  1. Hello, everyone I would like to present a micro model of Kylo Ren's Shuttle. I made two version using the pieces from Lego Set "The Mini Batwing" 30524. I got the idea from this Polybag And this is the result: It's a little model but it's my first Star Wars Ship. Thank you for your time. Instructions can be found here and the Inventory at Rebrickable
  2. Hi, I present you my version of the suttle of Kylo Ren. It's not an UCS (some details are differents) but it correspond to the idea that I have of this ship : a black shadow. I kept the sytem to open the cockpit at the front and the back, but I didn't worked inside yet. At the begining, wings could be vertical, but considering the weight of wings, I have to change and they are fixed (but it's only to display in my dedicated room) Complete album flickr of this MOC : https://www.flickr.com/photos/138759056@N05/albums/72157687270801021 IMG_20171019_175236 IMG_20171019_175013 IMG_20171019_175203 IMG_20171019_175101 IMG_20171019_174854 IMG_20171019_175026 IMG_20171019_175051 IMG_20171019_175328 IMG_20171019_175306 IMG_20171019_175738 IMG_20171019_175643 IMG_20171019_175546 IMG_20171019_175505 IMG_20171019_175343 IMG_20171019_175844 IMG_20171019_175922
  3. Hello, this is my first post! :) I was wondering what your thoughts were on the new The Last Jedi sets, and which one is your favorite. Personally, mine is the Resistance Bomber - 75188 (except for the steep price...) Anyways, thanks!
  4. Less than a month away in a galaxy near us all comes the next installment to the star wars saga! This is my own trailer for The Force Awakens. Star Wars The Force Awakens Lego Trailer by AJV777, on Flickr Thanks to Lord Blako for letting me use his awesome Kylo Ren Saber sound fx https://www.youtube....BlakoSaberFonts and to SGTBizarro for Music from the official trailer without sound fx https://www.youtube....user/SGTBizarro Hope you all like and stay tuned for more! :D
  5. Hi there guys, this is my first post and I am sharing with you my first ever MOC! I would love to know your thoughts as well as any tips, advice or guidelines to help me with future builds. The courtyard is a two set build of the official 'Battle on Takodana' set and can actually slide out from the front as its own piece. The forest to the side of the castle (representing where Kylo Ren confronts Rey for the first time) is also its own piece and can slide out if you want to use it as a separate element. The main tower lifts off as does the entire roof section on the left hand side revealing more tables, patrons and the performance area for the band. The turret on the right side is hinged and hidden inside is a bluetooth speaker that plays 'Jabba Flow' when its turned on. I have included the room where Rey finds Luke's lightsaber. To access the room there is a vertical sliding door and the roof piece lifts off too. To populate the Castle I have mixed and matched a few of my favourite characters from the Star Wars universe, some of which are not exactly movie accurate but fun anyway, such as Hera and Sabine from 'Rebels' recruiting new members to join their crew. Greedo in the back hoping to capture another bounty and lando enjoying a drink with Figrin D'an. As for the new characters I have custom made the Crimson Corsair and GA97 (although thats really just 21B with a new paint job!) Bazine Netal... And Maz's band (including the fender guitar Sudswater Dillifay Glon is playing) Finally I added some more plants and water as a bit of detailing. Overall I have tried to include as many elements from the film as possible whilst keeping some fun elements within the MOC. I have also used a mix of bricks and colours as I was trying to give the impression that the castle is very old and has been patched up over hundreds of years...hope that comes across and it doesnt just look messy?! Like I say this was my first ever MOC however now I have well and truly got the building bug it wont be the last! Hope you enjoy!
