Hello World! This is my first post in this forum and i will start with my second work, a Ferrari F488 Spider. Later i will post my first work, a Chevrolet Camaro or you can just see it now in my Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/springoff) I will have instructions for this Ferrari but i dont know when. Arachnophobes look away now, because the Maelstrom spider boss is BACK! As seen in the cinematic trailer (link to Youtube) for LEGO Universe, The Spider Boss was imagined by Baron Typhonus as a creature of pure chaos in the Mythran Temple and brought to life by the power of the Imagination Nexus. The Baron created the Spider Boss to demonstrate the possibilities of Imagination without rules. The Spider smashed a Robot Dog (that had just been created by Doctor Overbuild) and moved to attack Duke Exeter, Dr.Overbuild, and Hael Storm as Baron Typhonus laughed in triumph. However, creatures of chaos serve no master; the Spider turned on Typhonus and dragged him into the Imagination Nexus. This action corrupted the Nexus and mutated it into the Maelstrom. I recreated this MOC from instructions on Rebrickable by user Brigs, as seen here. I had to change some parts' colors around (as it wasn't buildable in original form without selling a kidney), and other parts were weakly attached. For example: Those two black wedge slopes on the rear of the body were originally purple, but couldn't be bought in quantity due to them being from one 2014 X-Men set. This made it impossible to get them at a reasonable price. That's all for now, thoughts and comments are always appreciated! -

Location: H03 Kaalin Tags: Land vehicle, Military building Continued from here - Echo Five: I don't like it captain, it just doesn't seem right, do we work for Octan now? Captain: I hear you five, but we really need to focus on the mission. Seven, whats you analysis of the base show? Echo Seven: I'm not getting any power readings or life signs. The Base seems intact with a mining laser and multiple auto turrets. - Captain: That doesn't seem right. I have never heard of an Octan Military building. Hawk can you confirm that? - note to judges: this picture is reused from last week and should not be judged -Hawk: Stuart say that an unknown group has been performing raids on their science facilities on Kaalin. They have had to upgrade their defenses on most of the outposts on the planet. - Captain: Alright team, lets sweep this building for survivors. We can get this over with and move on. - Captain: What could have caused this. Seven: I don't know sir but I'm getting some strange readings from down there. Five: Great, it's confirmed, everyone is dead. Now can we get out of here? Captain: Five, we aren't done here but i agree that we need to wait for reinforcements before we move forward. Hawk are you seeing this? Hawk: We are seeing this, but we are also getting high Birckowski wave readings from your area. It's almost like there is a Gate anomaly in your ar..... can.. y....h.... - Captain: Hawk your breaking up. Can you hear me? Team we have lost comms. Lets get out of here. Seven: Captain behind you! - Captain: Who are you and what are you doing here? How did you even get here? Spider Agent: My name doesn't concern you, but I am from a group by the name of Spider. Captain: Are you behind all of this? Spider: Oh heavens no. I do know what did this though . It is a creature called a terramite. You may have seen one before. Octan started taking core samples over a terramite nest and woke it up. It didn't end well for them. Captain: Never heard of it. So there are no survivors? Spider: I'm afraid the personnel at this base stood little chance. MANTIS has come across one in the past but you might know it as a spitting devil, although that one was very young they still had a tough time taking it out. This one is much bigger. I need your team to help me kill it. Five: I was on that mission to kill the thing. It took out two of my squad mates. It has a thick exoskeleton. We would need heavy artillery to scratch that thing. There ain't nothin we can do to help you kill that thing. - Captain: I have to agree with him. It sounds like a suicide mission. Why would we want to help you anyway? Spider: Because my associate in the stealth suit is standing behind you with a laser sword. I wouldn't make any sudden movements. I don't want to spill any MANTIS blood un-nessissarily, but she can get a little excited. And make no mistake, you will be little more then bait in my web. Spider Assassin: Just follow me. Hi there! Just want to show a small MOD that I have done, using the Darth Maul polybag (5000062) that was given away with a SW purchase here in Asia! I had always wanted to build a spidey Darth Maul that featured in The Clone Wars and this giveaway made it possible! Full credits to Forresto and his B'omarr monk MOC too. His B'omarr monk was just perfect and I just adapted the spider legs and made some modifications for the abdomen so that it looks closer to the Darth Maul spider that I was looking for. The Undoing of Shriza the Spider Legends tell of many monsters in the depths of the Wither Woods and it is unwise to stray off the path. But when such horrors grow bold enough, or desperate enough, to leave their shadows and venture among civilized dwellings they may not be ignored. Such events led Aarash and the Batuhanian Guard deep into the forest to kill the terror which had plagued the farmsteads to the north. It was only a matter of time when it wouldn’t be a goat or calf that was taken, but a child. Rumors described an eight-legged menace, a shadow that hunted silently in the dark hours of the night. Aarash clung to those rumors as he traversed the ever-darkening woods. Soon webs, the size of a man, could be seen amongst the trees. Torn and ragged they looked, but menacing. As the ground declined beneath their steps the forest became quiet. Only feet treading through the undergrowth made any sound. That is when snap was heard; not of twig, but of a branch up ahead. Shriza Approaches “Shriza, the Spider!” one soldier cried, pointing directly ahead. They had found themselves at the end a slight ravine, with a monster of a spider ahead. “Hold!” Aarash cried out as Shriza approached, and then “Attack!". Attack! Archers Thankfully, Aarash’s archers were flanking on the right and they had many spears at their disposal. But it would not be enough. Her hide was tough and she was nimble. Our blows were either deflected or missed entirely. Just when the situation was looking grim, A group of centaurs rode in from the west. Centaurs Their arrows shot true and pierced the vulnerable parts of the spider menace. Once on the ground, the stabbing spears finished the job. Aarash turned to thank the centaurs, but they had already fled back into the forest. Despite the darkness of the forest, the return journey was merry knowing their people could sleep soundly tonight. My entry into the Medieval Monster Menace category of the 2020 Colossal Castle Contest (CCC XVIII).

