Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-87788/_TLG_/57-chevy-matchbox-version It is a studless model in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style, and it is an update of my earlier design, because some new parts have become available since the first release which was in 2021, therefore I was able to build a cleaner, less pixelated flame decoration. The use of stickers is minimized to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. There are some space before the rear seats too, but it is enough only for a minifigure without legs Thanks for visiting, _TLG_ '57 Chevy (update 2024) - INSTRUCTIONS 1 by László Torma, on Flickr '57 Chevy (update 2024) - INSTRUCTIONS 2 by László Torma, on Flickr

Hello! Here's my MOC RC Car with GearBox. I picked a roadster body since it's light and doesn't need many parts. This keeps the chassis fast, maneuverable, and the gearbox working smoothly. It's a rear-wheel drive car. Like in my other MOCs (https://reb.li/m/186485, https://reb.li/m/186574), I didn’t focus on detailing non-functional stuff like fake engines or steering. The main goal is functionality, playability, and reliability. Free instruction: https://reb.li/m/190094 . A short video with the bilding and testing of the gearbox and the entire model. https://youtu.be/8Zy2hgXiuh4 The model uses 4 PU LEGO L-motors: 2 paired motors to drive the wheels, 1 for shifting gears, 1 for steering. It uses a standard PU LEGO Hub. Since there's no clutch, the model needs to be under 1.5 kg for the gearbox to work properly while moving (my MOC is about 1.2 kg). This build isn't perfect and might have its quirks, but it works great if you stick to the recommended specs. Gearbox details: 1st gear: 5/9 (9 motor turns in give 5 turns out), 2nd gear: 1/1 (5 motor turns in give 5 turns out), 3rd gear: 5/3 (3 motor turns in give 5 turns out) This gives gear ratios of 0.56, 1.00, and 1.67. The speed difference between 1st and 3rd gear is three times. So, it can move pretty fast on flat surfaces, and the low gear has enough power for any incline with good traction. Low gears are also great for slow, precise maneuvers. The suspension is quite stiff since it has low ground clearance, meant for smooth surfaces. The front wheel camber and toe are set for max maneuverability and easy turning. The turning radius is small, and the different angles for inner and outer front wheels make sense. The rear axle and suspension are complex but reliable. No clutch means you shouldn't shift gears while reversing under heavy loads. It's just how it's designed. You control the model using the Controlz app on your smartphone, which is free on the AppStore and GooglePlay. There are detailed step-by-step instructions for setting up the control profile. Thank you for your attention! I'd be happy to answer your questions, share details about this MOC, and discuss the specifics of how the LEGO gearbox works while the model is moving. And sorry for the many pictures and renders.

Ninjas in tricked out Hotrods? Why not? This wild Ride belongs to the Ninja with the Titanium (and everything else) Heart,Zane. The loud Pipes and the growling Engine might not be very stealthy, but this hotrodded Van is definitely cool like a Ninja. Ninjago-In-ZANE-Van #2 Ninjago-In-ZANE-Van #1 I tried to incorporate some notable Parts from Zanes Bike out of the recent S.O.G. Ninjago Sets and thought about how a mean Custom Car for Zane would look. Well, the Renderings show pretty much how the final Model will look. So,what do you think of it?

This dieselpunkish, heavily stanced hotrod is based on a 1950 GMC COE truck. Since you won't sell an american car without cupholders, this beast comes with two! GMC Hotrod Truck GMC Hotrod Truck GMC Hotrod Truck

Homer's Highschool Hotrod is a late 60's musclecar with details from many makes and models from that era. I just wanted to create an attractive hotrod. ^ Remember the fenderbender? Well, Homer asked me to help him fix the dents in his left frontwing, and you know, one thing led to another.... ^ variation on taillighttreatment and engine intakes ^ The Man and his car ^ The Wife and her purse ^ Are you saying that this sucker is nuclear??

Now this one was challenging: G1 HOT ROD I refuse to call him "Hot Rodimus"... HOT ROD SIDE VIEW It's funny that with a motto of "My actions speak louder than my words.", the first thing of note he did on screen was inadvertently offing Optimus Prime... HOT ROD BACK VIEW I used the yellow hinge tops as the mini exhausts he had on the back in car mode. The piece in the middle, with the stud is his gun. Clips on to the back of the torso. BACK WHEEL Yup, he does have back wheels under the exhausts. ROBOT MODE The helmet is from the Star Wars Skyhopper pilot. If there was an aviator helmet in red, I could've given him a visor. Oh well... ROBOT MODE ANGLE He's quite articulate and the exhaust pipes have enough friction not to flop around. ROBOT MODE BACK VIEW The clip just above the bum is where the gun clips in alt mode. ROBOT MODE And a parting robot mode shot. Thank you for watching.

