Hello Eurobrickers! It's another famous energy drink logo. This time it's Red Bull. Which logo do you like the most?

Hello Eurobrickers! This is another logo of a company that produces drinks. This time it's an energy drink, Monster Energy Drink. I wondered if bright green or lime would be more appropriate, but bright green does, although there are more elements in the lime color. Bright green doesn't even have a 1x6 plate, so I had to combine 2 plates 1x3

So my girlfriend and I (but mostly my girlfriend ) have this obsession with baby swans. We think they're just the cutest things ever! We used to go for walks specifically to see the local specimens and I believe we have hundreds of pictures of our beloved cygnets. We even have our own lingo to describe them: a baby swan is called a "swanling" and older specimens that still haven't left their parents are called "sweenagers". A swanling MOC was therefore inevitable. Inspired by the recent Lego Art sets, I went with a 2D approach mixing smooth SNOT for the main elements with a softer studs-up mosaic for the background in order to get a nice contrast. This was my first time doing such a mosaic, but I had a lot of fun with it, especially because I could take it nice and loose which was quite relaxing after solving an intricate SNOT puzzle for weeks. It really felt like painting with bricks! Speaking of painting, recently I've also been very inspired by painting techniques, so I tried to play with colors in the shadows and highlights of the swanling to give it some vibrancy. This was a lot of fun to play around with, but also posed an interesting challenge because bricks had to be oriented in specific direction in order to come to the right color gradients. [MOC] Cute little swanling by Bert Van Raemdonck, on Flickr In the end, I realized I was going in a Beatrix Potter direction, so I leaned into it and made the scene a little bit more whimsical by giving our cute little swanling a little caterpillar buddy to play around with. I also tried to emphasize the playfulness of the swanling by exaggerating the proportions and pose a bit. I'm especially happy with how the eye came out, as it really makes the swan feel playful and alive! Thanks, pirate bicorne piece ! For those interested, you can file the stud.io file here

Finally done! 6 months ago I started this project hoping it would meet expectations. Like any large project it was a real roller coaster but a great build in the end. Building process was classic: Stage 1) This is going to be awesome Stage 2) Bricklink, BRICKLINK, BRICKLINK!!! Stage 3) Oh crap... what have I gotten myself into Stage 4) Rethink. Develop methodical plan Stage 5) Build, build, build Stage 6) Yipee!!! Done High res photos on flickr https://www.flickr.c...157659697395628 Photos of the build over time: The challenge here was to divide the project up such that it would fit through doors. The foundation is built on a thin sheet of plywood with 1/4" strips on the back to provide some rigidity. Here you can see two panels lined up next to each other including the grid I used to help keep me oriented to the space. I used several different online programs to convert the mosaic to bricks to help with the anchor points. In the end I found those programs only useful for the anchor points. Here you can see us moving the completed panels to the final locations. Each panel weighed around 50-60 lbs. The completed project with me in there for scale - roughly 8ft high - 16 ft across Link to video with working lights: and I can't say enough about the value of an awesome electrician!!! Hello Eurobrickers! Today I would like to show you my real 3D Lego mosaic with Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. I`m not Star Wars fan, but I`ve built something like this. I had before 3D Lego mosaic (mosaic 1, mosaic 2) with a stand to rotate my mosaics, but the stand I demolished

Hi Everyone, I'd like to present my mosaic artwork titled "Old Friends" First off a couple of disclaimers! #1 I know mosaics are not everyone's cup of tea, so if you've made it this far thank you! #2 You may have already seen this on my Flickr or Instagram pages, if so I apologize. I'm pretty proud of the way this one turned out so I want to share it with as many people as possible! The piece consists of 3911 parts and sits on a 4x4 base of 16 x 16 technic base plates (or bricks if you prefer). I worked hard to eliminate as many rare parts as possible. I managed to source most of the pieces from used art sets and LEGO bricks and pieces. I only used BL to acquire the 4 x 4 curved macaroni tile in yellow, 3 1/2 round stadium tiles in orange and some of the frame elements which are far less expensive there. If one was so inclined it would be possible to replace the technic baseplates with flat 32 x 32 baseplates and forgo the frame for a decent savings. Like my Boba Fett mosaic, this one comprises 3 layers of plates and tiles over baseplates. This is to give more definition to the shapes, allow for some more subtle color through layering round tiles and square plates and to add a bit of dimensionality to the image. I've been enjoying trying to get better photos of my mosaics and trying to capture what they are actually like to see in person (as opposed to the original renderings, or a straight-on shot). the frame follows the typical LEGO art technique with an integrated frame using modified 1 x 2 bricks with pin to connect the frame to the technic base plates. It also includes the technic pin connectors that acts as picture hangers to hang on the wall, though I quite like the leaning look. Instructions are available on Rebrickable. I enjoy the unique challenge of creating instructions for these mosaics. The options in stud.io aren't quite flexible enough to create user-friendly instructions so I spent a long time thinking about the hurdles and designing a solution that would work within the format we are familiar with. In the end, I came up with a simple looking matrix of part/color however accurately transcribing the data (number of pieces, style of piece, and color) was incredibly time-consuming and tedious, which involved outputting a separate model of each mosaic step, creating a parts list .xls and entering that data by hand into thee page template. I have included an example below so you can get an idea. In the future, I hope to have my wife help me code a script to do this automatically. I'm always open to constructive feedback so please do let me know what you think!

