Hi everybody, Hopefully I'm in the right section. So, I don't own an Axl from Nexo Knights and after looking at the images online, it looks like his torso is made of two parts: one minifigure torso, and the top bit that attaches to it. Could anybody take a photo of the inside of the torso for me? I am very curious, I wonder if the two parts can be separated. If so, I hope the print on the bottom part covers the full torso, I'd like to use it to make a normal-sized Axl. Thanks! EDIT: Since I posted this, I have bought an Axl myself, and I can confirm that the piece does not attach through the arm holes. I believe it is glued at this point, but I am not interested in breaking it for confirmation. I can post specific photos if requested.

My mods of the D&D figures from the Collectible Minifigures line as well as from set 21348 Red Dragon's Tale. Figures that did not come from either but have benefited from their parts are also included. Note that not all of the minifigures are modded. Some such as Strahd, Szass Tam and the Lady of Pain are as sold. Most of the parts are LEGO. Only four of the pieces are third party. I did use a couple of non-purist techniques. Overall though, they're close to purity.

Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-87788/_TLG_/57-chevy-matchbox-version It is a studless model in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style, and it is an update of my earlier design, because some new parts have become available since the first release which was in 2021, therefore I was able to build a cleaner, less pixelated flame decoration. The use of stickers is minimized to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. There are some space before the rear seats too, but it is enough only for a minifigure without legs Thanks for visiting, _TLG_ '57 Chevy (update 2024) - INSTRUCTIONS 1 by László Torma, on Flickr '57 Chevy (update 2024) - INSTRUCTIONS 2 by László Torma, on Flickr

The grand opera house was alive with the energy of the dress rehearsal. Alex, the director, was giving final instructions to Maria, the soprano, and Luca, the baritone. Michael, the conductor, raised his baton, and David, the pianist, began the overture, his fingers dancing over the keys. Isabella, the woman with a double bass, adjusted her instrument, ready to play. From the balcony, Clara, the opera review writer, observed everything with keen interest. As Maria and Luca's voices filled the auditorium in a beautiful duet, a small commotion started in the loft above the stage. Michael noticed it first, his eyes widening as he tried to keep his focus on conducting. Suddenly, a spider descended from the loft, dangling right in front of Maria. She let out a small yelp but continued singing, her professionalism shining through. Alex, trying to keep the mood light, whispered to the cast, "Looks like we have a new critic in the house!" The entire cast and crew burst into laughter, even Clara couldn't help but chuckle from her spot in the balcony. The spider, seemingly unimpressed with the performance, scurried back up to the loft, leaving everyone in good spirits. As the final notes echoed through the hall, Alex clapped his hands, signaling the end of the rehearsal. The cast and crew exchanged relieved smiles, knowing they had delivered a performance worthy of the grand stage, spider and all. *** Hello, I love architecture and I decided to design an opera house to Bricklink Designer Program Series 6: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-6/2215/The-Opera---Dress-rehearsal My inspiration came from the opera houses of Budapest and Vienna. I tried to add many typical details, and decorations such as a combination of an arcade and a balcony on the front facade, statues, dormer windows, a brick-built light pole, light on the rear facade, planter etc.. The roof assembly and the auditorium balcony are removable and a big part of the rear wall is openable to make the interior space accessible. The foyer includes a bar combined with a box office, and a staircase to the auditorium and facade balconies. In the theatre there are a stage with a scenery and curtain, an orchestra with a brick-built grand piano, and an auditorium with balcony. All doors works. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore stickers are not used. The set includes 10 minifigures including the two gray statues on the facade and two animals. Dimensions of the building: Width: 34.1 studs / 10.7 in / 27.3 cm Length: 50.9 studs / 16.0 in / 40.7 cm Height: 29.2 studs / 9.2 in / 23.3 cm I hope you enjoy this set. *** In the mystical realm of Thyndros, the Wizard of Light and the Wizard of Dark were once brothers, bound by blood and magic. Their harmony shattered when the Wizard of Dark, seduced by the whispers of an ancient evil, sought to harness forbidden spells to dominate the world. The Wizard of Light, devoted to preserving peace, opposed his brother's dark ambitions. This clash of ideals sparked a war that tore the land apart. The black dragon, Valkhoros, was summoned by the Wizard of Dark from the depths of the Abyss. With eyes that glowed like molten lava and wings that blotted out the sun, Valkhoros became the harbinger of doom, spreading fear and destruction in the name of his dark master. *** Hello, I love the dark creatures of fantasy movies and therefore I decided to design a black dragon to Bricklink Designer Program Series 6: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-6/2092/Dragon-Attack It is not actually based on an existing character, I was inspired by some cool AI generated pictures and some cool dragon head builds, but I built something brand new. I wanted to create a movable animal instead of a static statue and added a small tower and two wizards to the set for more playability options. The Wizard of Light has a staff and a crystal ball. The rear of the tower is removable to make the interior space accessible, and the door works as well. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two stickes are used for the dragon eyes and they are based on the printed part 98138pb386 which is not available in this series. Dimensions of the dragon (as it is shown on the main picture): Width: 71.0 studs / 22.4 in / 56.8 cm Length: 67.5 studs / 21.3 in / 54.0 cm Height: 44.8 studs / 14.1 in / 35.8 cm Some rotation joints can only be stable in certain positions, for example the tail end must rest on the ground. I hope you enjoy this set. Many thanks for your support and feedback! * * * The kingdom had long awaited the king’s return. As he rode through the gates, the people cheered, their hope rekindled. * * * Hello castle fans, The King's Castle was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 5. I have received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-193221/_TLG_/kings-castle-the-king-returns It includes many details such as flags, coat or arms, arcades, a brick built gate, plants and even a brick built tree. The building is foldable and in the opened version the rooms and halls are visible. There is a throne hall, a dining hall with a statue, a basement, a kitchen with a masonry oven. All doors work and some walls of the tower house are openable as well to make accessible the king's bedroom, the staircase with the treasure chest and the prison. The set includes 11 minifigures (including the statue) and some animals which provide many playability options. It is built from almost 4000 bricks to make it large and detailed. Unfortunately some parts were not available in the palette (including a minifigure king crown or a saddle), but I am still really satisfied with the result. I hope you enjoy the castle. Hello all. As Lego has moved along over the years, I have noticed steady increase in pieces that are updated with new molds. One that surprises me that has not been updated is the 2x2x2 slope piece used to represent dresses, robes, etc. Am I the only one that thinks this should be updated with a new piece? I have never liked the fact that using this piece makes a minifigure 1 plate taller than they should be, the arms can't sit flush against the torso (because it's wider than regular legs), the figure is static because the torso can't bend, they don't hold together well when played with, and dresses aren't square (well, you know what I mean). Why has Lego not created a new dress mold or standard minifigure equivalent? I don't mean to make this into a gender issue... but could this be because the major focus for girls' play is now the Friends, Disney Princess, Elves, etc. lines with minidoll style figures? My kids enjoy minidolls and minifigures, but I have noticed they like to use regular minifigure legs over these slope dresses. Just seems overdue for a new piece. Thoughts?