It can be built either with fixed doors, or with openable doors. I personally prefer the fixed door version (Speed Champions style) as it is more sturdy and there are no half plate thick gaps below the doors. I minimized the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. Since i got my hands on this beautiful quarter dome piece i knew that sometime i was going to use it in a little Volksrod but everytime i was trying to build the rest i couldn't get past the cabin section! Then out of nowhere, Calin https://www.flickr.com/photos/_tiler/ posts his beautiful Volksrod https://www.flickr.c...ler/24838347625 and without knowing it he solves my riddle!! That chair is exactly what i needed! The rest you can see it! Just because it wasn't very time consuming, there are some instructions...

My latest build matches my passion for motoring culture: it's the MOONEYES headquarters located in Santa Fe Springs, California. MOONEYES was founded by Dean Moon in 1950, the Santa Fe Springs-based hot rod shop was originally titled Moon Speed Equipment. The Moon crew was a prominent group of go-fast pioneers through the ‘50s and ‘60s, working hand in hand with the likes of legends such as Carroll Shelby — in fact, the first AC Cobra was constructed in the Moon garage. Inspired by the Dean Moon’s history I've recreated the MOON HQ, both the interior and the exterior of the building. In the garage there’re a lot of tools: a roller cabinet, a workbench, the pendant lights, a sink, the column drill press and a lot more. Everything in bright yellow of course. Remarkable the American flag hanged on the wall and the electrical outlets and conduits. What about the surfboard displayed on the wall? The exterior is enjoyable and it features many details. The two rolling shutters and the electricity poles are the ones I prefer. To complete the work I've built the well known and famous MOON pick-up, a ’68 Ford F100, and a Hot Rod based on a ’32 Ford model B. More info and pictures on my flickr. Thanks for stopping by.

It`s already been a Month since i purchased the Catcycle Chase Set from the TLBM. I like it for the Minifigs, but i`ve never been a Motorcycle Fan (i prefer Hotrods, Lowriders, Muscle Cars,Customs or Classics in general). Sure, the usage of that printed Slope is outstanding, one of the big Surprises because usually TLC uses Stickers. Anyways,i was just thinking "what if Catwoman had a Car,and what would suit her?" I think a Hotrod fits her perfectly, they are small but quick and powerful and they turn your Head around,,,rawww! May i present you Catwoman`s "Nine Livez" (yeah,i know that Name is worn out and somewhat corny but it fits. TLBM-Nine Livez-1 TLBM-Nine Livez-2 TLBM-Nine Livez-3 I used the Hotrod from the Speed Champions Set as a Base and modified the Hell out of it. Special Parts like the 4 printed halfround Tiles, the printed 2x2 Slope, the trans purple round Tiles and the purple Rims from the Bike will be reused. The Car will be mostly black but with a few purple Bits build in (motly ones i already have or are easy to get). Windshield and rear window will be trans yellow (luckily i still have a trans yellow 1x4 from the classic Space Age). I also will use Parts from last Year`s Mighty Micro, that black pointy 1x2 Roofslope with printed Cat Eyes and the Tail (i think i have a second one somewhere....) for the Exhaust Pipes or...."Tail Pipes" :D So,what do you think of my Idea?

Hi guys. I did this T-bucket just for fun, I also pay homage to one of my favorite movies, can you guess what is? The white tires were hand-painted by me with acrylic paint and a small brush.

^ Traditional 1929 Ford Model A-V8 hotrod on 1932 Ford deucerails build circa 1959, featuring fullhouse blown Mercury flathead with open headers, dual exhaust for streetuse, red tuck'n'roll vinyl upholstery, steelwheels painted red, skinny bias ply Firestone tyres up front, Firestone dirtrackers in the rear, Pontiac taillights, chopped windshield, clubplaque hanging from the spreaderbar. ;) ^ Loosly based on this car. ^ I got inspired by the cab-piece that came with the icecreamtruck or RV-camping and canoeingset. I thought that would be the perfect Ford Model A rearend: ^ I build it with a regular red interior, but really want it with ^this^ dark red to give it a more authentic look... I'm just missing a vital piece... And just for fun: ^ Meet Woody. The happy new owner of a hip model A-V8 hotrod. :) ^ Just to compare it with the Charger But to really appreciate this hotrod you've gotta listen to this Jack Baymoore recording: A-V8 Boogie! And please, play loud... ;)

EDIT!!! I've made some major improvements on the car to capture the typical look of a '69 Charger even better. Hope to find the time to take some pics soon. So stay tuned!!! ...or just some other 69 Charger that looks like the Death Proof musclecar, because the interior is way too nice for Stuntman Mike. ;) ^ Stuntman Mike. Looking cool, waiting for some chicks in a white Challenger...

Believe it or not, hotrods based on old wild west stagecoaches or horse drawn hearses were a thing. The Stagefright by Jack Keef is quite famous and even used an original 19th century coach. Hotrods are loved and enjoyed everywhere, even the Wizarding World isn´t save any more. Gellert Grindelwald himself wished for a stunning and wild ride, so here he has it now. His old black stagecoach grew fat tires and a huge V8 with an attitude. V-LV-52A Here is the latest in my 6 wides. This time I bring you a 32 ford, I may revisit this one for an upscaling or modify this one so that I can include an operational rumble seat. You can find my LXF File over at my Mocpages (you may have to refresh a few times to get the page to load as Mocpages seem to be still experiencing some technical issues).

