  1. I show you my MOC of the Batwing from the Arkham Asylum Video game. This MOC has 429 pieces. Let me know what you think about this MOC! :) Tell me which one would you like to see next time or tell me what you want me to build! Special Thanks to Lucas / The Incinerator14 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/theincinerators) for the advice and his kindness! I credit Giulio Manuelli too (http://www.moc-pages.com/home.php/102785). He made an Arkham Asylum Batwing too but 4 years before mine. Although similar, I didn't copy his design. It's just a big coincidence but by respect, I credit him! :) The Display is highly inspired by the MOC of Outer Rim Emperor. 2. Hello everybody. I may use this idea to refresh the game: do you want a game in which every minifigure faces only the one from its own series (excluding ELF and SCARECROW which would obviously win 3 and 11) and then doing a final mashup for the new winner? This could speed up both this and any future game. Please vote in the poll. HELLO everybody! These are the 80 minifigures for the new game starting FEBRUARY 10th if there will be enough partecipants. Please vote in this poll to help me decide. Thanks!
  3. Hi Everybody, I want to show you my Instruction Tutorial, which shows, how you can build the Pipe Wrench from PC Game Half - Life Oppsosing Force:
  4. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what issue, or does anyone have a copy of the piece? I’ve been looking for a while and would love to play the alternate ending! https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_Quest_for_Makuta Photo of alternate ending piece here: http://bionicle-sell...nate_Ending.jpg Please message me if you know anything about the piece! 5. First of all, I'm not a videogame guy; I've never really played any video game, save for a few classic arcade games a couple of times. But, I am fascinated by many of the novel back stories and plots of numerous videogames, particularly those of a alternate historical basis. The three prominent videogame franchises that I think could make for some incredible movies are the Wolfenstein, BioShock, and Fallout games specifically. These three franchises have had been pondered upon by various film studios for film adaptations, but have currently been put on the back burner or shelved. One other franchise that I'd like to see adapted for film is Crimson Skies; but currently, it may not have much relevance now. So what cinematic videogame franchise adaptations are you anticipating and/or wish for? Discussion of movies focused generally on videogames and/or videogaming (Wreck-It Ralph and Ready Player One, for example) is also allowed by the way.
  6. Thanks guys! It was a nice game, not many partecipants, but that's it! Ahrrrrrr!
  7. This is a recreation of the robot character GLaDOS from the game 'Portal', using Technic and Mindstorms. Just to answer a question some of you may have: Why Mindstorms? Why not PF? Well for a start, I don't own that many PF motors (only got 2 medium motors and 1 XL motor), and secondly, I don't own any PF IR receivers or remotes. The mindstorms kit has its own IR sensor and remote, so I used that. Functions: 1. Head elevation controlled by EV3 large motor 2. Head rotation controlled by EV3 medium motor 3. Body elevation controlled by EV3 large motor 4. Body rotation controlled by EV3 medium motor These may not be very many functions, but they allow for most of GLaDOS's movement seen in the actual game. The range of movement is quite reasonable. Regarding aesthetics, I don't own a lot of LEGO pieces, so the model may look a bit incomplete or strange in some places. But I think I did an OK job with what I had to work with, especially the head. Some more images: Video: More info about the robot can be found here: https://www.us.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/community/robot?projectid=d1208d08-db8f-421c-9aa7-5f618912d7b0
  8. Today is the 20th anniversary of LEGO's first video game, LEGO Island! I've been built the Island in real life in honor of this anniversary as well as to honor Wes Jenkin's legacy, who sadly passed away last week. Here is an introduction video I did of the Island: I also modeled all the buildings in Stud.io so that you can download and view them in 3D and easily export them into Bricklink wishlists if you want to build your own Island! Here's a sampling of the Information Center. If that piques your interest, you can CLICK HERE to see the rest of the buildings! To download the Stud.io files CLICK HERE!

