This Blacktron 1 colored passenger train is modeled after the General Motors Aerotrain concept of 1955. I modified the engine to have two bogies (one of which can be replaced with a 9V motor to power the train) instead of the one bogie and one fixed axle of the original. The passenger cars were lengthened from 16 to 24 studs and Jacob's bogies placed in two spots to lessen the part count. (Yes, it bears more than a passing resemblance to a certain other space train of mine... let's just say some espionage was involved concerning the CS design plans for that train!) The train will be used on my Blacktron space base, shuttling VIP's around on tours of my base. Alternatively, it could be used to get personnel to / from the base and the off-site living quarters. (you can read more about my Blacktron fleet in it's own thread in the Sci-Fi forum.) The windows in the train were difficult to get right, but I managed to attach them. Inverted trans-yellow 2x2 slopes that would make this way easier are coming in a set releasing in March, but I'm not waiting that long! (The tail car is currently missing a few parts for the roof.) The cab roof is removable and a driver can be placed at the controls, but the coaches are totally impossible to get into due to the construction techniques used. (Also, two control panel double-cheese slopes, two 1x1 number tiles, and two radiator donut tiles are missing from the model, among a few other parts.) As for when this will be built in the real world, it will be soon. The last few parts for the train were ordered 1/14/25. Update 1/15/25! This space train station (named 'Base Terminus') is to be used with my retro-futuristic Blacktron passenger train to get staff and VIP's to and from the space base. (Some printed parts are not in the picture, but they will be when it's built in real life.) Thoughts?

Hyper Falcon I played around a bit with the idea of a car from the late '80s with some slightly updated design elements. It's a typical coupe with a mid-engine layout, in this case, right behind the seats. Yes, there is a bit of interior (though I might have made some mistakes) and the engine is under glass. P.S. The new slopes/wedges are just awesome 🤩 Bricklink Torino Classico I took some inspiration from one car after an old series of sets. I tried to make it in "classic Italian style" convertible from 70-80 with some mix of "American land yachts" Bricklink Hyperion RS Another hypercar in "24h of Le mans 2024" Bricklink To be continued...

Hey guys new to the forum but not to lego. Just started a new Youtube channel where Im speed building all the old sets i got when i was a kid. They range from about 1990-2009. Im just getting going on the channel so the list of sets will build as I go. I have roughly 2-250 sets so if you're a fan of older sets check it out. Thanks Travis