Despite the opinion that the Lego mosaic theme is boring , a recent huge example together with the announcement of the new Batman and Elvis sets have triggered my interest in building one A quick search shows that there are a few software options to help with the initial shaping link 1, link 2 & many others, but people with experience points out that manual adjustments will be required So, basically you have a clear path ahead to draft it; but then, how do you source the pieces? Which set could be the most cost-effective for your project? All official mosaics bring the base bricks, a frame in black or white and up to 16 colors of 1x1 round tiles or plates in good amounts ,but they are not easy to compare. So I have put together the following table that can be used beforehand, so you limit your palette to what's available in a set (some tools already includes this), or afterwards, choosing if any would solve your needs better than a BricksNPieces / Brincklink order Notes: - I have excluded the World Map 31203 because if you are considering that size, clearly you are not into cost optimisation - The submission of the upcoming Ideas set Starry Night is not flat and looks great, this would require different parts sourcing. @Themiddlebrick uses a noteworthy layered technique in Boba Fett mosaic artwork - Art Project 21226 is listed based on the Lego instructions' last page, and Batman 31205 and Elvis 31204 are listed based on info from Brothers-Brick review ; the rest comes from bricklink - A few DOTS sets might be good parts packs as well, I have included them Set Number 21226 31197 31198 31199 31200 31201 31202 31204 31205 41935 41950 41951 41952 Set (nick)Name Art Project Marilyn The Beatles Iron Man The Sith Hogwarth Mickey Elvis Batman Lots of Dots Lettering Dots Message Board Large board Num. This colorful LEGO mosaic of mine was made in Jan. 2022. https://flic.kr/p/2mZhC7j https://flic.kr/p/2mZiVri Color Explosion by c.behrens, on Flickr It is made of 4 x 9 = 36 stk. 32 x 32 LEGO baseplates. It gives a total of 36.864 studs or 1 x 1 LEGO bricks. It measures 102 x 230 cm.I have used bricks and not plates. There is used a total of ca. 18 kg LEGO bricks included baseplates. It contains a total of 64 different colored LEGO bricks. It was my goal to get as many different LEGO colors in it as possible. The brand new 2022 color Neon Yellow is also in it. And also the color Light Nougat that is new in basic bricks is in it.It even contains a Metallic Silver brick in the middle and also a 1 x 1 brick in Pearl Gold rains as stardust over the artist name. In the middle there is a ring of "fire" that is made of the brick color Glow In Dark White. That way the picture attracts attention even in the night. The picture has the working title of Color Explosion, but I have 21 suggestion for new / better / other titles:1. Ring of Fire (Refers to the glow in the night)2. Color Explosion3. Life is in Colors4. Big Bang5. The Creation6. LEGO Colors7. LEGO Explosion8. Colors9. Color Circle10. Paletton11. RGB (RGB stands for the three primary colors red, green and blue)12. Color wheel13. Color art14. HOT15. Colored16. Orgasm17. Genesis18. Colorpalette19. Colorful20. 64 (Refers to the total number of colors)21. The picture with the many names. The picture hangs in my bedroom at the end of my bed. In that way I have a beautiful "sunrise" every morning and it reminds me of the creation of the world, the big bang, - or the beginning of a new and wonderful day. And it also reminds me that life comes in many colors and shades. There are sad gray days and those wonderful bright days where everything shines. Lifes ups and downs. In the evening when I go tired to bed it reminds my of, that it would be nice with a lovely colorful and explosive orgasm. So you understand that it is a nice colorful picture to have in my bedroom. What do you think of it? Do you have a good name for it? Or what name do you find the best? Please comment and post below! Hello Eurobrickers! I haven't published anything for a long time and I rarely visit the forum. Anyway. When baseplates 32x32 in Dark Blue arrived at BOP last year, I immediately thought of building a Pepsi logo. I once built Coca-Cola logo, so now there are logos of two competing companies ;) Which one do you like better?

