mind, I built a whole new hull for the ship out of mostly 2 x 10 and 2 x 8 bricks with a few fancy bow parts from set 7046 thrown in. The rest of the ship comes from set 7207, but with a few tweaks here and there. (such as adding a smokestack and rear water tank) The rear of the ship features an extendable and rotatable water cannon arm to get deep inside the burning hull of the imaginary ship this vessel is fighting to save. You can also see the smaller cannons scattered around the ship in several locations. The top of the ship's bridge flips open to reveal the command center of the model, with the steering wheel and several computer readouts telling of power supplied to the engines and of radar detected objects in the ship's path. The lower deck consists of the galley (or kitchen) and a quite large computer terminal array. The forward flip-up section features water pressure monitor controls. NOTES: The upper deck (the bridge) is grouped separately in the file because it is removable to access the ship's lower level. Also, I originally made this for my brother, but he changed his mind on it, so I'll be (eventually) building it instead. And thanks to user BrickWild who provided the LDD file to begin this model in the "official sets made in ldd" topic: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=41226 LDD file: http://www.moc-pages...1470680805m.lxf PRINTED PARTS: The smokestack should have two of these: http://www.bricklink...Color=5#T=C&C=5 The water tank should have this print: http://www.bricklink...Color=5#T=C&C=5 The forward flip-up window section should be this part: http://www.bricklink...Color=5#T=C&C=5 As usual, comments, questions, and complaints would be very welcome! EDIT: ship majorly updated and LDD file amended as well. Enjoy!
  15. I've built these vehicles to be used for the town airport. It is a small unit containing a water (or foam) cannon, a tank with ladder, tools and hose and a paramedic vehicle. 16. Two of the the official Lego fire sets this year are based on a snorkel design. This inspired me to make my own. The boom is entirely self supporting at many angles. See more photos at http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/429108 . Let me know what you think.
  17. No relation to the boat. Really. TWO FIRE DEMONS Melty's on the left and Smashy's on the right. MELTY MELTY 2 SMASHY SMASHY 2 Yup, that's Batman's cape... Thanks for watching.
  18. Here is my very professional view of the Lego City 3019 "Fire Rescue & Police Chase" advertised as " Action-packed fire and police playset, overflowing with inspiration for kids and fans of the LEGO City Adventures TV-series." Ok, we will see. 2 Star of this set is "Bob" the fireman. The female police officer and the female crook remain nameless. This would be the first thing where normally you would get a report from the Union or the Gender representative. The set contains 3 bags, 3 instructions and a chasis. We are used to it, but I still want to point out that only 25-30% of the box is really needed.... And speaking of useless things: Yes I know, it is a playset for ages 6+. But really? Here are the other stars of this set (including 2 printed slopes!!) Lime Yellow is a very common colour for striping on fire trucks in Europe and Australia, not really in the US (beside the Chevrons at the back). Beside the printed slopes we also have a sticker sheet.. And dear kids: This is what Lego thinks is fire and water: 2 I must have missed a lot of things at school and the fire academy. Especially the fire looks very "duplo-ish". Lego really has better options for a fire... This is the female crook. Prisoner 50382. Its the same girl as in Set 60275 (Police Helicopter) where she as brownish pony-tail hair and tries to evade a helicopter with a jet ski. Not only she seems to have robbed somebody or something in a very obvious prisoner clothing. She just made 300 bugs and stole a trash bag. Not the bridest candle on the cake.... "What daya mean -trashbag?" Lets start with the "Crooks car" The "seat" consists of a handle bar. This is not only a comfy seat, this is very dangerous for the Minifigs backbone in case of an accident. The licence plates are stickers. But do you really think its a good idea to use your real licence plates if you are planning a crime? Yeah, I have done it! And earned 3 Stars! The car has a liitle nice trunk: And - it can hold the trashbag and the 300 bucks In overall I really like the design of the car: Somehow "FordMustanguish..." The only things I really dont like is the "seat" and the gaps around the tires: If you can see the street through your car, then you need a new car. Or a better seat... This is the female police officer with her motorbike. The bike looks indeed very fast. But it has nearly no emergency lights, just this: If you are cruising through Lego City and you have this view in your rear mirrors: you won't recognize this as a police vehicle. Very dangerous.... A lot of Lego Police Officers want their 60041 bikes back..... Next: Fire and/or Crime scene. Stickers again. At the side of the little transformator box there is a "Cat wanted"-Poster- but with a grey cat. A brown cat -like included would be a little funnier. (Hint: The gray cat can be found in 60320) Then there is this fire hydrant, which should be attached with the double sided pin. But you really dont need this... A hydant mystery! And finally