  1. Escape from the Imperial Trading Post On just another day in the Caribbean Steve, the Merchant, arrived at the Imperial Trading Post on his trusty Cutter sailing for profit and adventure. Soon after disembarking his vessel, Blue Coats of the Imperial Soldiers raided the Imperial Guard’s Trading Post. In the Chaos of the attack his ship was seized by the enemy. Wishing to avoid becoming a prisoner of the attacking Blue Coats, and with no other means of escape, Steve decided to accompany a few members of Captain Red Beard’s crew, as they scaled the cliffs down to a waiting Dingy bound for the Skull’s Eye Schooner. 2. After a looong time, I finally finished it! This is the Thunderwasp (from Thrawn. Apologies if it does not look like it) which measures about 5/6 the length of the SSD Executor. Size comparison The bridge The underside And finally the simple interior.( Side panels openable but LDD glitched) Pls let me know if any improvements can be made!
  3. Ep1 Ep2 Ep3 Ep4 Most of the Imperial troops are near the Generator, as well the rebels. Our squad just reached the sector with a little difficulty. Shock Trooper - We need to find a way bypass this lake. The good news, we can see the shield generator from here. TG-0222 - Yes finally we're so close to the objective. BN-0303 - Sir, I receive an incoming message. the enemy has reached the generator and it activated the security systems. So our troops need to find a base and switch off the force field.
  4. HMS Naval Cutter "Barracuda" of the Corrington Navy Imperial Cutter (IC) The HMS "Barracuda was built at the start of the Juniper War in 607 AE. It was crafted completely out of wood from the Juniper Province as a sign of Corrington's ownership on the land. In the terrible conflict that ensued this little ship was to be a most notable annoyance to the enemies of Corrington. It's small size and fast speed allowed the Corrington Marines to perform several blitz attacks on unsuspecting seaport towns and ships, especially when painted black for night missions. It only boasted a broadside of two 4 pounders, but what it lacked in firepower it made up for with speed. After the Juniper war it remained in service until being de-commissioned in 615 AE to make way for newer ships. It was sent to an auction in Arlinsport and was promptly bought by a local fisherman - for a fraction of it's value - to be used for fishing and hauling small amounts of cargo for extra cash. The owner was about to scrap it after he no longer needed it, but a young adventurer named Lieutenant Nathaniel Brickford saw it in the harbor and offered twice what the scrapyard was willing to pay for it. He had heard many stories about this little ship from his father and grandfather (both veterans of the Juniper war), and he hoped he could restore this forgotten icon to its former glory. (OOC) I hope you enjoyed this ship's backstory! This is my first of many ship MOCs. I decided to make a small lightly armed class 2 naval cutter. Limited only by size (per the rules and wanting to take full advantage of my free license!), I think I have made a nice starting vessel for my journey on the Brick Seas. I don't really have too much to say regarding it. It mostly speaks for itself because everything about it is visible, so here are just some additional pictures of it. Enjoy! Questions, comments, and constructive criticism are always welcome!
  5. For my latest MOC I decided to create the Arc Hammer, which was the large Imperial vessel featured in the Dark Forces video game way back in 1995. The Arc Hammer served as a production facility for the Dark Troopers. They were sort of a cross between droids and super soldiers. The Arc Hammer was also seen in the strategy game Empire at War. I included several images throughout the thread that I used for reference and inspiration, enjoy! 6. (Sorry for poor picture quality.) Decided to finally get around to posting my MOC/MOD of the AT-ST walker, with TLJ showing off the FO version of it. I decided to have both versions present, with the original model converted simply by adding a few new parts. The MOC is based off the walker that came with the Battle of Endor set, with a almost identical head, but with the legs being built with ball joints to create a more movie accurate look. This makes the walker far more posable and flexible, however it can be difficult to set up and quite fidgety. The legs can be held in place by 'stoppers' built into the side of the legs. Original walker and the 5 parts used for FO version. Ball joint 4x4 piece with Bionical joint. More shots of the FO version:
  7. Back in 2007 (a great year for lego Star Wars in my opinion) Lego released some ads to promote the first wave of sets, which included the first ever battle packs. However, they had to put the Clone Trooper battle pack in an ad featuring OT sets, considering the Droid one was done in a different ad. To get around the difference in the eras, Lego decided in the ad to give the stormtroopers clone markings and have them ride the speeds. For a few seconds at the start you can see a Imperial Shocktrooper leading the charge: Years later EA feature shocktoopers in their Star Wars Battlefront game, and lego makes them as figures!: It's a pretty crazy coincidence that amuses me greatly, i had to share it! Here is an image of the troopers using the speeder:

  10. The ISB commander's yacht on Commenor had a partially scrubbed flight log, but I was able to identify approach protocols for an unusual class of ship from the control presets. These protocols insinuated that an aft approach was required for friendly vessels. Because the ISB yacht would not normally be concerned with the particular formalities required by other officers, it seemed likely that this aft approach was a mechanical requirement rather than the whims of the commander. Many smaller ships had similar mechanical requirements because of docking ports, but this yacht had very little wear around their ship-to-ship seals. This would imply a larger ship with a hangar large enough for a full yacht... the Barca-class cruiser. Imperial Barca-class Command Cruiser - Trasimene by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr These cruisers were quite rare; often used as serrated spear against larger capital ships. The cruiser would charge into close quarters with their larger foes, like some of the heavier Mon Cala ships increasingly being used by the Rebellion. Two heavy tractor beams would take hold and a starfighter contingent would be deployed to remove any enemy fighters or armaments from the ship. However, Imperial officers feared commanding such a ship because the quickest way to escape a serrated blade is to break it off. As the Mon Cala engines became more powerful, Barca-class cruisers were being pulled into hyperspace and ripped apart as the Rebels escaped. Imperial Barca-class Command Cruiser - Trasimene by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr Cross referencing my other data, 37 of these ships were currently in service and attached to various task forces throughout the galaxy as auxiliary vessels. Nothing prestigious enough to warrant visits by an ISB commander's yacht. A 38th cruiser must still be out there, off the Empire's official books. Imperial Barca-class Command Cruiser - Trasimene by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr I would have to stowaway aboard the ISB capital ship overhead and look closer into their data. XVI - data 1 by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr Everything seemed normal. Disposed of a technician while he was preparing for his shift, reported to his post on time and busied myself until I was alone. Upgrades to my arm let me slice quickly into the terminal without exposing my chest scomp link, which would be necessary for such an exposed location, but more dangerous because of the slice wouldn't have all the usual redundant firewalls. Which is exactly what got me... XVI - data 2 by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr I couldn't move. Helpless on the floor. Squads of stormtroopers ran by, but none came inside. They were securing the corridors all around me. A commander entered with his escort pilot. XVI - data 3 by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr Councilman 1 - "ISB Agent Goatm An 46-1, it is my honor to welcome you back home. Your services have been requested and it's time to end this little vacation of yours. "Pilot, secure our guest and extract his data. I want everything from the last 20, no, 50 years catalogued. We'll decide what we want to keep later. "Bridge! Proceed to our rendezvous with the Trasimene, the Endor system." Imperial Barca-class Command Cruiser - Trasimene by Ryan McBryde, on Flickr
  11. This model was inspired by a LUG challenge focused around the Pirates theme. While I usually only make a few Pirates builds each year, it has always been one of my favorite genres. The one limit for the challenge was that your entry had to be no bigger than the largest official Pirates set. I have always been more attracted to the islands, forts, and land settings than ships themselves, so I settled on building a small fort on an island. A single 32×32 baseplate served as the foundation for the model. For once a peaceful day with no pirates, or enemy ships in sight of the small Imperial outpost. Which makes it a fitting time to restock with some fresh supplies. More pictures are available on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking

  14. Hello, everyone! Today I give you a work in progress model that i am compiling in LDD. Based on the Imperial Bunker on Endor, which is key in keeping the Death Star II's shields up, this set has around 650 pieces total as it currently is. It also includes the satellite as seen in the movie. Features include collapsing walls, opening doors, rotating seats, and rotating turrets. No minifigures are included right now, but I expect to add more when the final model is completed. I'd love to hear your thoughts, comments, criticisms, etc. The pictures I use are created via Bluerender, a fast, free, simple rendering program.

