Wingless Serpents Scout Surprise At the edge of the Nestlands, where the forrest meets the desert a band of Mypar Stedor mercs scouted the area for a way into the dense foliage. But it seemed that not a high price was paid for their services, because a couple of keener eyes observed them every step unnoticed. A couple of Wingless Serpents Scouts, led by Venm. At the first possibility, the leader of the pact was surprised by a single blow in the chest by Venm, dropping him hard in the dust. Without any doubt, the others scattered into the desert, not even taking the opportunity to raise a weapon. A simple victory, without the lost of any of our scouts. After a short examination of the blood soaked corpse, proudly Venm send out one of his men to Nar Bilu, who was heading to the Lonely Mountain.

Warzone 6: Last Stand of the Salamanders Location: B7 Who Can Participate: Ulandus and Desert King (Unless A path is opened up by the HIGH COUNCIL before the end of the minichallenge) Terrain: After a series of pushes in the Arkbri valley, primarily from the Desert King, the Northern Ulandians find themselves in the crosshairs once again. This time, the 2nd Legion, the Salamanders (green colors) are holding the last remnants of the once vital Northern corridor. This battle takes place around the town of Northwall. sandendonmap by skaforhire, on Flickr Northwall is the last major Kaliphlin settlement going north before the Cedrican Grasslands and Avalonia. Its climate is no longer desert, but tall grasslands with the occasional trees. Northwall itself has high walls, in which the Salamanders and their allies have barricaded themselves behind. The forces of the Desert King are all over the region, including a small siege of the town. The buildings of Northwall and its surroundings are a mix between Kaliphlin and Avalonian. History: Once just a tiny town on the frontier, Northwall has now passed Sand’s End as the northern most Kaliphlin settlement. It is mostly a guard post to keep rogue raiding parties out of the region. Little trade goes through the town, as they do not have the populace to support the vast market days that Sand’s End has. For this reason, most people living in Northwall are related to the military somehow. Mini-challenge: Northwall’s defenses are quite hardy. Desert King forces should depict a clever way to get through( or over, or under) the wall. Ulandus forces should depict a MOC where the Salamanders and allies cleverly repel the oncoming invaders. Both teams need to depict the walls of Northwall in some manner. Both teams should depict Ulandus forces in some manner – they don’t have to be replicas of the forces used in the preludes, but should have green in their color scheme if possible. Secondary judging category: Best Wall. Winner of this title will become “Defensive Architect of Kaliphlin” Restrictions: 16x32 Due Date: April 12th WARMAP318 by skaforhire, on Flickr

Here's my entry to war zone 12 battle for the great loop. Mummies aren't to smart... They had been traveling for hours in a tiny reed boat, they saw a barrel of spices just sitting out in the open, sound suspicious, not to them it didn't. They were rowing towards it when they started getting bombarded with explosive potions. They hadn't counted on facing the tribal goblins of the area, allies of Ulandus, who are also master alchemists. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Overall view of the build. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr From the top. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Figless top, the corner pieces hanging off the side are to hold the boat in place. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Underneath, I used 2 BURP's for a wall base. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Figless bottom. C&C appreciated, thanks.

Nar Bilu takes his army on a short journey south to the Delta of the Qar-Akhen River. It seems that band of soldiers try to pass security and move inlands at a small bay leading to the main river. Nar commands his troops to set up a blockade within the river bay. With the little resources at hand the men build a few connected floating towers. One of the archers approaches Nar Bilu and warns him for incoming troops. In the shallow waters of the bay, armoured men try to sneak up. Within range of the towers the Serpent Spearmen arise ploughing the tips of their spears between the breastplates of every soul within reach. Before the commander is able to retreat his men, the water has turned from clear blue to deep red. Shields and bodies float to shore, while sword sink to the bottom. They will think twice before taking this route again. Check my Flickr account for other angles and details

With a little conniving, Ageven managed to sign a treaty with the Haxtarus, ruler of Cefivia, a location on the outskirts of the Witherwoods, handing the control of the territory over to Ulandus. I'm enjoying all these little interior scenes as you can probably tell! Just in case you think I'm just pumping out a lot of little tiny stuff, my next build should make you happy! Comments are welcome!

This is my entry for warzone 5 of kaliphlin civil war. The army of ulandus is attempting to set up a base of operations in the treacherous deep sands. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Overall view. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr The soldiers are in the process of building a wooden fence with protruding spikes, behind that is a stone, sand, and mud brick wall. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Some workers are making mud bricks to contemplate for the lack of stones, also a cooking fire, a mounted officer, some supplies and a watchtower. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Some miners unearth an oil supply which spurts forth to cover the surprised workers with it. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr A forge, a worker attempting to mix some flower for bread, and a warrior grappling with a serpent. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr One soldier is immersing himself in the tiny spring while another fell into an unstable pile of sand. Untitled by mlarbconnor, on Flickr Two workers hack at the woody shrubs while another rests under a shoddy wooden shelter. C&C appreceited, thanks.
