Halloween House on LEGO Ideas I am very excited to present this Halloween house. Although it is large, I tried to control the volume of pieces. There are 2700 pieces and the interior is fully decorated. I wanted architecture in the tradition of large Victorian houses, those that Stephen King describes so well in his novels. The house is run down and done and I wanted to keep it looking realistic and a little dirty. Dimensions Height = 15.0" (38 cm) Lengh : 21.0" (53 cm) Width : 11.6" (29.4 cm)

Hello, It´s been a while since I posted something... This is the statuette of Cthulhu from the short story "The Call of Cthulhu" from H.P.Lovecraft. It´s 20cm high just like in the story and it consists of 940 parts ...probably not just like in the story Happy Halloween!

The project is 2632 pieces. I paid particular attention to the structure of the walls and the harmony of the whole. I am very happy with the result, and I think this project will be the essential set for your collection. I believe it would be a great display piece. The house can be exhibited under 360°. The whole thing is quite large and the main base provides great construction stability. I provided great accessibility because everything is modular. I took a lot of care when designing the interior. Our witch will be able to cook, take care of animals, find new recipes to heal those who wish. Outside, the house is surrounded by a waterfall for fishing, a small pond to fetch fresh water. On the other side, a tree brings a little freshness and allows you to grow pumpkins. From time to time, and to be able to remain calm, our witch cuts a pumpkin to ward off curious people. Usually it is in autumn. Some say it is the origin of Halloween celebrations. You could as well integrate this set into your medieval dioramas, with the blacksmith, or your castle. It would also fit well in a Heroic fantasy diorama. More details & support

Using the same bricks stuck in my wall as last year's Christmas stocking hangers, I put up some spooky decorations this year. Literally, spooky: I wanted to do something fun to decorate the entryway near our stairs that was simple, but also sturdy and flat (people have to walk up and down these stairs, you know). My family got to help out which also made it fun. Happy Halloween! Edit: here's another of decorations for the summer (2016, actually) that I just realized I never posted. I know I have individuals of each letter somewhere, but I've switched phones since then and things got backed up to different accounts. If I can find them, I'll pull this and put them in their own thread. I also did some flowers for spring, but I have no idea where those ended up (a pity, they were really good IMO). (S: barbecue, U: picnic w/skunk, M: camping, M: r&r, E: diving, R: windsurfing)

It’s Halloween at the Count’s, and you know what that means… Party time! All the Count’s friends really enjoy the party, but the villagers (as usual) think there is too much noise and revelry and they weren’t invited (again)! So while the Count and his guests enjoy the evening, the villagers storm the castle! Other people of the village are thought they that when the word was passed that all villagers were going to storm the castle, they would put on a little show for all passing villagers. Off in the distance the witches are cooking something up (who knows what?) to celebrate Halloween. Over at the cemetery, the ghosts are meeting, the undead are rising and the Halloween dancers are doing the Thriller Dance. Each year I try to improve it. This year I put everything (including the castle) on modified MILs modules. This makes it easier to run the wiring for the LEDs and just generally contains the whole scene better. Also this year I enlarged the cemetery (a little) and connected it to the main scene. I hope you like it, and Boo! Andy D