Hello Friends! I study 3D modeling and can make a person head in miniature to become a LEGO minifigure. It can be 3D printed to get something like on the photo below (see 3D preview here: https://skfb.ly/6tUnN )!

Hi Everyone, I haven't seen any posts about displaying minifigures in picture frames recently, so I thought I share with you my version. I made these 5 display frames for my Lord of the Rings/Hobbit minifigure collection. It doesn't contain all the minifigs from the themes, I deninitely wanted to create a nice display instead. The 5 frames are: Elves, Orcs (including 1 goblin soldier), Wizards (=Istari, incl. 2 blue wizards from other themes), Dwarfs (+Bilbo) and the fellowship of the ring (incl. Gandalf the White, King Theoden, Elrond and Gollum). I can place some bigger minifigs (for ex. Goblin King) on the top of the frames. I've used IKEA Ribba frames (23x23 cm). I've edited special backrounds for the individual displays. The minifigs are standing on 2x4 bricks, which are glued to the background. These bricks allowed me to apply stickers to sign the minifigs and to add extra parts (for ex. the arkenstone for Thorin). Unfortunatey, I couldn't use the glass of the original frame, because there wasn't enough space due to the equipments of the minifigs. Thus, I can't prevent them from dust... Creation process: As you can see, the bricks aren't glued on the photo, they are connected directly to the board. The final result: Thanks for stopped by!

Hello all, Many of you may have come across my father JimH in previous forums related to this topic. If you have read any of his posts, you would understand that I am one of the five winners of Lego Magazine's 14k Solid Gold C-3PO Lego mini figure giveaways from the Spring/Summer of 2007. As I am much older now and will be graduating from college in the Spring, my desire to sell the piece has increased. The revenue generated from selling the figure will help put me in a nicer financial standing as I head off into the real world. I will have my father comment on this thread as proof that I am his son and owner of the C-3PO figure. If you have any questions about the piece itself, estimates to what it is worth, or would like to make an offer on the piece, please do not hesitate to post in this thread or email me directly at -removed- May the force be with you! P.S. I am aware that my father has posted pictures of the figure in the past. Unfortunately, I am currently working as an intern away from home this summer. However, once I am back in a few weeks I plan to post updated pictures of the figure for further proof.

