  1. Hi guys Finally, I could continue with my Scania with Palfinger project. With the ordered parts I could finish the chassis of the truck. The truck is controlled with on PU Hub and a mechanical selector gera box for 2 x 3 functions. I tried to document the funtions in the following video:
  2. This year I spent less time online due to several reasons (like my career) but I haven’t been hanging around when it comes to LEGO. Next to co-organize LW I built a couple of models and one of them is this Scania T143 bulk hauler. I originally started with mk1 in 2016 but gave it an overhaul in 2017. For sure it is based on Ingmar Spijkhoven’s model but actually I wanted to give it a personnal touch. Is has another chassis and drive train which is more based on Jaaptechnic’s Actros. The cab is different from Ingmar’s. I chose for the original side panels with the typical 2-series and 3-series shapes. The rear panel got the same treatment. The truck is powered by a singe XL motor with is strong enough to pull a drawbar trailer. Both bodyworks can tip with a XL motor and it has lights on front and rear. It is supplied with an SBrick. Special thanks to Dirk Klijn and Jaaptechnic for the high quality decals. For more pictures please have a look in my album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskrBEUtv
  3. hello, this is my new moc for Scania R560 with EFFER Crane (Hong Kong Truck Style) it has 2 XL motors for driving, 1 servo for steering, 4 M motors for crane, 2 M motor for outrigger hope you like it my flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/155540594@N07/albums
  4. My new lego truck, a Kenworth T600 with daycab.
  5. hello everyone, this is my new moc: RC SCANIA R620 8x4 Heavy tractor truck, it has 3 XL motors for driving, and one servo motor for steering, thanks and enjoy photos
  6. Hi guys Recently, I finished another model. It is a tractor unit inspired by Scania S-Series trucks. It has 6x4 drive and suspended axles. The front axle is suspended with normal LEGO hard shock absorbers. The rear axles have rubber suspension which imitates air-suspension as used in real trucks. The suspension at the rear axles is a bit hard but chassis is in return flat. The fifth wheel as a self-locking mechanism so that you can couple a trailer easily. To open the fifth wheel a small linear actuator is used. For steering a PU L motor sits directly on the front axle. For propulsion I used two PU XL motors. But check the pictures and video: Instruction at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-86508/FT-creations/6x4-tractor-unit-inspired-by-scania/#details
  7. Hello all, In this topic I will show my progress on my Scania 140 Super, in Astran livery. I don’t know if you people know this English transport company, but it was the leader in road transport to far-away destinations, first the Middle East, later also Russia, Ukraine and the Balcan. I read a book about this company (now a few months ago) and last week I suddenly got the idea to build a truck from it. As said, it will be a Scania 140 Super. I already made the chassis, with a detailed V8 fake engine, one of the trademarks from Scania. The model is going to have HOG steering, (problably) an openable cab, and details like fuel tanks, roof rack, luggage, interior, etc. Now a few pics to show the original and what I have made so far. The chassis is finished, so now on to the cab, which probably will be the trickiest part. I know the chassis is a bit unconventional build, but I don’t wanna order any extra parts just for this model, that’s also why the middle of the bed is blue. Any feedback is welcome! Thanks for reading. I’m not quite sure if this belongs in Technic or in Scale Modeling, but because this model isn’t a particular scale I think it fits best in Technic Forum. I think it fits best to the Model Team description, even if that isn’t really what this model is.
  8. hello everyone, let me introduce my new moc : Fully RC G480 Crane Truck, it has over ten lego motor and 4 ir receiver. video ready ON: https://www.facebook.com/shineYucorner/videos
  9. The Next Generation Scania was presented in August, and I knew that I was going to build it. I was hoping to be the first in the world to make this Next Generations Scania out of lego, and I think I am! Instructions is available at my site: https://sites.google.com/view/thinkcleverandsmart/lego-instructions?pageId=102920453997454125884 Video is on youtube:
  10. Hi Guys, I would like to share my 8x8 medium dump truck with you. The target was to create 8x8 dump truck with 4 differencials in compact size with good driving abilities. It drives quite well, but due to large amount of gears, even XL motor have some trubles (wont stop, but you can hear little bit) while steering/climbing, but I'm happy with result, even view could be better. Some info: Propulsion: 8x8 by PF XL Steering: 8x4 by PF Servo (different angle for second axle) 1 Differencial for each axle Dumping by 1 M motor. No suspension, but thanks to flexible body, it can go well over obstacle. Opanable doors I'm sorry for really bad quality pictures, will upload short video soon. What do you think?