Hey everyone! This is the topic for my all-new "theme" of MOCs, a series of creations designed to emulate LEGO's official set style. I'm excited because it represents quite a stylistic/genre shift from my last project like this, Dragon Lands, which was a fantasy series. Welcome to "Body Battlers," a retro-futuristic sci-fi adventure set inside the human body! Two 1950s teens—Roy and Tara—have been shrunk down to microscopic size to help a body's white blood cells fight off a dangerous infection, led by the evil disease Infekto. In this (openly pseudo-scientific) imagination of the fight that occurs constantly inside all of us, germs and antibodies are armed for battle, piloting cool machines and bouncing from one organ system to the next in their struggle. It's all ray-guns, pulse lasers, and niftyness! I really enjoyed playing around in a new genre, exploring the intersection between 1950s pop culture, retro-futurism, and human biology. MOCing in vibrant/"rare" colors, trying to create curved lines and distinctive silhouettes, and coming up with satisfactory set concepts were my most engaging challenges. Clicking the pictures below will link you to their larger versions. If you'd like to also see play feature videos, check out my Flickr stream. 52016 Gastro’s Diner 712 Pieces Resist the evil Infekto at Gastro’s Diner! In his wicked quest to sicken everything, Infekto has decided to corrupt the stomach, so he and Symnella have attacked Gastro’s diner, where honest cells go to get their glucose. They’ve taken the joint hostage, and have even coerced Tara into waitressing… But Tara has learned some of the old diner’s secrets! Can she and the Antibody Officer save Gastro’s and free the stomach? Includes 5 minifigures. Includes 5 minifigures: Tara, Gastro, an Antibody Officer, Infekto, and Symnella. Features a 1950s-style diner complete with tiled floors, padded vinyl seating, a jukebox, a sleek counter, and a fully stocked kitchen. Also includes a viral spore cannon and a stylized roadside sign. Change the marquis on top of the diner from neon print to a working six-shot defense cannon. Hide weapons inside the jukebox and the fuse box. Send the booth and table tumbling by pressing the lever. Shoot the viral spore cannon at the diner. Cover the diner in infection, or remove the infection bits. Open up the diner to change from rectangular to linear orientation. Weapons and accessories include two double-barrel pulse pistols, a Sanitize Launcher, a viral spore launcher, an electric drill, a nausea zapper, a sniper laser, a serving tray, two milkshakes, and two plates of glucose. Diner measures more than 14” (36cm) wide, 5” (14cm) deep, and 6” (15cm) tall. 52015 DNA Defense 458 Pieces Defend the DNA from capture! The wicked Infekto has donned a gargantuan suit of robot armor, intent on stealing the body’s very blueprints, its DNA. If Infekto takes the DNA, antibody cell production will become corrupted… and the W.B.C. aren’t about to let that happen! Armed to the teeth with jetpacks, sanitize snipers, and an experimental new weapon—the “Cure Blaster”—Captain Vaccius, Antibonnie, and Roy have come ready for a final battle. Will they be able to put a stop to Infekto? Includes 4 minifigures. Includes 4 minifigures: Roy, Antibonnie, Vaccius, and Infekto. Features a giant suit of robot battle armor, featuring retro-stylized design, hefty weapon arms, and an opening pilot area. Also includes a large DNA protection bubble, a DNA observation bubble, and a mitosis facilitator. Launch the giant infection ball from the robot’s projectile arm. Fire off viral spores from the robot’s projectile arm. Turn the bar to make the robot’s fierce drill activate. Store Infekto’s pistols and arms on the robot while he operates its controls. Robot armor is fully poseable, with 11 points of articulation including a turning waist. Turn the knob at the DNA protection bubble’s base to make the genetic material inside rotate. Weapons and accessories include the Cure Blaster, two double-barrel pulse pistols, an electric drill, a nausea zapper, two sniper lasers, two jetpacks, and a cell undergoing mitosis. Robot measures more than 8” (21cm) tall, 7” (19cm) wide, and 3” (8cm) deep. DNA protection bubble measures more than 4” (11cm) tall, 3” (7cm) wide, and 4” (11cm) deep. 52014 Chevrolac Cruise Convertible 454 Pieces Patrol the bloodstream in Roy's slick Chevrolac Cruise Convertible! With oversize bubble wheels that can change between ground and flight modes, a spacious four-seat interior, and wicked cool teal paneling, this car is an ultimate vehicle for traversing the bloodstream. That's why Infekto's minion, Flooz, is so intent to take it down! Will the Chevrolac’s hidden cannon be enough to fend off the germ speeder? Includes 3 minifigures. Includes 3 minifigures: Roy, Tara, and Flooz. Features a cool 50s-style car with four-seat interior, detailed dashboard, and sleek coloring. Also includes a germ speeder and a bloodstream fuel pump. Push down the lever to convert the Chevrolac from rolling to flying, and back. Lift the Chevrolac’s hidden spring-loaded cannon to open the rear into battle mode. Open the hood to see the car's engine. Fire infection bolts from the germ speeder. Weapons and accessories include a double-barrelled pulse pistol and a raygun. Car measures more than 8” (20cm) long, 3” (8cm) wide and 2” (5cm) tall. 52013 Betrayal at the Ole Factory 317 Pieces Survive a devious betrayal at the Ole Factory! Mucus Millionaire, boss of the Ole Factory smell processing plant, believes mucus profits will increase in a germ takeover… so he’s concocted a plan to betray the rest of the body! But Roy—muckraking in the truest sense—overhears the slimy plot and copies it down on his trusty typewriter. Will Roy escape to warn the others, or will Mucus Millionaire and his Minion send him to a smelly end? Includes 3 minifigures. Includes 3 minifigures: Roy, Mucus Millionaire, and Mucus Minion. Features a functional assembly line featuring industrial greebling, cilia on the ground, and a fully positional robot arm. Also includes a catapult disguised as a stack of discarded boxes. Turn the wheel to make the conveyor belts move and the blades spin. Scan the smells with a laser powered by a light brick. Move boxes along the track to receive newly processed smells. Launch smells, the typewriter, or even Roy from the box catapult. Fire sticky vials from Mucus Millionaire’s snot-thrower. Weapons and accessories include a ray-gun, a typewriter, a wrench, a hammer, a snot-thrower with extra vial, and four captured smells. Ole Factory measures more than 11” (27cm) long, 6” (14cm) wide and 4” (11cm) tall. 52012 Nervous Break-In 213 Pieces Protect the neuron from a nervous break-in! Typhax has broken into a sensory cluster, and he’s intent on capturing a neuron, one of the body’s receptor—or is it reception?—cells. Even the resourceful Tara, armed with her best ray-gun, won’t be enough to stop him. So Tara signals for help, and Antibonnie of the W.B.C. rushes over in her nifty, decked-out patrol speeder! Can these two spiffy ladies save the neuron from Typhax’s illness? Includes 3 minifigures. Includes 3 minifigures: Tara, Antibonnie, and Typhax. Features a cool retro patrol craft with police lights, oversize engines and a bubble canopy. Also includes a neuron desk with telephone for signaling back to the brain, and a protected emergency button. Fire sanitize bolts near the patroller’s engines. Break off the patroller’s engines to simulate a crash or battle damage. Eject Antibonnie from the vehicle and engage her flying jetpack. Fold down the patroller’s landing gear. Fire the viral spores from Typhax’s laucher. Flip up the protective cover over the red button. Weapons and accessories include a viral spore launcher, a ray-gun, and a sniper laser. Patroller measures more than 6” (15cm) wide, 4” (11cm) long and 2” (5cm) tall. 52011 Phagebot Attack 92 Pieces Watch out for the fearsome Phagebot’s attack! Armed with viral spore launchers and sharp spider legs, the Phagebot is an ideal machine to abet Symnella in her devious mission to infect muscle tissue. An Antibody Officer gets dispatched to the scene— will his Santize Launcher be enough to stop the germs in their tracks, or will he be imprisoned within the Phagebot and his DNA taken hostage? Includes 2 minifigures. Includes 2 minifigures: Symnella and an Antibody Officer. Features a sinister gigantic bacteriophage-style robot, with spiderlike legs, cool spotted patterning, and a DNA prison bubble. Also includes a piece of infected tissue. Launch the viral spores at the Phagebot’s side. Turn the knob at the base to reposition the spore guns. Capture the Antibody Officer in the DNA prison bubble. Fire the Sanitize Launcher. Weapons and accessories include a Sanitize Launcher, a high-speed drill and extra viral spores. Phagebot measures more than 5” (13cm) tall and 5” (14cm) wide. _____________________________________________________________________ Thank you for looking! I'd love to hear any/all commentary you have.