Greetings fellow Mortals! Halloween comes creepin around the Corner and all those Monsters,Creeps,Ghosts and Ghouls are coming from the Underworld in our World to feast on tasty Treats, scare Mortals for Fun and Party like the rotten Corpses from a thrilling 1983s Music Video. Most of them are okay with floating, crawling or lumping all the Way,but some undead Folks prefer a more comfortable Mode of Transportation. The mysterious Gentleman we see here in the Driving Seat obviously prefers a powerfull and somewhat monstrous Chariot with a huge blown Engine that might even wake up the Dead. The Gearshifter has a mysterious Ruby embedded (i bet it just hides the NOS Button) and on the back a huge and impressive Coffin is carried around. Probably just his Unmentionables inside but who knows....whoooo! IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN AND WITH HALLOWEEN AROUND THE CORNER I WANTED TO HONOR THESE MONSTER MEMORIALS: 15TH: This year marks the 15th year since the Studios monster subtheme (called Scary Thriller and even Scary Monsters) made its debut, introducing Universal-style monsters. Although TLC had licenses on Universal Studios properties such as Jurassic Park and Steven Spielberg's name, one is led to believe that they did not have the Universal Studios Monsters license or, at least, were granted permission to make sets resembling this license. There were four sets and even at times these sets mixed monsters from other movies (like the 2017 edition of The Mummy with Tom Cruise). The main monsters represented were a Vampire, Werewolf, Frankenstein, and The Mummy, although these characters were more or less designed to be costumed actors on film sets. The sets, in many ways, closely resembled the Universal Studios monster films. Other monster mashups included a modified version of Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde as the Scientist in the Frankenstein set, the ghost costume and a female actress in the same set (I am guessing an homage to Phantom of the Opera) and The Hunchback in the Vampire set. Although not directly stated by his name, Van Helsing makes an appearance too in the Vampire set. 5th: This year marks the 5th year since the Monster Fighters line was released. Centered around the fictional steampunk culture, here, a gang of monster hunters must stop Lord Vampyre from eclipsing the sun forever. Many of the sets were different from actual sets in the movies but at times, especially with the Vampyre's castle, they had some similarities. Given the design of the vehicles one must wonder if the time period wasn't meant to be depression-era, especially since many monster movies were released around this time. The sets, in some ways like the Werewolf set, reused previous ideas from the original line. However, some sets did indeed create new editions of older sets and introduce new monster properties from which they were derived. I suggest the following: * Lord Vampyre's Castle - Dracula * Frankenstein - Frankenstein * The Mummy - A chariot, * Werewolf - The Wolf Man * Sea Creature - Creature from the Black Lagoon * Vampire Hearse / Coffin Car - Munsters Coach & Dragula. The driver had been called Renfield, Dracula's assistant, in the preliminary box displays, as well as Dracula being used for Dracula's Castle. * Vampire's Bride - A spin-off of Bride of Frankenstein mixed with Elvira * Haunted House - Munsters (the creator of the set was wearing a Munsters shirt during the reveal for this set) and some Addams Family influence since there was a Frankenstein's monster butler * The Zombies - White Zombie (it was supposed to feature the VoodDoo doctor) and of course was, after all, a zombie wedding in a graveyard * Ghost Train - I am guessing a very loose idea from the 1941 film by the same name * Spooky Boy & Spooky Girl - Although they came later, it's worth noting Spooky Boy is more like Pugsly Addams while Spooky Girl, which you would think is Wednesday Addams, reminded me more of Lydia from Beetlejuice due to her schoolgirl outfit * Tiger Woman - close to the 1944 film by the same name * Mr Good/Evil - A spinoff from Dr Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde * Grandfather clock - Any number of horror films, though Disney's Haunted Mansion ride stands out for me * The Fly/Scientist - obvious * Venus Flytraps (Scooby doo) - Little Shop of Horrors * Graveyard / Witch scenes - Wizard of Oz, Walking Dead * Most zombies are likely influenced by Walking Dead and the rise of the zombie movie craze around that time * One can't help to think if Mad Monster Party and Groovie Ghoulies helped to influence any of these sets and CMFs * Frankenrocker - I know the Beetlejuice show done this at Universal Studios Orlando but I can only find the frankenstein monster from Munsters playing the guitar Almost all of these comparisons to all the Monster properties mentioned are based on my observation since the only time we knew of TLC acknowledging their relation to existing monster movies was at an event where recording was prohibited during an advance presentation of the line.