This wass my 9th entry to Colossal Castle Contest XIV. At first I wasn’t sure if I would build anything for the Historic Illumination category, but then decided it would be a good opportunity to try my hand at a mosaic. The design is based off of this image. It was quite a challenging build process, more frustrating than rewarding really. I've done a smaller version of this before: One of Mitgardia’s most iconic sigils, the bear paw represents the guild’s courage, strength, and ferocity. C&C welcome as usual, this was quite a change from my usual minifig scale buildings and landscapes

Built for the large miscellaneous category of the 14th Colossal Castle Contest. The scene was inspired by this image. It took about 2 weeks to build, and weighs 24.8 pounds, making it my largest solo build ever. Setting up the buildings layout and connecting them via bridges was the most challenging part, though the rockwork was most time consuming to build. Qasr Albahr is a large trade citadel in the Spice Islands of Kaliphlin. It serves as a hub of the trade between the islands and mainland Kaliphlin. Its climbing bridges and ornate walls are well known throughout Historica. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, all C&C appreciated

LEGO Mosaic - Napoleon Crossing the Alps 拿破侖翻越阿爾卑斯山 Napoleon Crossing the Alps (also known as Napoleon at the Saint-Bernard Pass or Bonaparte Crossing the Alps) is the title given to the five versions of an oil on canvas equestrian portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte painted by the French artist Jacques-Louis David between 1801 and 1805. I don't like war but I like the Arts & painting. After two hundred years an oil on canvas painted by Jacques-Louis David, I recreate it in LEGO bricks version instead of an oil on canvas. It is quite huge size but perfect mounted on wall for my home decoration or exhibition. Builder : Alanboar Cheung Size : 144 studs (L) x 128 studs (W) Pieces : 15000 pcs Ready for mount on wall in my home :P Over 15000 small pieces of plates is collected for the creation. I collected them all over a years. I bought the wooden plate for the base of mosaic. Starting the mosaic painting combined with two 48x48 baseplate. It consumed 48x48 baseplate x 6 and 32x32 baseplates x 5 Stick together using with the strong sticker. More and more , it will be completed soon. My lovely biy help me and fun together :P It is one of my creation exhibited in "Alanboar & Mythbot Bricks Exhibition @ Macau Joy 2015" Thank you for your watching! My entry for round 4 of the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics, though I figured it fit quite well in Avalonia as well. I really enjoyed experimenting more with Elvish architecture with this build, as well as the colors and patterns. One of my main goals was to include as many non-square elements as I could, like the gardens, fountain and rounded base, which I think ended up turning out quite well. I’ll definitely be doing more elvish builds in the future, as it’s an incredibly fun style to build in and this ended up being one of my personal favorite builds of mine to date. Credit for how to fill in the rowboats goes to Simon NH, and Marcel V. and Vitreolum for the harp and lute respectively. More pictures on Brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated

I actually finished this build around the beginning of June, but haven’t gotten around to posting it until now. This was just a build for fun to mess around with the dark blue/white colorscheme and to finally do something for Kaliphlin again. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, though unfortunately the pictures are rather poor. Located on the Eastern outskirts of Katoren, this monastery survived the Kaliphlin civil war better than most. A natural spring was the reason for the monastery’s location, and the spring continues to provide fresh water for all the inhabitants, as well as make the surrounding area very lush compared to much of the Kaliphlin landscape. More pictures on Brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Another fun build for the ABC’s of Castle, over on Classic-Castle, as well as a Kaliphlin free-build. This one is ‘Courtyard’, for ‘C’. I wanted to try experimenting with color a bit in this build, as often times the Mediterranean style builds I see do so to great effect. It was especially inspired by the works of Robuko. It's been a while since I've finally gotten around to continuing my Katoren story-line, due to other commitments, but here's another installment. Check out the previous chapters: Secretive Plans Bandit Camp at Kharab Fortress "Sir! Sir! Urgent Message from the southern outpost! A sudden attack from the desert king forces leaves us in dire need of support. I was scarcely able to slip through the siege lines of the desert king, to deliver this message from Captain Temas." "How could it be?! Responded Qalaq from under his white turban. That outpost is only known about by loyal supporters of the High Council, and is almost impossible to find!" "A important question, Qalaq, that we must find the answer to. it shall have to wait, however; now we must make haste to gather our forces and lend aid to Captain Temas, before the fortress falls and the men are captured. I'll send my messengers to gather troops and supplies, and we'll leave before sunset. Messenger, thank you for your work. Now go to my room, clean up, and then get some sleep. You have to be exhausted." "Thank you, sir, indeed I am. But be sure to wake me before you leave; I'll not be found here sleeping while my fellow friends battle for their lives." "Very well, I shall do so. But come now, we've much to do, let us not waste any more time talking here!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some overview pictures of the build: I would like to claim UoP credits for: General Building - mosaics, stained glass, or complex SNOTted floor designs. A simple way to make mosaic with basic bricks.A good gift for your valentine.Remind you, you must use a lot of 1x2 cheese, otherwise the build won't be so easy.I have tested it many times -- pieces won't fall out. I think 16x16 will be an optimum size of this kind of creation. My tribute to a famous Chinese ink painter Xu Beihong (1895-1953). He was primarily known for painting horses. No glue used. Unlike the real painting which was done on paper, this MOC is very thick and heavy. I use a lot of technic parts to get more than half of the slopes stuck. The size of the MOC is 44x44 studs. I think this is the maximum size allowed for this method of creation. You may have noticed all the edges were curved outwards.