This was something like a super-fast build for a LUG contest, simply with theme "space". Our hero must save Moon Governor's daughter from Plutonian Mining Robot Warrior. I wanted to achieve B-movie look, so I built the robot as toy-ish as possible, and made the minifigs arther ridiculous. I also tried to use several odd parts, like the egg dome, contrainer halves on the legs and shoulder pads, and one of them Rock Riders drills (polished and everything). There are few more shots and talk on Cyclopic Bricks. Enjoy.

Get ready to blast off into the unknown vastness of outer space! This model was inspired by set 3831, (Rocket Ride, from the 2008 Spongebob line) albeit with a pointier nose cone, and gray color scheme. The model now has a enlarged engine section with longer tail fins and four more engines, along with a crew of two humans and a robot helper. One of the human astronauts can even be seated in the fold-open cockpit. (The below story line is 100% fiction.) This ship is the forerunner for all of the other Lego space ships: in 1969, this crucial piece of history launched from LegoLand Space Port for a mission to the moon. This was very soon after the failed 1965 launch of 801-series Space Rocket, which killed the the brave crew of Kat Aclysm: female rocket science genius and designer of the experimental ship, and Abraham "Abe" Normal, the best test pilot in the academy. Their deaths at the Samsonite launch pad were not in vain though, as the newly founded LegoLand Aero-Space Authority (renamed Classic Space Command in 1978) rebuilt their reputation as the premier brick-built space agency by launching the "Innovator", also known as LL002 which in early August 1969 made history as the first mini figure - built object on the moon! This rocket and it's crew (Bill Fold, Penny Wise, and S1L-V3R the robot) made history with their two days on the moon's surface, providing the foundations for the Classic Space Moon-base series of missions. The model without the figures The model now has a enlarged engine section with longer tail fins and four more engines. The rocket features an opening section to get at the interior which now only consists of the cockpit. The model was too weak in real life when the whole thing opened up, so I was forced to solidify every section to keep it from falling apart. The trans-clear windscreen part should have this print. The crew of this fateful mission was commander Bill Fold and scientist Penny Wise, along with their robot helper S1L-V3R. (nicknamed Silver) The robot is inspired by the robot customer in the 2007 set number 4981 (another Spongebob set called The Chum Bucket), while the astronauts were inspired by the Sandy Cheeks mini-figure in set 3831. The mini-figures should feature this torso print. MISSION NOTES: Here is the inspirational set 3831, courtesy of Brickset... ...and here is the original real life version of the rocket. The LDD file for the updated rocket itself is here. As usual, comments, questions, complaints and suggestions are welcome! EDIT 6/24/17: LDD file and pictures updated for the larger and now multi-engine rocket.