I have a folder on my computer comprised entirely of custom minifigure designs - (some I have made myself) So my questions are: Sizing - how do I size the templates to fit lego minifigures? Also I'm not overly technical on a computer Printing - where and how do I print the designs? What materials will I need? Application - what is the best way to apply the designs to my lego?

Hi everybody! I am not sure, if this is the right place for my topic, but I hope so As I am trying to catalog all my minifigures, I "stumbled" upon all my custom figures (=official LEGO product, professionally printed). My list normally has these categories: Minifigure Variation Set Year Quantity Comments So, these are all pretty clear and obvious with normal LEGO figures, as I can always search on brickipedia or bricklink for missing information. But, I want my beloved customs in that list, too... the main problem: YEAR! I tried about an hour to find out which customizer released which figure when...and the chances to find solid and reliable sources for that are really low. Which leads to my main question: Is there any collection / index of professionally custom printed minifigures that someone can provide? Does something like that even exist? If not, I'd invite anyone who is interested and we can try to get one big and reliable index for ourselves. I can always update this first post to our newest version of our catalogue. If no one is interested in this I am fine with it, too - but I think it would be a nice idea. Thanks a lot for reading and I am looking forward to hear your opinions on this (as we have some great customizers here, too). - KCMatze Edit: Humm... html or BB codes are not allowed here... that brings some difficulties to create a nice table.

Like the topic says, what's your favorite licensed minifigure you own? Least favorite? What minifigure that you don't have do you want most? Or a minifigure you'd like to be made? For me, my favorite would probably be Poison Ivy (original variant) because she was my favorite character in the video games when I was a kid, and those games were what got me into Lego in the first place. I also like Aayla Secura, Boba Fett (new variant), Robin (old variant with wavy hair), and Luke Skywalker (new variant). My least favorite… I don't really know, I love all my minifigs But if I had to choose… probably Spongebob, just kinda over the whole Spongebob craze and he's not the best looking minifig. And Sugi… just kind of a boring design My least favorite that I don't own… Malevolence Padme. I don't get why they didn't use her design from the video game, giving her Will Turner's hairpiece just seems lazy. My most wanted… Queen Amidala, white Boba Fett (new variant), Boba Fett (old variant), Oola, and Hera(ALL THE TWI'LEKS ) Most wanted that I will most likely never own… Phoenix, Spider Woman, white/bronze/gold Boba Fett (old), and Nightwing (old).

Hi! I've recently gotten back into Lego collecting, so I haven't really set up a good storage situation yet. I've been keeping most of my bricks/minifigures organized in plastic ziplock bags, but recently while going through my minfigures I noticed that one of my Poison Ivy (old variant) figures had a scratch on her lips. This could have been because most of my minifigures are played with, but I don't remember her being scratched before being in the bag… I'm wondering if keeping them in the bags will cause scratches/damage, or if the scratch is most likely from before? I have a couple large bags with 50-75 minifigures in each and so far haven't noticed any damage to any of my other figures (haven't been looking too hard though.) Could it simply be because it's an old figure? I've been trying not to move the bags too much after I found the scratch, but is there a better storage option? Keep in mind I'm a bit tight on money/space right now. Thanks!

My kid has gotten into both LEGO and the Moomins, characters created by Tove Jansson. (This Moomin series is over 70 years old.) After finding Moomin pencil caps when visiting Moomin World I came up with a crazy idea. I created my own Moomin minifigures. Snufkin and Little My were created using standard minifigure parts. Moomintroll and Snork Maiden heads are cut from a pencil topper. The toppers were easily found in several tourist stores in Finland. Left to Right - Moomintroll, Snufkin, Snork Maiden, and Little My Snufkin Little My Moomintroll Closeup of the head. I cut off the head from the small body that came with the pencil topper. The hole for the pencil was the right size but needed to be drilled deeper. I used a Dremel tool for all of the cutting. I only bought two pencils so I was a little nervous about trying to clean up the edges. All in all. I'm happy with the results. I'm thinking of trying this again if I find other interesting pencil tops. These minifigure were developed for my family's enjoyment. The rights to these characters is owned by Moomin Characters Ltd. Maybe someday LEGO will look to license them.