MUAHAHA! It's the spookiest time of the year, and time to show you my new LDD creation! And it's a halloween themed MOC, no less, so, without any further ado, let's take a stroll through the Saint Modular's Cemetary... This place is modular, but not Detective Office, or Parisian Restaurant Modular, but instead, every grave with it's parcel (and inhabitant ), is a module on it's own, connected via technic pins, so is the fencing and the gate. Now, St Modular's seems to be a quiet, somber place of rest for departed minifigs, but... On Halloween Night, right after clock strikes midnight, all hell breaks loose, and the graveyard gets haunted by popculture references, THE HORROR! When the night falls, and the full moon shines in all it's glory, the sky get's littered with all things paranormal. Ghosts racing through the night, flying saucers are here in search of inteligent life forms (good luck with that... ), and werewolf calls his pack on a hunt. Also, It beats me how a cursed sarcophagus with it's wrapped up owner got it's way here from Egypt, but whatever! Here we have, straight outta Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman, and his trusty steed, rearing triumphally. But who's that mysterious fellow in black clothes and mask that every self proclaimed computer hacker seems to wear nowadays? Yup, It's Agent Smith Elrond V! And what does V stands for? Very cool MOC, obviously. And Vendetta. Moving on! There's a little Dance party here, with King of Pop Himself, immortalized as a minifig. Chucky, put down that knife, you sexy doll you, just look at that charming smile... Also, Slenderman's here. And a generic evil Mecha, don't mind him, he's aquiring his target, ahem, I mean having a good time... One, two, Freddy's coming for you... Nah, he's just hiding behind the grave, sneaky bastard... Right at the front Cthulhu would like to have a swim, but Sadako/Samara won't let him in her well... What a Halloween MOC would be without vampires? Unfortunately, Dracula, Count Orlok, Lestat and Count von Count couldn't come to the party, so we had to bring this guy, Edward Cullen. Darth Vader was so annoyed that he force-choked mr. Sparkly McStupidface. Damn, Pattison sure has tough luck, when it comes to dying at a graveyard, first You-Know-Who, and now another dark lord have killed him... But Wait, What's that green gooey stuff under the crypt's wall? Oh, these are just Xenomorph Eggs, But what is it? A young Yautja Warrior is trying to lay his hands on them... Watch out Hunter, there's an Alien queen, ready to defend her offspring, or rather incubating facehuggers... Despite this all happening, a plucky gravedigger on his nightshift seems to be not aware of the paranormal activity in his workplace. Well, you can see in his face he has some HAUNTING suspicion, that something EERIE is going on, but that was only autumn wind HOWLING, and giving him the CREEPS. Ok, I'll stop here this pun is so DREADful, it's SCARY... And, that's quite it, soon I'll upload the .lxf so you can dl it and admire it in it's whole glory. Happy Halloween Everybody! Also, there's one hidden character, did you spot Waldo? If so, post in comments!

There's some time left until Halloween, but the Pumpkin Diner is open all year round. So, if you want to eat somewhere special in Heartlake City, this is your place to go. Of course, the atmosphere is best around Halloween when they decorate the diner a bit spookier than normal and their famous Halloween parties take place. Take a look at some of the costumes at this year's party: The roof and the front of the building are separately removable for better access and there are 5 light bricks which can be switched on at the back of the diner. It was built for the FriendsBricks Halloween Building Challenge. I hope you like it. C&C welcome.

