This modular building-style corner LEGO store was heavily inspired by set 31105 (Townhouse Toy Store from Creator) while the LEGO delivery truck is modified version of the postal vehicle from set 10222 (Winter Village Post Office) whereas the sidewalk burger stand is directly taken from 60404. (City Burger Truck) The building also draws from some free Rebrickable instructions you can see here. The building is a bit short in the height department compared to official modulars, but when next to my custom buildings it fits right in! On this side we see the second-floor patio. The lower floor is the shop's sales floor, and also has a enclosed delivery area off to the side. The shop sells all manner of Lego sets and pre-built models for sale. The burger stand's roof also is removable. The second floor is a apartment, and features a bare minimum of features to sustain life, but it does have a gigantic Lego train layout in the corner. (somebody has their priorities in order!) This truck is heavily inspired by the 1920s truck from the first Winter Village post office. The doors on both sections open, and the truck seats one figure at the wheel. (Oh how I wish those rear doors came in yellow!) Hello Everyone, I recently Found out that store's are opening up that only sell used LEGO parts, currently in Salt Lake City Utha area, BAM! Bricks & More Toy Store and Bricks and Minifigs "Franchise" and am wondering if anyone else has seen store fronts opening up any ware else in the world. I am interested in seening any store fronts from around the world so please share and also what is your take on Bulk LEGO stores.

(NOTE to the mods: This model could go in the adventure forum, but since it's origin is a CITY-like set, I placed it here in the town forum. I hope that's okay!) Heading out for parts unknown, searching for lost treasure, discovering ancient civilizations, fighting the mysterious forces of evil and finding helpful allies, all in far-way lands not on any map! Check your compass, secure your gear and plot your course: It's all in a days work for the ADVENTURERS! (and yes, that was supposed to sound like a early TV / radio drama intro. ) I took the "Old Fishing Store" Ideas set number 21310 and turned back the clock on it from a rundown fishing shop in the modern era to a modular 1920's supply depot for Johnny Thunder and his friends, also known as the Adventurers. I added a set 7596-style freight Crane that's a part of "Trash Compacter Escape" (a Toy Story 3 set from 2010). I revised the color scheme of the mainly yellow building instead of the original sand green, and removed a ton of the mixed bunch of colors that were used a "patch jobs" on the dock and building proper. I removed the roof and redid it completely to be brick-built with slopes instead of plates and tiles at an certain angle. I also stripped the many windows styles off and replaced them with a single type. I added a warehouse section to the lower floor by sending one of the walls about 16 studs back, allowing for storage space for various equipment not yet designed. The back wall of the building shows off the new wall art placed on the roof section of the building: a giant propeller from a ship of some kind. I also am going to use the "Great" and "West" printed parts for the sign out on the front of the building where the "Anton's bait shop" 4 x 2 tile originally was. The back wall still opens in two sections, but the inside is a rough estimate. Some parts I already have from my previous depot model from almost 1 1/2 years ago, such as the safe, radio and various maps. Also, the two freight loading doors actually open and shut quite nicely. The model comes apart into four sections, with the main roof, tower, tower roof, and main building + dock all separating from each other. The crane was totally copied from my previous depot model, which itself was duplicated and color-changed from the dark green / white one in the Toys Story 3 set I mentioned earlier. That's all I've got so far with the building (which is coming soon in real bricks)... any thoughts or ideas for this model? As usual, Comments, Questions, & Complaints are always welcome. I'm starting to work on a Mcdonald's MOC and I just got done finishing the M logo. The red panel in the bottom center would have the sticker from 3438. I was just hoping for some feedback and if there is a better way to make that M. Thanks!