The Interstellar Zephyr transports Nexus Force personnel as a very high-speed, high-security ground transport between the northern-most city of St. Nicklaus and north-pole-hugging outpost of Ice Station Odyssey, around 500 miles away. (this all takes places on the ice-bound planet of Beta Polaris, which orbits what we here call the North Star, far away from Earth.) Unlike the slower Earth trains, this Zephyr type of space-train is super-streamlined, and can go up to speeds of up to 110 MPH (135 is the loco's top possible speed) on it's special track, with super-elevated curves and long straight-a-way's over hundreds of miles, all while using Positive Train Control (PTC) on the the mostly double-track mainline, where all vehicle crossings are flyovers and switches virtually non-existent once out of St. Nicklaus city limits. This train runs along with nine other identical versions of this train (10 total trains in all) on the route with up to seven in running order on the route and at least two in the maintenance shed / in emergency backup storage at any one time. You may have noticed the train model is NOT in the original light gray "stainless steel" of the original Pioneer Zephyr on which is was (kind-of) based. The orange and white color scheme is because it's for my Nexus Force theme... to be honest, it's not even really a Zephyr that much anymore. It's more of a mix of the Pioneer Zephyr and several other concepts that began in the 1930's - '50's era, like the dome car. (To call it a hodgepodge would be accurate!) This model features three joined cars, with the power car up front, a coach, diner-dome in the middle, another coach, then the observation lounge at the rear. None of the car's roof sections come off, and their is no interior, to save on costs when this model is built in real life. The repurposed 2014 CITY Arctic logo slope on the rear of the lounge car is a missing print, as are the three dark bluish gray "donut" tiles on the loco unit. (these parts should have a engine fan / rotor print) The train uses only a few magnets to sperate the train in the middle, as having Jacobs bogies throughout with my current storage setup would have been unwise. This also leaves open the possibility for future expansion of a car or two... maybe a dome car could be in the cards somewhere down the line? (Yes, I know no shovel-nose Zephyr ever had domes... but this isn't a normal Zephyr, now is it?) You can see more details on the arctic / space base shown above in this thread in the Sci-Fi forum. Be warned, it needs to be updated with some newer pictures of stuff I designed! Thoughts on this model? EDIT 5/10/22: model completely revised and updated. EDIT #2 5/11/22 Three hundred parts found, 737 left to go on my space Zephyr. (the wrong colored window glass will be popped out an replaced when it's needed) The dome car, is not included in the totals either way as I'm still not sure it would work out to build it... even if I did make it work, I would be buying almost every single part on it. So, basically, it won't even be attempted for a while. Also, I got the shovel-nose built except for two orange slope parts.

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. I have recently re-visited a model which I started building years ago when I first dove in the world of lego technic. I have made some final adjustments and the model is now complete. It's my pleasure to share it here: 911S 2.4L from the 70's - 1800+ parts - 1:10 scale - air-cooled flat six - 4 speed manual gearbox (an adaptation of the gearbox found on @Charbel's Volcano supercar) - working steering wheel - independent rear suspension - macpherson strut front suspension (courtesy of Gergely's Technic Models on Youtube) - openable doors, bonnet, and engine cover What do you think? P.S.:This MOC shares ~70% of the parts with set 42096 - Porsche 911 RSR. And I have also make sure no blue pins are visible outside. If you are interested, instruction is available here And with the orange F150 fenders available, I'm thinking about building a Targa version too :)

I finally took pictures of this MOD of Overwatch set 75972 I've been working on basically since the set released in 2019. It's been turned into a 6-studs wide 1950's-style tow truck, and seats one figure at the wheel. The front of the truck. The rear of the truck. The cab roof is removable to seat the driver behind the wheel. NOTE: The vehicle might get changed to black later on because a printed grille (the same part type I'm already using here) in CITY 4+ set 60435 is coming out, and I always wanted the grille on my tow truck to be more pronounced. Only time will tell if this truck gets color swapped or not... Thoughts?