  16. Hey everyone, I'm glad to present you my latest Midi-Scale MOC, the TIE Reaper from Rogue One. The TIE Reaper drew my attention when I discovered Doug Chiang’s wonderful concept art of the ship. The typical empire-like, aggressive and angular look of it instantly reminded me of my favorite vehicles from the movie. The main features of this design are: fully SNOT build from top to bottom, accurate proportions, studio model / prop look, removable stand and working ramp. Getting all the very complex angles and shapes, while maximizing the SNOT look, led to a very intricate Midi-Scale build. My main goal wasn’t “swooshability”, but making a convincing, display-only build. Although not intended for play, it can be easily moved around with or without its stand, and safely held from below. ► Instructions for the TIE Reaper are available at Rebrickable or via email at flyinspace.mocs@gmail.com More pictures on my Flickr page.
  17. At first when the images for the Imperial Light Cruiser were released at first I was very excited, because I didn't have a Star Destroyer style ship, but once I looked more closely, I was quite disappointed at how it looked. I understand it's a playset first etc, but the biggest issues to me were how wide the front gap was and how high the bridge was. Mixing between the Arquitens and the 546 Cruiser is understandable at this scale, especially if using promo images etc, but the proportions were so off for both. I also wanted to retain the DNA of being a "LEGO playset" and I felt the back half of the ship made poor use of space. The TIE Fighter launcher has been taken out and the front gap is smaller and has trans blue tile details. I've tiled off more of the surface of the cruiser. The canons are now much smaller as they don't have spring shooters. I wanted to better utilise the space in the middle of the ship and make it more accurate so the bridge and "spine" have been completely redesigned. The spine is now 3 studs wide and the bridge is lower. I refuse to use stickers so for the windows I represented them with clips. The ship is already very sturdy and can be "swooshed" by holding the sides so personally I didn't see the need for the handle taking up all the space in the bridge (and making the proportions off). The bridge is held on with 2 studs and inside there is enough space for a couple of figures sitting down. I haven't decided what to do with it but it will either be Dark Trooper storgage or Grogu's cell. I wanted to keep the spirit of being a playset so I tried to find a way to add a Dark Trooper drop mechanism but due to the large wedge tiles making up the base, there was no room for an opening door. You can also see I have tried to angle the ship behind the docking bay a bit more. I used a mix of artistic license between the Arquitens, class 546 and the shape of the set to compromise. With a "few" spare pieces I am a lot happier with the look of the ship. Sam P.S. first Eurobricks thread I've shared so sorry if I have done images wrong

  20. The Imperial Consortium Formerly The Imperial Triumvirate Faction: The Imperial Consortium Faction Leader: @shockwave_bricks Members: @Gubi0222, @ARKUM ELO, @williambrickalliance, @Bociephus, @Spud The Viking, @Anton_Bricks, @StandaartWoudt, @halixon, @P2_br1ck, @Lego Jokel, @OG-Bricks, @Anton_Bricks Faction pseudonyms: TIC Affiliation: Imperial Remnant Headquarters/Capital: Atrisia Systems: Zonama Sekot (F13), Gannaria (H15), Cerea (I16), Chalcedon (I16), Glee Anselm (J7), Mondress (J7), Vicondor (J7), Byss (K11), Trenwyth (I16), Khomm (L12), Balosar (L12), Thomork (L12), Trellen (M11), Byblos (M12) Sectors: Mandress Sector Grid: J7, F13, I16, L12 Description The Imperial Consortium (TIC) was a coalition formed of opportunistic Imperial warlords that toppled the former leadership of the Imperial Triumvirate. Consolidated under seven high ranking imperial warlords, this new Imperial Remnant had taken refuge in the deep core, and the unknown regions, in order to regroup and rebuild. History The Imperial Triumvirate was just the beginning. The first victory of many. From the embers of the Imperial Triumvirate, a new order rises; The Imperial Consortium. Organization THE RULING COUNCIL The leadership of the Imperial Consortium consisted of a league of high-ranking imperial officers, warlords, and moffs. This league was formalized in the form of a ruling Council, aligning and overseeing matters across the individual imperial remnants, fleets, and assets. Although consolidated under a united leadership, each warlord still maintained a large degree of autonomy of their remnant. SPECIAL FORCES Although subjugated to the Galactic Concordance, the Imperial Consortium continues to carry out sinister schemes and plots to restore the former glory of the Empire. Most of these activities are covert and highly secret, calling for highly trained commando soldiers, and other special forces. You could find yourself among this elite, carrying out pivotal missions coming from the very top of the Imperial Consortium. TROOPERS Training of new stormtroopers has been banned, but training of security personnel and repurposing