I haven't had much time for building this year so I'm going to declare my London-style hat shop done (even though it still needs some work here and there). I'm posting it and adding it to my modular street. The first floor is hat shop. The black tiles on the sides are chalkboards for daily advertisements. I may create stickers for these in the future. Right now there is a sale on pith helmets (which are wonderfully stackable). You can't really see in this photo but the mirror piece from the detective office is built into the dresser with the clock. Upstairs is a small apartment with a bedroom loft reached by ladder. This is my fourth modular building and first one that really got me angry at LEGO. I'll explain that at this end of my post. This is a Jewellery Store at the ground floor, followed by an apartment on first and second floors. What I wanted to achieve with this build was to have a living space that was complete. Eventually I missed the bathroom having only toilet there. What I did crammed in there is the living room, kitchen and toilet on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor (the little boy has blankets made of reindeer skin ;) ). There is also a storing room on the ground floor and a swing for the boy (where he left his teddy bear). I have also made a little area surrounded by foliage overgrown stone wall. The entry to the apartment is through the gate and at the side of the building. So, let's have a look at all of the modules together: First let's have a closer look at the ground floor: and a view from the back: and a front with LOVELY dark green bricks. Each in different version of what was supposed to be the same colour: Now for the first floor with living room, kitchen and toilet: and the last floor: Here is another view of the building: and now I'll tell you what made me angry (apart from those dark greens, that is). First, it was also DBGs and bright pink that were all over the place with colour accuracy. Have a look at that: Then, much more serious trouble. This is what happened when I tried to build with 1x2 bricks: Nice, isn't it? It was even worse if you kept on building like that so I had to disassemble everything and start again, but this time I had to use 1x4 bricks as much as I could to avoid warping the baseplate and rising the whole building. Pathetic. But it's not all. Later came 1x2 plates. This is what those do: Same thing, but here I need only one layer of them and was albo counter fight this effect with 1x4 bricks on top. Lastly, cheese slopes. I have 2x6 of them on the front. You guessed it right. On the left side 4 out of 6 cracked. Because. I was rather displeased, to say the least as those are all new bricks and I have more similar stories to tell lately so I contacted LEGO service via e-mail. They politely told me to sod off. Only after me calling them I was able to get replacement for broken and cracked pieces. Shame on you LEGO... :/ PS. Full gallery for this modular is here: http://bricksafe.com...jewellery-store

Lego Facade,all this is only six studs wide! and has a brick count of less than just one modular building,The idea behind this model is to allow collectors who struggle with space for the large modular buildings to display this with ease on any standard shelf. with a brick count of less than one normal modular build you get three,There is the hardware store with tools for sale,a hat shop just in case your mini figures want a new look,and last but not least a fish store for all your pet fish needs,be careful tho the contractors tearing up the walk way. All the stores have goodies inside to play with and a few secrets to discover as well ? Hey guys, I just wanted to share this set I got today with my Lego shop order (airjitzu temple). I am not a fan or actually knew anything about this set line but you can easily rid the snowman of his beach hell ^^ and place some figs on it. Also the pieces are quite nice for other sets. I especially like the blue plate. Either way, I just wanted to share this set with you and well have a nice day :)

Old Fishing Store – Modular creator Building The Story My story for this modular building was that the Old Fishing Store is based upon a Sea Front village Theme. I liked the old Fishing villages so I built this one on Lego Digital Designer (LDD). I really believe that this model could have a lot of genuine interest to fans of Modular an creator sets. This is the first of a series of modular creator buildings that I will be making. Summary The building consists of roughly 2160 parts and three floors: the main store, office, and lookout. I used the colors brown and sand green that gives it a realistic feeling. Four Mini-figures could be added such as a two fisherman, the store keeper, one captain. And a lot of details. New creation just before the new year. This is my second modular: a music store and a recording studio. Packed with lots of details and opening panels, I think that this is perhaps my best build yet! My goal is to be able to build some more modulars (comprising of what will be known as Bricktropolis) for BrickWorld Chicago 2016. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

