  1. I wanted to reach out and ask people's opinion on the current format of the CMF Series. I also created this to discuss the series in a different way. I believed talking about the current rota in the other CMF threads would derail the threads. So, I must ask what is your opinion?
  2. Confirmed! From https://brickshow.com/2018/01/2018-lego-unikitty-set-numbers-release-date-unikitty-cmf-series-coming-in-june/: 414514145241453414544145541775 – Unikitty Series CMF Collection Discuss!
  3. What do you hope to see from TLG's current relationship with The Walt Disney Company?* Whether it be ideas for Direct to Consumer sets, new themes and franchises, particular characters for potential future Collectable Minifigure lines, sets for the current Disney Princess theme, or even sets based upon Disney Park attractions, share and discuss your ideas and dreams here! *This discussion only pertains to franchises part of the Disney brand, and not Walt Disney & Co. acquirements such as Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, etc.
  4. Hey Guys I have a pretty rare set that I'd be willing to sell! It's the Indiana Jones River Chase set!! It's fully sealed!! If any of you are interested you can make an offer!!
  5. This little polybag deserves it's own topic. Let's continue to show our love for the Technic polybags. May their reign never end! 6. I'm as susceptible as anyone to "the cult of the new" when it comes to minifigures and bigfigs, prone to oohing and ahhing over LEGO's latest creations. But sometimes I don't get that feeling and find older versions better than newer ones. Here are some examples: This is my favourite Joker (though with the big smile on the double printed head, not the smirk pictured), not the forthcoming one. And here is the Hulk I like most, not this one that came out a year later. I like this Spider-Man more than this one despite it being 10 years older. The ghosts I prefer are this one followed by this one. The more recent CMF one is cool too and I have one in my display collection with a different head, but the ones with the white shrouds are top of my list of phantoms. I realise that these preferences are entirely subjective and that opinions will vary, but was wondering what older versions or minifigures, bigfigs and moulded creatures other FOLs prefer to newer versions. Are there any that have disappointed you or do you always like the latest ones most?
  7. A couple of days ago I noticed that all of the pictures of some Jurassic Park mocs that I had made about 5 years ago had been removed because of supposed copyright infringement and that the request had been made by Universal City Studios LLC. Haven't really been paying attention to the goings on in the Lego community for a while, in fact I haven't really even touched Lego in years. So I was wondering if these copyright related takedowns are a thing now? Do they even have grounds to make a copyright complaint? Is the takedown request even genuinely from Universal City Studios? I still see a lot of other Jurassic Park MOCs on the site. Has this happened to anyone else? Here's the notice. It was sent in February but the message went to flickr mail only instead of notifying me via the email address associated with the account so I only noticed it recently. I've included a couple of pictures of the images that were removed . I deleted the original images of the MOCs from my computer a while ago but some of them are still partially visible when searched for on google images, which is why the image quality is terrible.
  8. Spider-sense tingling! The Devil rides again!
  9. Hi there everyone! This is my first real MOC post that I've put a lot of work into so please be kind I decided to create what a potential second line up could look like for another Disney CMF Series. I have a rational for every character I chose and if you've got any questions feel free to ask me below or PM me. All of the figures and pictures can be on my flickr linked below, and if you want to swing by there and leave a favourite or follow me to see my further updates it'd be much appreciated A few things to note. First off the figures are all hand drawn and I am working towards creating a better way to merge the hand drawing and digital aspects of the figures. If you recall the packaging for the first CMF was Blue and the colour I have chosen here is Yellow this is of course to reflect how the first non-licensed CMF was Yellow and the second Blue (Bit of Irony I guess). I have also included characters I felt were left out or needed to complete the figures that came in the 1st wave. For example the inclusion of Woody, Lilo, and Goofy. I have also tried to keep about the same amount of villains as there were in the original and plan to do so in future ones as well (If you guys like them of course ). Oh one last thing to note I think is that this is almost identical to the wishlist I created over a year ago so if there is someone you'd like to see me do I'll try to squeeze them into a future line (Only if they fit my criteria though). Also forgot to say that @Robert8 and his creations was a huge inspiration to do this, so thanks! So with out further ado.... 10. Hi everyone Zach here, today I have some pictures of a MOC I've been working on for the last year or so. I won't talk to much more because the pictures speak for themselves so here I present to you Monsters, Inc. Scarefloor Playset. Thanks for taking a look any feedback and criticisms are welcome as I would love to here your opinions. Again Thanks so Much!! Ultimately you can view more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/92629537@N08/with/32393133541/ Also this is pretty much and giant advertisement for the ideas page and you can view that here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/164652
  11. This is a theme inspired by LEGO's decision to create Stranger Things LEGO which is probably their most mature (age-wise) theme ever! This topic is for discussing what other more AFOL/adult oriented themes you wish/hope/want LEGO will make. We can also share any customs/MOCs based on more mature themes that we think would make great sets, like Game of Thrones or the Marvel Netflix shows. Or any TV and movies. This is more specifically geared toward ideas based on shows and movies that are rated TV-14/PG-13/15(UK)/R-Rated and above
  12. Hi everyone I've built this MOC of the Mystery Machine from the second live action Scooby Doo movie and I was wondering if I could get some help to refine the design a bit. Mainly to make it less blocky. Some things that I would like to be kept. The eight stud width, the opening back doors, be able to fit minifigs and be able to be built in real life. name for baby whale Here's my purist mystery inc that I also made. memento plot If you could help me out I will really appreciate it! If you would like any other info or images don't be afraid to ask.