  11. Hey there! I'm happy to present my new project - a Scania R500 replica modified with trailer and a small crane. Size: 64 (76) x 16 x 28 (47) centimeters (numbers in brackets are the max. size in working mode) Weight: 2.1kg Functions: double rear wheels connected to V8 engine under the cabin, steering, openable doors and cabin, functioning crane (turntable - 2 sections - grab). Unfortubately, all the electrics are currently busy in my other WIP, so it's more of a bookshelf model :) Thanks for watching!
  12. Hi everyone! This is my first MOC. Besides the gearbox, it´s my own design. 4 RC functions: 1. Drive (L-motor) 2. Steering (L-motor) 3. Cabin tilt (L-motor) 4. Sequential gearbox N+1+2+3 (Servo-motor) The gearbox is a modified version of a gearbox constructed by DurianObried. The shift mechanism is a modified version of Jaco4´s design. It works very well and shifts gear fast. Front and rear suspension, small turning radius and working steering wheel. More pictures on Brickshelf. http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=565719 Here is a picture on the gearbox shift mechanism. To the left you can see the servomotor shifting the gearbox.
  13. Hello all I'd like to show you the recent addition to the logistics in Lego City: A 60ton Truck, in a B-train configuration. A B-Train is a tractor with a trailer, and the trailer also has a fith wheel (the thing where the trailer is connectec) to connect another trailer. The advantage of this type of truck is, that you can take out the middle part to get a regular truck with tractor and trailer which can be used anywhere in Europe, while the B-trains and other long combinations of trucks (called EuroCombi) only are allowed in Scandinavia, or mainly Sweden. They have a lenght up to 25.5m (86,6ft) and a weight up to 60t (132000pounds). The tractor is a Scania V8, no I didn't build a motor but there is the V8 logo on the backside in the cabin. On the inside there are two beds, one of them can be folded away and two seats (obviously ). The driver also wants to take breaks so there is a small fridge and a coffee machine over the windscreen. On the front there are a lot of lights and also a bar to prevent damages when crashing with a wild animal, what unfortunatly isn't uncommun in the northern parts of Scandinavia. Let's take a look on the pictures: Scnaia B-Train by StefanEris, auf Flickr Scania V8 interior 1 by StefanEris, auf Flickr Scania V8 interior 2 by StefanEris, auf Flickr Scania V8 interior 3 by StefanEris, auf Flickr Scania 40t by StefanEris, auf Flickr And last but not least a picture of a real B-Train on the Finnish-Swedish border: B-Train by StefanEris, auf Flickr To my American friends: I think that there are a lot of B-trains on your roads which can't be separated, since they transport loads of sand, gravel and such things. If you have some information or see any mistakes feel free to share it. Have fun Stefan
  14. Hey all, It's about time I made my first post on the sub-forum This is my Scania T143M I have been working on on-and-off for the past few months (a year now probably ), it is Ingmar's Scania, but I am modifying it to suit my needs. I am doing it in TNL's colours, I am not aware of TNL ever having a T143, but I like their fleet and think it works quite well on the Scania. Behind it I will be putting a five axle flat deck A-train such as the one below: This is my progress so far: The Scania repainted before any modifications were done As it is now. I have replaced the painted bumper with a chrome bullbar, chromed tanks, a sun visor with lights and removed the floodlights. Before I build this physically I would also like to add front mudflaps and put a nicer exhaust on it. Any thoughts or improvements you have are more than welcome, I'll update this thread whenever I make some decent progress.