there is the "Fire": I guess the idea is to hit it with the "Water shooter" and then it flips over: Flickr (Which means, that the fire isn't really extuingished, it just can't be seen anymore. A hidden fire! From a professional point of view this is very dangerous...) And here comes Bob. Its always very good to see a fire truck arriving and a firemen who first graps a remote... His helmet has a little quality problem: The lime colour is a little bit transparent, so that the black lining of the helmet shines through. The drone SUV chasis Drone landing pad. and again, the "Seat": A quick check reveaveled that at my work place the seats are black and have no dangerous bars in the back... The shooting mechanism of the drone: In a very non-scientific experiment the average range of the Drone is around 30cm excl. sliding on the table. So we all can be assured, that we will find this part very often under the sofa or in the dirt bag of a vacuum cleaner. But what really irritates me: The police bike, which has to do high speed chases through heavy traffic has only one tiny emergency light - the drone hase 4 large emergency lights all around - and mainly no traffic in the air to warn! The Fire Drone SUV, "Drone One": I like the blue fire extuinguisher as aredundacy. It seems that Lego FD doesn't trust HighTech 100%... Gaps again. grr. Mirror view I would have put the lights above the indicators. And two more blues in the fender at the empty space. Total Scene: "Dispatch from Drone One: Car vs. traffic lights, lights down, fire in a nearby transformator box, Drone is activated. Police in pursuit of the female driver. Send the Lego Lights and Energy and a tow truck." Alternativ ending No.1: While Bob is fighting fire with his old school CO² fire extuingisher Police is taking over the drone and chasing the female robber: Alternativ ending No 2.: Bob is catching the brown cat and selling it to the lady robber. ;-) The good: Nice designs of the car and the SUV. Lime Yellow as a new Collar Euro Style Fire Helmets The not so good Little - avoidable - Design flaws: Gaps, No Seats Retail price a little bit too high. Drones, Fire Trucks and helicopters shooting water. Yes, it is a 6+ set and should have "action" - but the backbone of the fire service in the whole world is a fire truck with some people (not only one), hoses and ladders like 60002 or 60280 which were great sets - for AFOL and kids. Lego should not totally forget that.
  19. Widogast the monster hunter has tracked Surts the fire demon to an abandoned church in a lost village. The village was abandoned when the Whispering Woods started expanding the forest border and the villagers could no longer fight the invasive plants. Surts however liked the quiet place, if only he didn't burn every traveler that camped inside the abandoned village. Widogast saw a notice about strange burned body's and started to investigate the old village. Finally he tracked down the fire demon and a fight is about to start. The fire demon awakens by Ids, on Flickr I made the figs earlier and you can check them out in this topic: [MOC] Fantasy figs of the Whispering Woods - LEGO Historic Themes - Eurobricks Forums Thanks for looking and comments and remarks are always welcome.
  20. Hello there, this time I would like to present you again a new vehicle, which I have built. Since last time the fire station has already found its way into the Lego city, today follows the first vehicle. It is a classic, american fire truck engine, as you know it from several movies. Very typical with the big bumper and the engine and pump control in the middle of the vehicle. I also made sure to build the whole thing in minifigure scale as much as possible. Also the minifigures find their place inside. As always, there is also a build video to go along with it. Feel free to have a look. Of course, there are again pictures with descriptions of the vehicle below. The fire truck with the typic red lights and the high cabin structure. Also nice to see is the middle part with the control panel for the pumps. From behind you can also see the signal lights for the back traffic. Hoses are transported on the roof. I hope you like the model. Let me know if you do .
  21. Wanted to make the mech a bit more unique build-wise while also bringing in multiple elements from the Climber Mech. Also, I feel like the Elemental mechs released this year would have been way better if they had each come with an extra limb to further the mix and match gimmick.

  23. Updated November 2, 2016 : New version here : > click there ! < Ford E-450 Ambulance by Rastko, sur Flickr Original post : Hello everybody ! As I said in my presentation, I like building everything with wheels. So today, I am going to present you my newest MOC. 24. Hello All, And here is the second upgrade to my town set, the fire station. Police station can be found here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=122523 So, once again the problem: (town sets don't really match the look of the new modular buildings) The plan! And the results: again from front From the back (this one I spent a bit more time on the interior as the fire station is the favorite of my son. And finally a zoom in on the living quarters: So there you go, one more left. Anyone else undertaking similar upgrades to their town sets?
  25. This is my try at making one of the new NZFS MAN fire trucks.
