The grand opera house was alive with the energy of the dress rehearsal. Alex, the director, was giving final instructions to Maria, the soprano, and Luca, the baritone. Michael, the conductor, raised his baton, and David, the pianist, began the overture, his fingers dancing over the keys. Isabella, the woman with a double bass, adjusted her instrument, ready to play. From the balcony, Clara, the opera review writer, observed everything with keen interest. As Maria and Luca's voices filled the auditorium in a beautiful duet, a small commotion started in the loft above the stage. Michael noticed it first, his eyes widening as he tried to keep his focus on conducting. Suddenly, a spider descended from the loft, dangling right in front of Maria. She let out a small yelp but continued singing, her professionalism shining through. Alex, trying to keep the mood light, whispered to the cast, "Looks like we have a new critic in the house!" The entire cast and crew burst into laughter, even Clara couldn't help but chuckle from her spot in the balcony. The spider, seemingly unimpressed with the performance, scurried back up to the loft, leaving everyone in good spirits. As the final notes echoed through the hall, Alex clapped his hands, signaling the end of the rehearsal. The cast and crew exchanged relieved smiles, knowing they had delivered a performance worthy of the grand stage, spider and all. *** Hello, I love architecture and I decided to design an opera house to Bricklink Designer Program Series 6: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-6/2215/The-Opera---Dress-rehearsal My inspiration came from the opera houses of Budapest and Vienna. I tried to add many typical details, and decorations such as a combination of an arcade and a balcony on the front facade, statues, dormer windows, a brick-built light pole, light on the rear facade, planter etc.. The roof assembly and the auditorium balcony are removable and a big part of the rear wall is openable to make the interior space accessible. The foyer includes a bar combined with a box office, and a staircase to the auditorium and facade balconies. In the theatre there are a stage with a scenery and curtain, an orchestra with a brick-built grand piano, and an auditorium with balcony. All doors works. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore stickers are not used. The set includes 10 minifigures including the two gray statues on the facade and two animals. Dimensions of the building: Width: 34.1 studs / 10.7 in / 27.3 cm Length: 50.9 studs / 16.0 in / 40.7 cm Height: 29.2 studs / 9.2 in / 23.3 cm I hope you enjoy this set. Hi there. I'm having a strange issue each time I get embeded Youtube video in any of EB threads. There are actually several issues, but all are related to youtube videos: 1. playing video directly from thread, but it stops in like 15 seconds, with no further progress 2. playing video directly from thread, everything looks fine, until you try to click any Youtube player button or simply move a mouse 3. clicking to watch video on Youtube.com where it works fine. However when I return back to thread which had the video embeded - it crashes and automatically reloads the video space, not the whole webpage. It looks like something has changed in EB forum during past 2-3 weeks, as I didn't have such issue before, and it is the only webpage having such problem. Another moment is that all Youtube videos in EB have glossy player look, rather than plain on any other webpage (it used to be plain on EB too). I know I'm using a fancy setup (Linux + Opera) which is poorly supported and I would live with this, but it used to work properly... Wonder if I'm the only one with such an issue and if this can be fixed somehow.

My entry for CCC XVII - epic duel category. MOC inspired by Don Giovanni opera (by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Italian libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte). Scene take place at the beggining of the first act, when Don Giovanni attempts to seduce Donna Anna. Then Commendatore enters the garden. He argue and then fight with Don Giovanni. In the final Don Giovanni kills Commendatore and escapes the garden with his servant Leporello. Palace is inspired by Sevilla Real Palace Alcazar.