Both situations can appear to be an attempt to gain information or cause influence that would be unfair to the remaining living players. Whether you are still playing or have already died, if you are contacted inappropriately, please notify the hosts immediately. Violation of this rule will result in instant mod-kill, taking away of your Oscar, and bad press. You may not edit your posts. Editing your post will result in a 2-vote penalty. All EB staff can see ALL edits. This is your only warning. You must post in every Day Thread. Failure to do so will result in a 1-vote penalty at the start of the next day. Characters were created separately from roles being assigned, so the type of expression/headgear/tone/clothing/etc has nothing to do with what team a character is on. Placement of a character within a photo does not indicate what team the character is on. Some figures have dual-sided heads and the heads might be turned around for photos if the scene warrants it. 15. GAME OVER! ELF WON! THANKS EVERYBODY FOR PLAYING! But wait... there's more... Are you in? :D
  16. So recently I thought it would be fun to have a Jeopardy game where all the questions were AFOL and online Lego community centric. I did some looking around for ways to build a game online, and ended up making one on a site called factile. I tried to keep a mix between easy and hard questions, so If anyone wants to give the game a try, you can find it here.

  20. If you haven't heard, a new game on LEGO.com showed up called "Possession". Me being a completionist, while also failing horribly at online games has created a bit of a dilemma for me. How do I get all the collectibles and what do they do???
  21. Hi, I have been removing lots of land in Lego worlds (including water and clouds) and have came into a problem where some black bricks simply will not delete. I have tried the following methods: Remove Terrain tool - left click Remove Terrain Tool - right and left click (this keeps the red delete cube from moving about) Smooth terrain- this just adds more undeletable black bricks Lower terrain - this just adds even more undeletable bricks The brick building tool cannot delete them because it can only delete bricks that you have placed from the brick pallette here is a screen shot of the problem: Large Picture:http://bricksafe.com...undeletable.png Any ideas how I can delete it, it looks ugly sticking up when everything else is prefectly smooth. The floating floor area is also undeletable. Edit: I could share the world file so you can actually go into it and try and delete the bricks. Regards, Snipe
  22. Are any Sonic fans exited for what the 25th anniversary will bring? Here we'll talk about whatever the game will be (as of now I don't know), and Sonic related things that occur in 2016/2017, like the Sonic shoes (which should be really cool!) So the 25th anniversary game will most likely be revealed at the SDCC (San Diego Comic Con), which is tomorrow! (right now anyway) I myself won't be going, but I'll definitely be watching the stream on that day or later if I miss it. You can also talk about your thoughts on Sonic, and how the 25th anniversary could affect that. But that's all in due time

  24. In memory of Benua Sokal IMG_20220322_164231 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr I wanted to publish this MOC on the day of the release of Stberia: The World Before, but... well, it's better later than never. MOC consists not only of Locomotive itself, but also of rails, train platform with wind-up station and Yukols' Winch which was used by Kate to pull the train into the cave in the second game. IMG_20220321_102639 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr The train itself has three important features. First - it tries to look as close as possible to the one from the game. IMG_20220322_211220 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_103140 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Second - it really IS a clockwork train. It has two pull-back motors in the rear section and an intricate mechanism, which consists of gearing up and flywheel so the spring can unwind slowly and clutch, so you can wind-up spring with no need to drive wheels backwards Trainsmission by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr The lever in the cabin engages the clutch and the lever above the right bumper locks and unlocks pullback motors' driveshaft IMG_20220321_103034 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Third - it has a linear actuator on the inside which pushes out what should be a steam generator exhaust as it was seen in the second game. To drive the actuator you have an axle which can only be driven with a special voralberg's key IMG_20220321_103556 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_102654 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr IMG_20220321_103604 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Stand on the platform has an axle which winds up the train. To push it into the pull-backs' shaft you turn the lever on the left of the stand IMG_20220321_103322 by SkyNet2@1, on Flickr Finally, the winch is just a nice looking winch Here is the video: I hope, you liked this train and I hope you like the game of Syberia