^ Here's my version of the Monster Fighters Vampyre Hearse... Although I find the original set extremely cool (It IS the one set that got me into lego again since 25 years) but felt it was a bit too grotesk for me. It now has a lot of modifications like: A bigger but more subtle engine; It's lower; The body is given more mass; a different frontend; a longer wheelbase; exaust in the back (one bad thing about the original car was a poorly connected sidepipe); Chopped top; etc. You'll have to set it next to an original set to really appreciate the modifications. Only bad thing is, It's still too big for my haunted house and the other modular or town buildings...

^ Here's my interpretation of the 1966 Batmobile. As you see the contrasting color is limegreen. That's because of my lack of new bricks in red. Maybe I'll change the green to a dark red in the future, but for now the green is cool enough for me. ;) ^ The car is based on the MonsterFighters Hearse. I used that headlight treatment, minifig placement, and overall build-up as a base and went from there. Made it longer, lower, and added some more Batmobile characteristics. I've tried to make it meaner and leaner, lower and slower. Kind of a hotrod rod/custom attitude. Hope you'll like it. So, there you have it. My first official MOC, in my first official Forum-post. (besides my introduction ;) Feel free to comment and critisise.

Kinda disappointed by the non-compatibility of the two Monsterfighters sets 'vampyre hearse' and 'haunted house', I build the house a bit larger and now the hearse a bit smaller. The hearse had allready been modded to my own taste, but now was the time to build a smaller version for my house. First time I ever tried and build a 7-stud wide car. And man, that comes with problems... It took me quite a while but I think I did okay. I used snot techniques, for instance the front-end and the windscreen. Most of the rest is a basic traditional Lego build. Oh, and it is still minifig-friendly. It contains a zombie-chaufeur and a vampyre-filled coffin! ^ Figuring out how to narrow the wheelspacing was quite a challenge. It is now hold on by a single row of 4 studs and two 2x2 jumperplates. ^ As compared to my 'original' hearse... ^ The new version has the coffin sticking out a bit in the back, for a more grotesque view Well, it does add a little bit of drama ofcourse... ^ 7-studs vs 8-studs ^ The reason for schrinking the hearse: My Modified Haunted House. Both look way better together as well as on their own.

MEANWHILE... In Gotham City... OOPS!!! I just noticed the links to my project stopped working after Lego CUUSOO changed to Lego Ideas. Man that's a bunch of time I've lost collecting supporters. So, I've fixed the problem! Click HERE! So if you like my project, please follow the link and give it your support. The project is doing great, but still needs a lot of votes! I'm happy to anounce that I consider my Batmobile (dis)playset finished and that it's aproved on Cuusoo/Lego-ideas. If you like you can vote for it on Cuusoo by clicking right HERE! I present to you 'The Cartboard Crusaders' A random 1966 Batmanscene in GothamCity invcluding the Batmobile, to Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television series that's coming up... Description: The car is relatively small with it's 7 stud wide build-up, yet big enough to hold 2 minifigures. Those figures can be placed and removed without taking off any part. I build this car with loads of playfeatures the original car also had: Atomic Turbine Engine, Bat-Radar, Rocketlaunchers, opening decklid to reveal the Mobile Crime Computer, Bat-shutes, Chainslicer in the nose, as well as a Bat-a-Ram, Aluminum dashboards, and last but not least, the Bat-Phone. Many have followed the Batmobile here on Eurobricks but haven't seen the newly finished display scenery. So here goes: The backdrop. (a short story) I picked a scene I instantly remember when reminiscing about the show: Batman and Robin walking the walls vertical yet very horizontal, in kind of a creepy very close together choreographed manner... But that's what made the show so fun to watch. Always a citizen in an open window. This time it's the beautifull Catwoman. Or is it... It happens to be a mannequin disguised as Catwoman to lure our Caped Crusaders into the Jokers trap. The Joker is standing on top of the building ready to cut the line... Because of this fake building (in this MOC, and in the tv series) I gave this project the name: 'Cartboard Crusaders'. So here it is. The one and only Batmobile. Let's take a look at some of the details... I've tried to cram as much in as possible: But I think this is the best part: It's fits two minifigs side by side which can be taken out of and put back in without taking off any part of the car. And I think the 7 stud wide size is perfect for minifig/city/town/modular-scale. Now all you have to do is VOTE on cuusoo, because you know you want it to be available in an official exclusive collectorsbox! Thanks in advance. And if you don't..? Well, Look what's bound to happen to mr. Joker... Please make a childhooddream come true and vote for my Batmobile HERE!

I've added new foto's of my Ghostbusters headquarters addition! (11-3-2014) I've made some alterations to the hearse. Mostly on the tailfin area. The red from the fins isn't touching the rearlights anymore. Also the equipment on the roof is slightly different. It sort of 'belongs' ther now as opposed to be just an 'add-on' like before. I've also made it structurally better. (see post #2)