  15. Years ago I had a wish to build a truck. And.. I had plenty of white bricks. So I googled some white trucks and it just happened that I found a Scania T-cab wrecker truck from Slades Garage. Somehow I even got in contact with Matt, the driver (and owner?) of the truck. I contacted him for more pics and features of the truck. But.. he didn't replay in time. The first version of my model had pneumatic features on it. Many of functions where wrong. Then.. months later fellow Mocker - Dennis from Netherlands - discovered my moc and offered me few more pics of the truck from one of the truck-shows. That gave me opportunity to observe the details more closely and build a better version, a second version. And this time I went for remote control features. But - as the electric motors were stronger than previous pneumatics (and they also took more space) the result was more fragile. So there was a second rebuild, a third version with entirely new chassis, built out of lego technick. So.. after something like three years and countless iterations, I consider the moc finished. It has eight functions - all four by two channels are used: - Driving (XL motor - channel 1) - Steering (M motor - channel 1) - Left outtrigger (M motor - channel 2) - Right outtrigger (M motor - channel 2) - Raise / lower main boom (L motor - channel 3) - Underlift (M motor - channel 3) - Extract / detract main boom (L motor - channel 4) - Spool (M motor - channel 4)
  16. Hey all I´m exited to introduce my second MOC here on Eurobricks. I am a true rookie when it comes to building with system bricks, as I've spent more time doing Technic stuff. I tried to make this MOC more realistic than the fire engines that Lego usually releases, and I´ve drawn inspiration from real Scania fire vehicles. Because i wanted to make this thing closer the real thing, I've spent some time at the local fire station, getting to know the real machines. I’m very grateful for comments, questions and suggestions for improvements. Hope you like it, and thanks for taking the time to watch the pictures. Features All doors and hatches can be opened/closed Fully decorated and detailed interior in the cabin Lots of different details that relates to the real deal. Room for 4 minifigs with accessories. 558 parts (without the minifigs) I am very grateful for your support over at Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/b991a9d2-2265-4ed9-afda-91b9cf0d7f28 Pictures (Bigger pictures in my Flickr account: https://www.flickr.com/photos/131504322@N02/albums) The truck is 8 studs wide, 11 studs high and 17 studs long. This MOC is actually fun to play with. Loaded with equipment, a water cannon and 4 minifigs the possibilities are many. All doors can be opened. The left side is for technical evacuation and rescuing of trapped persons. Here you'll find the hydraulic tools, power tools and life vests. It thinks firefighters deserve appreciation. The salary is low, but still they risk their lives for everybody else. In the back of the truck you find pump controls and connection point for water hoses. The right side of the truck contains tools for firefighting. Different nozzles, hoses and the Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) If I had a Scania sticker, I would have used it. For now this is proud product of Autoparts. On the roof, you@ll find the water cannon, ladders, hoses, tools and of course the obligatory fire axe. Detalied interior with communication equipment, GPS, IR-camera, flashlights and binoculars. The setup matches real fire engines. "Firefighting is all about megablocks. Busting ours to save yours" Updated picture of the cabin interior. (Rendered in Bricklink Studio) Another color scheme, since yellow seems to be the new white in modern fire engines. (Rendered i Bricklink Studio) Thanks for watching :-)

  18. Hello everyone, I have been in contact with a few fellow eurobrickers and some of them have wanted a truck topic where we can all share different designs for our trucks and trailers. These designs could also include maybe some clever and effecient suggestions to show others how you made your amazing MOC! All forms of trucks are accepted tow trucks to mighty expedition trucks! Post your truck, or gain inspiration from others! For starters I will share mine: A sporty flatbed truck!

  23. Hi all, For the video I’ve yet to make featuring my Swedish Litt. S1 locomotive, I felt some background decoration was needed. So I chose to build a Swedish vintage truck in 1/33 scale: a Scania-Vabis 355, one of the first cab-over-engine trucks (though not a true one, as the engine remained directly behind the front axle and the driver had to squeeze in beside/behind it). Some parts of the model are a bit fragile, so I didn’t want to turn it over after completion. A render image has to suffice to show the bottom side … Thanks for your interest! Best regards, Sven
  24. Hello everyone! Scania R730 racing truck model for circuit racing. The creation was based on a serial Scania R truck truck with minor alterations: the engine was moved to the middle of the frame, and a spoiler was added. The model does not have a real prototype, the car is rather a collective image of racing trucks. The truck model is approximately 1:20 scale. It has the following functions: movement (carried out by means of a drive to the rear axle by 2 L motors), L motor is used to turn the front wheels. In the cabin there is a small battery pack and a sbrick. Additional features: two-speed gearbox, working steering wheel in the cabin, "neon" illumination of the bottom of the car. 25. Hello everyone! I present to your attention the Scania T143 truck model. The model is made in 1:20 scale. XL motor is used for movement, L motor is used to turn the front wheels. The semi-trailer is equipped with an automatic tipping body. The model is able to transport and independently unload up to 2 kg of bulk cargo. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/legov94/