  6. The fearsome First Order strikes again! This model occupies over two square feet of your average usable coffee table space at just under (an estimated) 2000 pieces. This behemoth took over two months to design - but I'm not done yet. Before the Christmas season, I hope to have instructions completed. This model is based on the First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer's bridge. The original model was a measly 8x12 inches: And used only around 700 pieces. The most difficult part of this stage was creating the curved portion of the front section. This took many iterations to get right. When I had time, I would plan the wings of the bridge. The wings use around 300 pieces for the left-wing (looking from the back) and 350 pieces for the right-wing. Finally, we get to the back extension. This alone uses around 650 pieces and expands the length of the model by 25%. I knew that this would be the last section for one crucial reason: I was running out of space at this point. I wanted to focus more on figure placement for this part, so I left it mainly open while emphasizing the diorama aesthetic. It took a while but I was able to obtain all of the black bricks I needed for the back of the bridge. I think it turned out well. @Monkeyulize, if I may ask for your help designing a UCS sticker for this model, here's that question. The 1x2 technic brick is designed to be used to anchor a figure stand (coming soon) - I know it's there, don't worry. At last, the finished product. A piece fell off during transport but I found it and it's back on. I'm very pleased with this but know it can be improved. If you have any questions or critiques, please don't hesitate to post. I have but one request: stay civil. I will update this post with more design changes and processes. The Flickr album link can be found here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzSuaU
  7. Hello, everyone! Today I bring you a 135-piece micro scale model of 75139 Battle on Takodana! It has all the details and figures from the original set, just in a much smaller scale! It can fold in and out like the actual set, but it lacks the action features (because that would be hard as hell fitting that in with my level of experience). Please feel free to comment or criticize as you wish!
  8. Finally got my Kylo Ren command shuttle converted to all black with red viewing port and folding wings. I think it turned out decent and is still very playable and swooshable! Started on it last January, but became addicted to Star Wars Battlefront for way too long after getting a PS4 at Christmas. Anyway with the recent release of Krennic's shuttle in mostly all black, I got inspired to pick up the black pieces from many Bricklink orders and finish my conversion of Kylo Ren's shuttle. I wish I could have gotten the red viewing port "fangs" to transition a little better into the top portion, but it still looks pretty good from a distance. Removing all the cross linked technic beams opened up a lot of room in the interior. I added two sets of the technic rotation joint disks to each wing and now they have three clickable positions for folding up and down. 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command ShuttleIMG_4497 MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr 75104 Kylo Ren Command Shuttle MOD by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr Command Shuttles Comparison by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr Command Shuttles Comparison by Shawn Minkey, on Flickr
  9. Hi guys, I thought I would quickly post this mod on a MOC I made. Earlier I had built the end scene from Revenge of the Sith with Vader, The Emperor and Moff Tarkin looking at the death star being built. I was in the process of dismantling it for parts when I suddenly realised that the exact same shot was used in The Force Awakens as well. So before taking it apart I did a quick modification on it to turn it into Kylo Ren watching the Star Killer base fire its super laser. DSC_2497 by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr A simple mod really turning the black space and death star backdrop into a red sky with a laser beam. The control panel had a few more lights added as well as some red tiles to mimic the red flare hitting the underneath of the window. As always I would love to hear your comments, feedback and suggestions.
  10. I have created a MOC of the iconic forest duel on Starkiller base from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This is a freebuild, so not everything is perfect and there should definetly be more trees but I think it came out nicely nonetheless. Now, my favorite part of the moc and why it took me so long to create. Video : https://www.flickr.com/photos/104099903@N07/29322290790/in/dateposted-public/ Thank you for viewing! Questions, comments, criticisms welcome.
  11. Finally finished my next LEGO SUPER SMOOTH stop motion speed build video - LEGO Star Wars - 75179 Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter. My biggest LEGO set so far.
  12. Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last shared a custom decal with you all here on Eurobricks, I apologize about that. But, recently, seeing that LEGO will be releasing this figure at some point in the coming months when they announce their SW: Force Awakens sets, I just couldn't wait and had to make a decal for my son and I for one of the characters from the sequels. So here it is, my version of the new Sith (I assume) baddie, Kylo Ren. I shared this on my Flickr account not too long ago. Please feel free to use on your own figs, but these are to be used for own personal decal use - no commercial use without permission. Also, I'd love to see anyone's MOCs using this, so please post those below as well. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts and constructive criticism. Thanks and enjoy! Kylo Ren - Full Color Given my experience in decals, it isn't the best to use clear decals on a dark torso or piece (unless it's a professionally printed decal). So, I've shared the full color decal below to use with sticker paper (clear or white). This also has a preview of what it could look like next to it. Kylo Ren - Clear Decal For those of you who can get professional based decals made for this, here's the clear decal. Based on this character