Halloween is round the corner. Seasonal sets are always widely received, regardless of whether you celebrate it or not. This is the first seasonal vignette released in Singapore. As such, queues were long and stocks always ran out within 2 hours of restocking. Vignettes seem to be more popular than the brick built animal seasonal sets, like the 40090 Halloween Bat. Interesting point to note, all of the seasonal vignettes do not introduce new colours for existing moulds, or new prints for minifigures. Nevertheless, they always include semi rare parts, like the olive green stems as well as offer great re- use of minifig parts, like this pirate torso. Name: 40122 Trick or Treat Halloween Set Theme: Seasonal/ Exclusive Year: 2015 Pieces: 133 Minifigs: 2 minifigures Price: £8.49/ $9.99/ 18.90 SGD Resources: Brickset, Bricklink Rebrickable Inventory: http://brickset.com/...2-1/rebrickable LEGO Official Shop@Home Description Dress up as a witch for a Trick or Treat fright night! Role-play an eerie Halloween scene with this spooky LEGO® Trick or Treat set! Dress up the girl minifigure as a witch, complete with pointy hat and broom, and take a bucket for the treats you hope to receive. Tiptoe past the bat perched on top of the dead tree to the doorstep of the haunted house. Watch out for the big spider and the tombstone on the front porch and be prepared for a big fright when a skeleton answers the door! Includes 2 minifigures with assorted accessories: a female and a skeleton. Includes 2 minifigures with assorted accessories: a female and a skeleton Features a buildable haunted house entrance scene including an opening door, tombstone, plus assorted elements including a spider, pumpkins and sickly green plants Also includes a dead tree with a bat and pumpkin elements Role-play a spooky Halloween scene! Creep past the bat in the dead tree Get a fright when a skeleton answers the door! A perfect Halloween gift for LEGO® lovers Measures over 3” (8cm) high, 2” (6cm) wide and 2” (6cm) deep Image of original box: It was deboxed and flattened on the spot and put in my file. As a young AFOL, I couldn't bring myself to lug LEGO boxes to college, even for a short 1 hour. I enjoyed the various role play scenes on the back of the box. The lack of a theme logo like "Limited edition 2015" may suggest it may make a comeback next year. Purely my own speculation. After all, sets like Birthday Table Decoration had an extremely short shelf life, but on S@H, it says it is in production. Last year's halloween bat made a comeback this year, in my local stores. Front: Back: Random page of instructions: Here are the sealed bags. Eyes lit up upon earth green plates.. haven't had those in my collection since Winter Village Post Office.. Everything laid out. This is quite therapeutic. Some parts of interest My first 65 2 x 1 x 2 slope. Surprise find was the dark orange brick with stud on side. Didn't think they'll include that colour in a halloween theme set.. The olive green stem is solid, for those who didn't know. Had always thought they were rubbery. One of those nice elements you can't help but wish they included more. Finished build. The roof looks smoother than expected, but the tip is a bit off. The centre should have had another 1 x 2 plate before putting the double slope. But what's LEGO for, if you don't customise things. The transparent brick and plates were used nicely. This is a good time I seen it being used, other than stained glass windows. *cough* Pet Shop *cough* I love the miniature pumpkins. Always nice to have plain minifig heads. Small tree build is beautiful. 4 x 3 leaves simple and elegantly placed. If they had the bigger leaves instead, it would look out of proportion. Spare parts. They gave extra bones. Pleasant surprise. After all, this is my first skeleton since 1997.. "Trick or treat" Old and new skeleton..from 1997 Witch's Magic Manor. I like the new torso mould. Now the arms are posable. The old hands were great for play though. Used to connect 2 arms together and treat him like a gorilla, since they swing freely. Now I just take pictures. Size comparison The height seems to be standardised for vignettes. Around 8 studs tall. Personal thoughts: At first I had no intention of getting the halloween or thanksgiving sets. Only wanted the 2 christmas ones. However after looking through the parts list.. price per part was pretty good, and I needed something small to practice for Reviewer's Academy. Previous submission hasn't been graded, so I posted this here. I love the colour combination of purple and black as the primary colours. Much better than orange and black, which tends to be overused around this season. As a town builder, this is a great set for inspiration on how to beautify your door fronts. Summary Review: Playability: 7/10 (Lots of knock knock jokes) Design: 7/10 (Roof is a little off, but transparent colours used to great effect) Parts: 8/10 (They were great, but none exclusive, and no printed tiles) Minifigures: 8/10 (Detailed back printing, no dual face print, but nice hat) Price: 8/10 (Great price per part, not the best. But the best always comes in big sets..) Overall: 8/10 (A solid affordable set)

HALLOWEEN IS AROUND THE CORNER... AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? SPOOKY FUN FOR EVERYONE!!! Over the years I have taken my time to diligently archive many of the LEGO Halloween & Monster sets ever released. I have also made 2 videos: one outlining the history of Halloween sets released by TLC and another counting down the top 10 creepiest, spookiest, scariest, sets. Both videos come with bonus content. I understand the Halloween history one speeds too fast. If it gains traction I'll upload a slower version. You may access these cool videos and sites through the links found in my signature below. Please enjoy them and have a Happy Halloween!