After the exhibition season, back to the bench and nothing better than a good old TIE variant to boost my creativity. Let's all hail the TIE-Krykna. TIE-Krykna by Veynom, on Flickr It is the improbable hybrid between a classic TIE-Fighter, an imperial or separatist walker, and a few Bionicle parts. Nightmarish, isn't it? TIE-Krykna by Veynom, on Flickr TIE-Krykna by Veynom, on Flickr TIE-Krykna by Veynom, on Flickr Inspiration came when after liking an internet meme mixing a TIE-Fighter cockpit with legs from a "Homing Spider" (set 75016). Just doing the same was too easy, and not stable enough to my taste. Besides, I had that bag of unused Bionicle parts received from a friend... The name "Krykna" was inspired by my wife who rightfully (Rule N2: Wifes are always right) told me that it can't be a TIE-Spider as spiders have 8 legs and my TIE-thing has only 6 of these. For a brief moment, I strongly considered re-engineering the entire MOC to include 2 more legs. Ultimately, I decided first to google for Star Wars spiders and found the Krykna. This horrible beast from SW Rebels was perfect. No need to rebuild everything, exit the TIE-Spider and long live the TIE-Krykna. Rebranding was less cumbersome. Note that I did not flinch when my wife spoke about "oh, no, not another TIE-thing!", because I remembered just in time about rule N1: Wifes are right. PS: for those who want to know rule N3: it is easy: 'In case of doubt, refer to rule N1".

Although I can't participate in the "Space Pirates" contest by using LEGO's Digital Designer (and changing colours etc.), I still felt inspired by the contest's theme. Hi! I would like to introduce you my series of creations that is a story about Oliver's horrifying night. Enjoy. This is Oliver. He´s a very average middle-aged man, who goes to work every morning, makes his monthly house loan payments on time and enjoys things like watching sports on TV and eating junk food. Sometimes he goes to the pub and drinks a beer or two, as you can see. However, Oliver´s got a problem: at night he suffers from awful nightmares. Oliver goes to bed but has a feeling that the night is going to be hard. Oliver trying to get some sleep by Heksu, on Flickr Oliver fell asleep fast at night, but the torture began soon. Oliver, who suffers from arachnophobia but loves reading, has already seen this same nightmare many, too many, times. Spider attack by Heksu, on Flickr Because of the spider nightmare Oliver’s shirt was dripping with sweat, and he woke up to change a dry one. It was only a couple of minutes past twelve o’clock. Oliver fell asleep again. The next dream started this time quite promisingly. Oliver was hiking in a rainforest that was full of beautiful and colorful flowers and other vegetation. It was surprisingly quiet, as if all the animals would have been hiding. There weren’t even mosquitoes disturbing! Oliver found a stream and filled his water bottle. Then he sat down against a rock face and drank. But no paradise without a… In the rain forest by Heksu, on Flickr It seems that Oliver's nightmares won't stop. Oliver has in his garden a decayed pine tree that he should cut down. However, Oliver has avoided the task, because he's afraid that something goes wrong... like in this nightmare. Hi, I would like to present my latest MOC: The McLaren 675 LT Spider It is a full RC model with the following functions: - independent suspension on all wheels - butterfly doors - RC drive (2x L-motor) - RC steering (1x servo motor) - RC spoiler (1x M-motor) - RC convertible roof (1x M-motor) A video of the model can be found on Youtube: Instructions for both the red and a white version are available from my website: This model was built in commission, which I have to thank my client for, because I otherwise I would have dismissed this challenge as too ambitious. I always had the ambition of making a car with a convertible roof, but I always shied away from it since I had no idea how to make such a feature. Then to make a convertible roof that is remote controlled and has a an extra pivotpoint in the roof itself I would never have tried. With the release of the Spider-Trike vs. Electro, many fans have been overwhelmed to see a minifigure of Electro. However the main build in the set has garnered a substantial amount of negative publicity. So, for those of us who do not plan to build the set once we get it, what would you say would be a good alternate build for the set? You may use up to 2 copies of the set (the vehicle alone should not cost a lot) and perhaps use a couple of other parts (nothing too rare please) Hope to see some great builds! -Godtshep.

This Halloween MOC is placed upside down in order to make the spiders crawl on ceiling. In the meantime, I purposefully try to cover this up with lighting design and scene setup.
