This is my LEGO Ideas The Flintstones set proposal HERE I have over half the votes needed for LEGO to review it. Larger and more images HERE Beyond The Brick interview showing physical build HERE The car is attached to the stand / dirt road by a ball joint, so it can be positioned dynamically, and look like the weight of the ribs is tipping it. (The graphics on the Minifigures and other elements were added on top of the photos in Photoshop, Dino is a render composited in ) Thanks, Andy

Alright, so there will be a new animated Scooby-Doo theatrical film next year in 2020. Here are some updates on it. https://www.ctvnews.ca/entertainment/tracy-morgan-will-forte-linked-to-new-scooby-doo-film-1.4358910 https://variety.com/2019/film/news/zac-efron-amanda-seyfried-scooby-doo-fred-daphne-1203170485/ I feel that LEGO could bring back Scooby-Doo (potentially under a Hanna-Barbera evergreen theme) to coincide with this upcoming movie. What are your thoughts on this?

Finally I got my copy of the set after some mix up happened with shop@home. Here is my video review: THE GOOD: Good display value. Some interesting build techniques. Pretty close to source material. Wilma & Betty's alternate faces. No Stickers! THE BAD: A bit over priced. Barney didn't use short legs. The car while it's good but figures end up fully seated. Overall, the build is great, love the flintstone car. At NZD$129.99, it's a bit pricey considering the volume. Unless you need it on day 1, wait for 20% off when it is released in local retailers.

Hi there! Just want to recommend a MOC - Alternate build of official set 2136: The Flintstones. The idea of my LEGO Frame project comes from the situation that displaying an official set at home needs too much space. When a new set comes, the old set have to go. However, instead of putting the old set back to its box, would it be a good idea to reduce it into a photo frame and hang it on wall? Displaying a photo frame needs minimal space and one can keep it free from dust! For this MOC, you don't need any extra bricks but only an IKEA phtoo frame! Most of the original features are retained with some modifications such as, the vehicle is reduced to a bike; the palm is here just no coconut(?); the mail box, the sofa (shortened), the telephone, the lamp, the tv (you may choose the tranditional style or the plasma style), all are still there but the fireplace is gone I am sorry and the table becomes the cloud (which I like the most however) :) I hope you enjoy this MOC.
