I'm not like the other warlords out there, taking pompous titles to sound more important. « » Sir… may I ask, is this the Jedi prisoner, everyone is talking about? « » He’s no Jedi. Merely an annoyance. And after multiple weeks in stasis, he’s more dead than alive. He thought he could trick me, but finally he fell into my hands. « » Commander: What was the ratio of Rebel ships and the Imperial fleet before the disaster above Endor? « » I... I don't know, Sir. « » More than 1:1000! And what is it now? « » I'm not sure, Sir... Is this a test of some kind? « » 1:10. My point is the Empire could still crush the Rebellion easily. But it is lacking unity. All these warlords, they are stockpiling resources. They are distrustfully looking at each other in malevolence. We are watching the Rebels taking us out, one by one! They are even daring to celebrate their victories in a gala! We are no Empire no more. We are a thousand pathetic little Empires dying a thousand deaths! « » Sir, why can't you be our leader? You have these Reborn and the Apocalyptic Fleet under your control... « » Good question, Commander, I could. However, I'm more useful on the battlefield, rather than in politics. There are plenty little Imperial cells with control over one cruiser or a garrison. They are useless. But there are also some bigger fish out there. Isard, Moff Pandion, Captain Paelleon, Comissar Rax, Moffs Kaas and Bradwyn... We would need to bring them all to one table; to decide about the fate of the Empire. An old power generator building, now used as a garage for one of the infamous Tarisian Swoop racers. A Galactic Enterpreneur, soldier of fortune and Rebel Hero is sneaking around and making an important discovery… » Look what we have here... « » Hey, what are you doing here?! Identify yourself! « » It's not my fault! I was just admiring this swoop machine and - « » Luke! Thanks, but I almost coaxed them into giving me all the information. « » Sure you have. Lando? Good to see you. « » Oh, who we have here? I am Lando Calrissian. Galactic Entrepreneur and a friend of Luke's. « » Iya Qu'an. Nice cape and nice to meet you. « » So what have you found, Lando? « » You set me on these Dark Acolytes and I asked around, you know. One thing led to the other and now I'm here. They were smuggling these from Coruscant. « » Lightsabers! They are for the Reborn. « » Well combined, detective Jedi, muhaha! Now you all have to die... « Three Reborn Dark Jedi appear and an intense fight begins... » That's impossible! « Now, young Skywalker, you will die... » Argh! No! « » Luke! « » I'm ok. I can show you a bit around. « To next chapter >> ************************************ Hello and welcome to the next episode of Jedi Quest! The garage is my second attempt to build a circular base after the Prologue for RotLA. I’m quite happy how it turned out, although there was some tweaking necessary as the wing-plates do not make up a perfect 180° half circle, which was annoying. The build comprises an old energy generator room that is used as a garage for a swoop racer now. The swoop is a reminiscence of the one on Taris from the old KotOR game. Here I reused parts from from my M4-24 pod racer and modified them to fit with the wings and engines. Also the color scheme of the racer reminds of Anakins pod racer. The Reborn are expanded by the dark blue variant here. Not sure if I can introduce the orange and the green one to some day Last but not least, there is another familiar face showing up with Lando. I gave him some new clothes as this fella is known for his extravagancy and having a fitting cape to any of his garment. I hope you like this version! I guess the Jedi Quest Arc with Luke is coming to an end here. I don't want to over-use and own him here too much. Please give me feedback what you think. But there definitely will be a "Wiedersehen" with Iya Qu'an soon! Credits to @Professor Thaum for the control panel of the power core I got inspired by a lot! I again used my light box, this time with a colored LED array to give the laboratory a mysterious green vibe from below through all the mesh. Here you can find the build under white light and different angles. You see, I have only two of them tanks, but that allowed anyway for better placing the minifigs in the middle. Now you seek informations? « » I heard rumors that there are Jedi, occasionally visiting this club. I... I'd like to meet them. « » Oh, I understands. You want to meet the Jedis. Many lightsabers, belonging to Jedi once and later corrupted by the Sith, were transferred from Coruscant recently. One trace brought me here to Taris. I think their weapons might belong to that ominous batch. But it seems there is more going on here... « >> to next chapter *********************************************** Hello and welcome to an entry I've been looking forward for a long time. Sorry for the long post, but I really wanted to do all the different action packed shots and angles I hope it is epic for you as well! The group of Len'ya is a little bit idle now, on their way to a secret meeting with a Hutt. That's why there was time to work on this build, introducing my first Jedi story piece and the lighted bar! It's an hommage to the hero of my childhood - you can imagine who - but also an hommage to one of the best Star Wars video games, Jedi Oucast! I love the bar scene from the game and this here is a big bow to the little dialogue with the bartender with bad grammar there, as well as to the villians of the game, the Reborn. I'm now purposely mixing old canon and new canon here, boldly creating an "Eurobricks Mysteryverse" version of it with the Reborn being created/or part of the Acolytes of the Beyond. I'm going to explore this arc in the future for sure. But I'm not only bringing-in some mysterious dark Jedi, but also introducing a new character in Iya Qu'an. Stay tuned if you want to know, how the loose ends of the stories will unfold! Last but not least, here some additional images of how the lighting of the FLAREDANCER club has been done. I used an old tracing box I build once for illustrations. Here, I left open slits underneath the tables and voila, the nice lighting EDIT NOTE: I changed the title and tags, as this is now the first chapter of a spin-off called 'Jedi Quest'