Hello Speed Champions and City fans, It was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3 and 4. It has received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-177592/_TLG_/school-bus I always loved American style school buses, therefore I decided to design one to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3. It is not actually based on a real one, but it contains many typical details: the black bumper rails and STOP arms on the sides, the crossing arm, the side and rear doors, the rearview and crossover mirrors, the mudguards, the warning lights etc.. The roof assembly can be removed as one piece and in this case the internal details are visible: there is a driver seat with steering wheel, dashboard, gear shift, passenger seats and even a fire extinguisher. It is 8 studs wide, studless build in minifigure scale and fits perfectly to Speed Champions cars or to a LEGO City. There are many working details: the front and rear doors, the STOP arms, the crossing arm and windshield wipers. I wanted to create a clean build and tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and hide unnecessary studs, therefore some tricky, but legal build techniques are used. The set includes three minifigures: a driver, a school girl with a pen and backpack and a school boy with a brick built backpack. The model has space for 17 minifigures: one driver and 16 passengers. If the passengers are kids with short, rigid legs, then they can stand on the seats. The building instructions guidelines have been followed. It is built from the palette "BDP Series 3", so there are some color and part restrictions. The color "Bright Light Orange" would be a bit more authentic, but the available parts are restricted, therefore I decided to use "Yellow" and I am satisfied with the result. The STOP sign is very rare part and it is not available in this palette, therefore it is replaced by a simple, white, circular sign with a sticker. The door 43967 is also not available in yellow, therefore it is replaced by a brick built one, however, in this case I was able to add some extra details: a black door handle, bottom window and red lights. I hope you like my design, I appreciate any feedback. The all time classic toy of the 20th century and to me the coolest toy right after LEGO now finally in brick form! This is my project for LEGO Ideas. It uses a classic blocky body and cubic head design to make it simple and cute. It is, as you can see, decorated with a control panel on the chest, a face with two scary red eyes and a cool little window on it's back that lets you watch the mechanism at work. And it can really walk!!! Let me know which colour and which design (arms, antennas, etc.) you like more Thank you. If you like it, please support on LEGO Ideas.

I was on vacation some time ago and I stayed with my family. They had some old LEGO from the 90's, mostly City and Western. Of course I had to tackle this mass of plastic to see what can be done :) So, it's not my usual build, but it gave me a lot of fun and some appreciation for the parts palette we have today :) I'm sorry for the picture quality, I did not have any white background save for the table cloth with lots of patterns on it ;) Full gallery is here: http://bricksafe.com/pages/Mestari/mountain-hut---retro-style

This is a set I made for LEGO Ideas, but I figured I'd share it here as well. I'm still very new on Eurobricks and this is only the very first MOC that I've posted, so I'm open any tips anyone has to offer about how to format these sorts of posts in the future. The set is based on science fiction classic Forbidden Planet and includes minifigs of all the main characters from the film, including a block-built version of Robbie the Robot, plus the weird unnamed space-car thing that Robbie drove around. I also included a minifig-scale lego version of the film's poster. I tried to make everything as accurate to the film as it was possible to get at that scale, including custom decorations for the uniforms complete with accurate rank insignias. Here's some various angles of the car thing. Sadly, I wasn't able to make it so the front opens like in the film. Here's some of Robbie. Funnily enough, he actually has greater range of articulation than the original Robbie costume/prop did. And here's some closer looks at the poster I designed for it Let me know what you think. If you like it, please take the time to support it on Lego Ideas.