old stormtrooper gear works just as well. The army, navy, and security troopers are still the backbone of the Imperial Consortium. ANCILLARY PERSONNEL In order to make the wheels keep turning, ancillary personnel are vital. This includes cargo pilots, scientists, manufacturers, operations officers, clerks, and the list keeps on going. Although this group does not make it to the recruitment posters, these professionals are vital to the various operations. Territory The Imperial Consortium has withdrawn to the Deep Core Security Zone, and various fortress worlds in the Unknown Regions. Here the new imperial order will further secure their strongholds, and once more expand the Imperial borders, to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Inventory In this section you will find various custom printable accessories free to use in your creations. Banners and Pauldrons can be printed on regular paper, and carefully cut out (They don’t last long, but they look pretty good if you don’t move them too much). Stickers are a little more tricky, since you need glossy sticker paper in order to get the same look and feel as real lego stickers. If you have any questions or ideas for new accessories, please feel free to PM Darth Bjorn. Frequently Asked Questions HOW DO I JOIN? Send a PM to the faction leader @shockwave_bricks, explaining why you wish to join the Imperial Consortium! Sign up now! The empire needs you! WHAT SHOULD MY BUILDS LOOK LIKE? As a faction rising from the remnants of the Galactic Empire and building on the same values, you should aim for a style that resembles imperial architecture, starships, crafts and equipment - like imperial garrison bases, imperial star destroyers or even AT-ATs and AT-STs. These could be heavily modified and improved since they might be salvaged or repurposed. Your special forces squad or stormtrooper squad could also be carrying out missions to various planets, giving you an opportunity to build a wide variety of Star Wars landscapes. WHERE CAN I BUILD? The Imperial Consortium is constantly expanding its territory. Above you will find a map of sectors, systems and hyperlanes accessible to the faction. You are allowed to build anywhere in the Star Wars galaxy, but only by building in accessible systems can you earn Influence Points (IP = System Control) for your faction. In order to further the faction's territory, all members of the Imperial Consortium is encouraged to earn IPs for the faction. Members of the Imperial Consortium can build in any system, where the faction has control or a presence (red regions, grids, and systems). Members can also build on any system along the red hyperlanes. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE RULING COUNCIL? The Imperial Consortium offers many different roles, but only few make it to the high chains of command. The Ruling Council is the supreme leadership, run by the TIC moffs. Only players who have shown exceptional commitment to the faction, will be considered for one of these seven seats. Below are a few pointers as to ways that would improve your chances at being considered for this promotion. Completing some or all of these tasks below, to a good standard, will improve your chances to catch the eye of your faction leaders, and your chances at getting promoted to the rank of Moff of the Imperial Cosortium. 22. The Y-45 armored transport hauler, also known as AT hauler, built by Kuat Drive Yards and used for the Galactic Empire, with its very agressive and intimidating design, was a great Midi-scale challenge. Accurately Microfig-scaled (or trophy-scaled), and made of 623 pieces, this MOC features all the typical angles and details of the original cargo ship: agressive cockpit shape, intricate wing angles, lower bridge with its guard-rails and stairs, ion engines and magnetic clamps, holding on a single, secure Lego stand. With very simple connections, both arms can be installed upwards to put the ship in landing mode. ► Instructions for the AT Hauler are available at Rebrickable or via email at flyinspace.mocs@gmail.com More pictures on my Flickr page.
  23. *This entry has earned 15 XP* Description - The air was humid and hot - moisture getting in everything. Under our armor. Our equipment. Underneath our skin. It was unbreathable, a layer of heat, fog, and sweat. Jokes aside, the jungle was a rotten place, monkey's shrills stinging our ears, and the ground squelching with every step. Obviously, the squad was here for a reason - to put an end to this nonsense. Pirates, mercenaries, and bandits who were working alongside our men decided they had enough of Imperial regiment and order. Hell broke loose. They claimed that the Imperial way was inflexible and rigid, that it had little room for fun. In other words, those womprats couldn't do anything their way. We couldn't agree more, however, the greater interests of the Empire awaited. The mission was to eliminate the traitors and those who stood in the way. All costs necessary - which of course included trekking through swamps and beaten down paths towards our targets, each miserable step dragging us and our pride down. Closeup Shots -