  13. Hi This is where i am here to post my CMFs and art. Its not the best but i hope you like it My first was from October a horror series I have Improved since
  14. I decided to remake 2 sets from the 2004 Harry Potter line for the Prisoner of Azkaban as modern-day sets. 4750 Draco's Encounter should have Buckbeak as well but neither of the Buckbeak figures are on Studio and even though I kept the figure selection the same, I would also add Lupin to 4751 Harry and the Marauder's Map and maybe Hagrid to 4750. I might upload the instructions to the bricklink gallery as I think all of these parts are in existing colours except the flower piece used on the lock in the 4751 remake - not sure how to replace that. Hope you like these, both were very quick builds so I'll probably make a few more like this (maybe 4752 Sirius Black's Escape next, after that I might do some of the earlier sets)

  16. Hi everybody! Similar to this thread, I have created a thread to post general LEGO Licensed Theme questions. Licensed themes include Ghostbusters, The Last Airbender, etc. Here the community can answer one another's questions.
  17. It's my first review here so please bear with me. Long time lurker, big Lego Ferrari fan. Today I'm gonna review one of the Shell Promotional sets, 30195 (FXX) The set comes with 56 pcs. (including the pull-back chassis of course), an instruction leaflet, and a sticker sheet. Pretty straightforward. The only piece that intrigued me was the nose/hood of the car. It's similar to the nose of 30190, only difference is it's black. As with the other Shell Promo sets, it's pretty much a 5-minute build. I ended up with 4 extra pcs after building, although that 2x3 light grey pc seems pretty big for an extra pc. Without stickers, it's pretty plain and nothing like the original FXX So yeah, stickers are a MUST in this set, unlike the 30192 and 30194 which have printed bricks (not sure about 30195 since I don't have one yet) What's that in the background? Why, it's his big brother 8156 of course! Design: 4/5 - pretty much at par with the details considering its size. Stickers suck though. Parts: 3/5 - nothing special here, and the unique brick doesn't seem really useful outside of Tiny Turbos. Build: 3/5 - solid build from the door to the front. can't say the same about the spoiler, which detaches with relative ease. Playability: 4/5 - pull-back motor makes it highly playable, but the sturdiness (or lack thereof) of the spoiler could be a concern Price: 3.5/5 - considering how one could get these plus the fact that its details are mostly stickered, it's one of the promo sets which has less bang for the buck Overall: 3.5/5 Cheers Eurobricks! hope you enjoyed my first review here ever. :)
  18. It's a set about nothing! I built this detailed recreation of Jerry's apartment in my spare time over the past couple of weeks. If you like it, I would be extremely grateful for any support of this set on Lego Ideas! [link removed]

  20. Hi! My name is Rodrigo and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I grew up watching the Back to the Future trilogy, and I believe it’s just a perfect set of films. The moment I heard there was going to be a LEGO set with the DeLorean featuring Marty and Doc, it was like a dream come true. It was a must buy, no questions asked. The minifigures were absolutely fantastic, even though the Cuusoo time machine wasn’t my favorite build. No windscreen? Why?? Nevermind. LEGO and BTTF together, can’t complain. A couple of years later, we got a couple of LEGO Dimensions sets. This time, very little to build, a new hair piece for Doc Brown (much more accurate btw), and a brand new hoverboard for Marty, which is fantastic. The thing is Marty and Doc had the same torso and legs design from the Cuusoo set . Couldn’t they try another designs? Never mind. Good to know LEGO still considers BTTF within their licenses and products. That’s great. A few weeks, LEGO announced that Marty and Doc will be in the new series of Brickheadz. Fantastic! Brand new line, seems to be doing great, good for Marty and Doc. The problem? Like Cuusoo and Dimensions, Marty is wearing the same shirt, the red vest, the clear jeans… And Doc with his all white nuclear radiaton suit. This is the moment when two of my biggest passions clash. Is it possible for LEGO to consider even making different minifig designs for Marty and Doc? I understand they won’t choose other characters, but Marty and Doc are constantly changing outfits during the trilogy… Is it too hard to design a Western Marty? Or a 1955 Doc Brown? Why does Ghostbusters get the Firehouse and BTTF can’t get the Clock Tower? Once the BTTF Hardcore fan shuts up, the LEGO AFOL comes around and says that this may be truth, but LEGO may not be that interested in investing time and resources in a franchise that doesn’t pay off as much as others. That maybe, I should be grateful that LEGO is still making BTTF sets. Sorry for the length, but I really wanted to share this slight disappointment regarding the way LEGO worked the BTTF license. It’s kind of a weird feeling, but I can’t help thinking how much good LEGO can do with so little, an do justice to a fantastic franchise such as Back to the Future.
  21. "In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power Green Lantern's light!" After seeing the new lantern piece, I thought to myself "What's stopping me from putting different colours in the lantern?" Nothing is. Then that's where the lightbulb lit up like fireworks on 4th of July: Green Lantern's Lantern! I like the lantern from the 2015 set; the designers did very god work with the old lantern considering the scale and the pieces they had available back in 2015. However, with the addition of the new piece I feel it looks a better scale than 2015. Honest opinions are appreciated and welcome. Expect to see some more photos soon
  22. Greeting Comrades! So, I'm hearing a lot of stuff about a possible James Bond theme, seeming as he was going to be in Dimensions, but was never implemented as the game shut down. Now rumours of sets, at least one, are appearing? So is there anything definite about this? I've been dismissing it as all far-out speculation. Isn't the theme a bit too adult for LEGO sets, with all the death and that (Although the same could be said for any licensed theme, James Bond has quite gritty sections, like the torture in Casino Royale) So, does anyone have any more news for me to hear?