This model was recreated in LDD by Eurobricks user @Stephan, which I then took and recolored in my red and gray color-scheme. I also added the opening cockpit from my older rocket model along along with new tail-fins and two less rocket stages. The two astronaut figures and one robot are also included in the LDD file! NOTE: Some parts would not fit on the rocket according to Stephan due to tolerance issues in LDD, and are left to the side in the file. They are hidden in the pictures, but they are there, so be alert when building in real life. You have been warned! Fictional background info for the rocket: This ship is the forerunner for all of the other Lego space ships: in 1970, this crucial piece of history launched from LegoLand Space Port for a mission to the moon. This was very soon after the failed 1965 launch of 801 series Space Rocket, which killed the the brave crew of Kat Aclysm: female rocket science genius and designer of the experimental ship, and Abraham "Abe" Normal, the best test pilot in the academy. Their deaths at the Samsonite launch pad were not in vain though, as the newly founded LegoLand Aero-Space Authority (renamed Classic Space Command in 1978) rebuilt their reputation as the premier brick-built space agency by launching the "Innovator", also known as LL001 which in early August 1969 made history as the first mini figure - built object on the moon! This rocket and it's crew (Bill Fold, Penny Wise, and S1L-V3R the robot) made history with their two days on the moon's surface, providing the foundations for the Classic Space Moon-base series of missions. The model still separates into sections, but the top most one of these has been replaced, thus reducing the segments to three. The rear of the rocket features five engines, the middle section a smaller bank of five thrusters, while the cockpit section has one singular engine. The cockpit still opens, and as usual should feature this print. The rocket features enlarged tail-fins inspired by 1950's / 60's science fiction. The fins SHOULD be able to take the weight of the rocket when standing vertical, but I'm not 100% sure, so build at your own risk. You have been warned! The height of the Saturn V dwarfs the smaller rocket of the previous design. (The older model is NOT in the LDD file!) The robot is inspired by the robot customer in the 2007 set number 4981 (a Spongebob set called The Chum Bucket), while the astronauts were inspired by the Sandy Cheeks mini-figure in set 3831 (Rocket Ride). The astronauts should have this print on their torsos. Here is the LDD file for the modified Saturn V, which also includes the two bubble - helmeted astronauts and the robot. The model is 100% build able in real life, and should be built by me around Christmas this year. Comments, questions and complaints are always welcome! EDITED 8/8/17: added new pictures and updated ldd file!

For a while now I've been thinking.... "Why doesn't anybody make fallout mocs?" So 2 hours later and a box of lemonheads I came up with this. From left to right the characters are as follows: The Chosen One, Marcus the Supermutant, Dogmeat, and an Enclave Soldier. I also made this mini cactus build. I made it to resemble the death screen in fallout 1 and 2. Thanks for checking it out! Also be sure to leave any feedback in the comments.

I made a retro MOC of 8860 from 1980. The LEGO 8860 is a classic one that I will call a theme because it is so many private persons who has made different versions of it. My moc has all the functions that the original one has plus suspention also on front wheels. 3 speed gearbox, 4 sylinders, adjustable seats, suspention on all wheels, and steering, of course.

These diesel F7-like locos were inspired by set 10020, (Santa Fe Super Chief) and my dark bluish gray with white / light gray stripes train cars. The cab and booster units feature no interior details because I have no need for such items on my layout.. that and retrofitting all my trains with inside stuff would be quite costly. The name of this train these engine's pull is a play off the Missouri River Runner, a real train that Amtrak runs from Kansas City to St. Louis. The Meramec River runs next to the Wabash Frisco & Pacific, so I switched the name to the Meramec River Runner for my railroad. The number 7301 goes on the sides of the nose just before the windscreen, while BRS (standing for my railroad's name, Brick Railway Systems) should go in the middle of the cab unit's sides, just above the fuel tank. (I don't have all the tiles yet, so their is a blank spot for the railway name) The nose features two headlights and a split windscreen. The rear of each of the locos feature doorways to the next engine compartment, and / or the passenger train itself. Combination baggage and passenger car. (I built these cars a while ago, (about 2 years) but they needed better pictures and go with the newer diesel locomotives, so here they are.) three identical passenger coaches The observation coach of the Meramec River Runner. This car lacks the letters BRS (standing for Brick Railway Systems) but it is owned by that line. The train cars by themselves are inspired by the Wabash Frisco & Pacific passenger cars, except these are dark gray and not blue. Their is no LDD file for this train, but comments, questions, complaints, and suggestions are always welcome!

Pretty much as soon as pictures of the City Space 2019 sets appeared online, AFOLs were pointing out their conceptual similarities to Classic Space. I have taken that a step further by recolouring one of the 2019 sets, 60224 Satellite Service Mission, making it consistent with the Classic Space sets of the early to mid-1980s. It is not a true retro mod as the parts and building techniques are those of today, not those of 35+ years ago. So it should really be called Neo Classic Space. I replaced the minifigure with one more in keeping with the earlier period. The repositioning of the wingtips, if you're wondering, was not to make the ship more retro. I just think they look better attached underneath than on top. Here is the 2019 set: And here is my mod: I like to think that the satellite to be deployed by the ship will be communicating with the Classic Space mobile station (and ATV) I recreated a few years ago and still in my display collection: I haven't yet decided whether I will retro mod any of the other 2019 City Space sets. If anyone wants to post below their own mod of 60224 or indeed any other of this summer's releases, please do. I would be most interested in seeing what is out there. Questions, comments, classic colour confusion?