Hello everyone! Here is my "last-minute" creation for the Expand the Winter Village VI contest. It's a 2 in 1 building. The main building is an antique store, but it's a little bit big if we compare it with other Winter Village LEGO sets, isn't it? That's why we can open it up and get two smaller, but more interesting buildings: an antique store and an old house. Here's one of my smaller MOCs, the Half Modular Jewelry Store! I originally made this as a glass shop, but then I realized that not many people would recognize a glass shop and so I converted the downstairs area into a pretty jewelry store. This building has an elevator on the side and is compatible with all the regular Modular buildings. The upstairs is an apartment with a large kitchen and chandelier, and the roof features a garden! I was looking through the telly listings for the holiday season when I spotted this: I haven't seen this programme mentioned here on the EB boards or elsewhere so thought I should point it out. I was at the Leicester Square store on the opening day and queued for 4.5 hours to get in. There was a film crew outside the front door but I don't think I was ever in shot.

The first shop along the main street of V City is a small one with a big name. The new Disney Store offers different products of its several franchises, including PIXAR and Star Wars. The client (of course I am making this up) wants a small modern building, but contains some essence of its brand. Undoubtedly the castle becomes the starting point for my design brainstorming session. My initial idea is a little box with a castle, and I began to break down the important elements from the castle to form the design language. I converted the moat into the planters by the sides of the entrance, and created a frame to signify a portal to the magical worlds. That can be seen from some castles where you will have a big portal at the bridge across the moat. The facade profile of the building comes from the two side towers above, and I only extracted the cut-corner shape. This slightly chamfered entrance also helps the portal stand out better. The building interior is simple, and is divided into several themes. First it is the Star Wars zone, where guests can find a lot of Star Wars toy and apparels. You can also design your own lightsaber at the “Build Your Own Lightsaber” shelf, and I made reference from the existing shops in Disneyland. Another side is the traditional Disney products, from traditional Disney stories. You can find girl items and dolls (you may ask about teddy bear, and yes Disney has one called Duffy and Shelliemay!), and also some cups and bottles. The deco is simple with wood planks, with the famous clock of Cinderella. Up the stairs will be 1/F, where you are greeted by the Toy Story shelf and the Lightyear figure. You can try the 3-eye Alien headpiece! Turning around is the much anticipated Frozen shelf, with all the icy items you can purchase! See that girl who is in love with the Snowgie cushions? You can also meet Elsa, Anna and Olaf and take pictures with them! Then you will see the little food corner, facing the staircase to the roof top. I spent quite some time to work out the fixtures, and I am happy that they look very much like the real thing inside Disneyland. The roof is a little green playground for kids, and you can meet the two iconic characters of Disney, Mickey and Minnie! Kids are queuing up to take great pictures with them, and later you will see even more other characters around the year. While I can design a simple hinged door on the rooftop, I created this version so that the panel can be folded up once more to avoid visual intrusion (if it is one big panel, it will stand up and be seen behind the tower on the front elevation! Not good!) Of course, I need a photo with my wife, Mickey and Minnie! Let's have a group photo, all the Disney characters with the shop! (okay, Buzz forgot to come out as he is still inside on the 1/F!) Hope you all enjoy it!

Hello, For years I have been sitting on a few store displays. I decided to google their worth and was suprised that not all are on Bricklink, ebay or even google. So I was wondering, have any of you seen these display cases before? What would they be worth? Edit: pictures added Edit: Thank you for the tip on how to add pictures, Peppermint_M! Also, I've been referred to http://www.raumhafen.de/galerie/lego_displays/index.html This is a fan site that keeps track of how often star wars store displays are sold on ebay. My star wars display was apparently only sold twice and has a rareness rating of 4 out of 5. Of course, this is only for the star wars set. And it's only the rareness. Does anyone know how much they would be worth?

Hi everyone, This is the first time I post something in the Town section of Eurobricks. In februari was an event in the south of the Netherlands. At the event was an project to stimulate people to build their own modular houses. I created two houses for this project. The lower house has an jewelry and a food store. At the second floor are two apartments for students. The other house has an furniture shop and on the first floor is an apartment. On the streets are Daleks causing panic to the locals. The Doctor and Clara are running towards the passage. A weeping angel sees al the action on the streets and another weeping angel has located the TARDIS. Here is a picture of the two houses.
