Mando Mayhem - 5 - Welcome to the Jungle After the New Republic made contact with the mandalorians and both sides agreed to an alliance, mixed groups of New Republic soldiers and Mandalorian warriors were sent out to the various planets and moons in the Mandalore sector. Tasked with reconnaissance they should track and observe operations of the Imperial Remnant in this region of the galaxy until combat troops arrive. On the swamp moon of Zanbar one team made contact with an imperial combat assault tank, transporting supplies through the jungle. Soldier: "Let's follow this tank to its base...." [Unfortunately i did not have the parts to build the canonical orange containers.] -
MANDO MAYHEM - 4 - THE MANDALORIAN CONCLAVE << to previous chapter The Corewraith Hotsprings – a Mandalorian sanctuary somewhere in the icy glaciers on planet Krownest. It is said, that deep in the hot waters the Corewraiths dwell – mysterious and dangerous creatures, born in the planet’s core, spitting boiling water and worshiped by many, only surpassed in their legendary status by the mythical Mythosaurus’ of Mandalore. No Corewraith has haunted the sanctuary for a many years and for now, only nasty ice spiders would call the cavern with the sacred pool their home. Today, Mandalorians from all clans would gather here to hold a conclave. Not all of them are happy; as it’s the first time in centuries an offworlder would be allowed to enter their sanctuary… » All clear now! « » Mandalorians! Let’s welcome our guest in these sacred halls and listen what they have to offer! « » I am Senator Auxi Kray Korbin, Chief Advisor to recently elected Chancellor Mon Mothma. I am here as an ambassador of the New Republic. Both our people have suffered heavily under the stranglehold of the Empire. *Your entry has earned 17 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 20 XP (S:5, T:6, A:6) Mando Mayhem - 3 - The Information Broker ...desolate KOPYDAT, the forgotton station, the ghost-station. Although not everyone forgot about KOPYDAT... Some of the airlocks deep in the core of the station were still in good condition. So eventually KOPYDAT was boarded by a mysterious figure. An information broker, once a freelancer but now an agent of the New Republic, boarded the station and installed strange machines on KOPYDAT. Tactical stations, holoprojectors, even a holo library, powerd by a army of gonk droids and few of the station's solar panels that were still intact. The data kraken, the spynet spider is now passively observing the holonet, filtering communication and also observing a network of drones and automated watch towers all acorss the regions of the galaxy that once were under imperial control. And so it happened that the information broker picked up signals from the Mandalore sector! There were some incomplete Mandalorian distress signals but also imperial codes amongst the intercepted messages...

*Your entry has earned 12 XP (S:4, T:4, A:4) MANDO MAYHEM: KOPYDAT STATION Corellian Space. Stationed around three lightdays from the sun Corell, KOPYDAT space station is the former central unit of an almost forgotten Corellian mining venture from more than hundred standard years ago, that aimed for pristine comet ice. The exploitation of the comet belt however soon proved uneconomic and the station got abandoned. Being far away from any known hyperspace route to and from Corellia - it takes days to reach it with sub-light engines– the lost station was reactivated sometime before the Clone Wars and served as a remote retreat for smugglers, scoundrels and outlaws. Some years ago the station took a blast, as partisans, running from the Empire, triggered a detonation to cover their escape. Many died at KOPYDAT due to abrupt pressure loss or were sucked into the cold emptiness of space. The handful that survived abandoned the wreck and KOPYDAT became a ghost station, haunted by the poor souls that were lost by that reckless maneuver. As spacers tend to be superstitious, none of them would ever return and KOPYDAT remained silent for many years... ********************************* Edit: additional images without FX:

*Your entry has earned 15 XP (S:5, T:5, A:5) Mando Mayhem: Prologue Part I The location is somewhere on Krownest, the frigid mountainous ice world in the Mandalore sector, historical home to Clan Wren. Skirmishes between Mandalorian factions and imperial remnants are taking place on many planets and moons in this part of the galaxy. Politics and bureaucracy of the New Republic have not yet reached this region of the Outer Rim Territories, which is home to Mandalorian clans, smugglers and mercenaries and where the law of the strongest still rules. Now an imperial splinter group arose from the ashes of the Empire and is seeking control over Krownest and the whole Mandalore sector. The imperials sent out patrols but are yet to discover any sign of life in the icy mountains of the planet.... Another shot of the edited picture of the moc:
