Hi everyone I wanted to share my latest creation called "Seaside Memories". It's a little beach scene inspired by my childhood holidays at the British Seaside. The model contains less than 250 bricks and is built on a 16 x 16 plate. I've included 2 traditional beach huts and striped deck chairs, sandcastles, a picnic on the sand and much more. Everything you need for a fun day out at the beach. The beach huts both feature simple interiors details. I entered this model in to a recent LEGO IDEAS contest to design a seaside themed set. I'm really pleased to say that today it has been chosen as one of the 15 finalists in the contest. It's now down to a public vote to decide the winner and if this model wins it will be made in to a future gift with purchase LEGO set. If you like the look of the model then I'd be hugely grateful if you could give it your vote on LEGO IDEAS. Voting is open until 25th May. https://bit.ly/Legoseaside Anyway thanks for checking out my latest MOC and feel free to let me know what you think.

Hello fellow EB members; I've made a small MOC to experiment with different techniques and see what I can do with narrower buildings to what I'm used to. This is a Mediterranean influenced street with a Surf shop, restaurant and place to buy ice cream. It's taken a month or so to put together, no interiors but 3 pics to show you what I've come up with; If you have any comments or questions about techniques etc, please ask! If you wish to view them at Flickr you can find them here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/52656812@N04/ Cheers!

Teensietown is a modular LEGO microscale city based on the "Micropolis" standard published by TwinLUG but with some slight amendments that suit us there and then better. It is a growing thing, and most impressive when exhibited. Anyone who cares to look more closely can find an old LEGOLAND-Set, as well as a model of the televisiontower of Prague. Everything else was built from inspiration and imagination. Here you can find a lot of the buildings extracted from the whole thing as well as info on the co-builders: http://teensietown.weebly.com/ Sherv, a fellow of my local LUG, has ignited the whole idea, I am responsible especially for the waterway management, and more recently railroads and highway. The easy thing with the project is for me, that one can build with the parts that one has and doesn't have to buy too much bricks to make it look good. Thanks to the modular system, the city looks different everytime it gets exposed. Some more pics can be found now and then at our LUG's forum (german) here: http://forum.lgoe.at...hp?topic=3563.0 Hope ya like it!
