Let´s start with brand new model for the LEGO Technic Challenge. A 29 cm tall figure of American astronaut with moving wrists, elbows and shoulders. The helmet is equipped with two PF lights and both arms are operated by PF M motors. The model is remote controlled and powered by rechargeable LEGO battery.

Well 2024 LEGO Speed Champions released 2 last cars (F40 & NASCAR) so came time to discuss about 2025. Somewhere in internet I read LEGO go all in F1 cars in 2025. What's your thoughts?

Hyper Falcon I played around a bit with the idea of a car from the late '80s with some slightly updated design elements. It's a typical coupe with a mid-engine layout, in this case, right behind the seats. Yes, there is a bit of interior (though I might have made some mistakes) and the engine is under glass. P.S. The new slopes/wedges are just awesome 🤩 Bricklink Torino Classico I took some inspiration from one car after an old series of sets. Hello Ferrari and Speed Champions fans, The Ferrari GTO (often referred to as Ferrari 288 GTO) (Type F114) is an exotic homologation version of the Ferrari 308 GTB produced from 1984 until 1987 in Ferrari's Maranello factory. It was designated GT for Gran Turismo and O for Omologata (homologated in Italian). Building instructions are available on the following lins: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-201540/_TLG_/ferrari-288-gto It is a studless build in 8 studs wide Speed Champions style, and it is some kind of update of my earlier 308 GTB model with some newly released parts, but it is a different car. I minimized the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the air vents on the hood, the front bumper with the turn signal lights, the tilted front grill, the turn signal lights on the front side, the black stripe on the sides, the side-view mirrors, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the iconic rear side with the vehicle registration plate, here there is a half stud offset. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back (in some cases the black 2x1 tiles have to be removed too). Hi everyone, I've been building the past few weeks. For Skaerbaek (event in Denmark) I want to have a small landscape inspired by the catalogs. I've build a Shark Scout. The first module for the landscape is finished as well. I wanted to create the rocks from the catalogs. This module can be taken apart in smaller modules for transport. Feedback is appreciated.

Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-87788/_TLG_/57-chevy-matchbox-version It is a studless model in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style, and it is an update of my earlier design, because some new parts have become available since the first release which was in 2021, therefore I was able to build a cleaner, less pixelated flame decoration. The use of stickers is minimized to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. This early-1930's Duesenberg SJ is based off the car seen in Indiana Jones set 7682 (Shanghai Chase) from the 2009 Temple of Doom line. I changed the color from tan to black, updated the look with parts not available 15 years ago, and added a hardtop roof among other things. Oh, and me being me, I added some flanged railroad wheels to use the car an an inspection vehicle for railroad officials like the one shown. (Because why not drive the high iron in style?) I've always wanted to build one of these in black (since the set was released, actually), and now I've got one! The only problem is, it show dust WAY too easily, as you can see. ...It's the curse of building in black! The rear of the car. The car seats two figures inside the cabin. Thoughts? -

When I saw the New Galaxy Explorer 10497 and the alternative builds, I started imagining all the old sets modernized. I started with crafts once I understood the technic and I searched long time to find my own building style as there is no such thing. Here, I'd like to show you my modernized vehicles, in the style of the buggy from the new Galaxy Explorer. I only have one concern about this official buggy: they forgot the antenna >< lol Here is my version of 6823 Surface Transport :-)

Hey everyone! Today I present to you: My RC tracked snowplow! For propulsion, I used 1 Spike Prime M-Motor to drive each tread with a 1.67:1 gear ratio. This enables it to make a perfect zero point turn. The two Control+ M-Motors seen above control the lifting and angling of the plow blade via two large linear actuators. The plow is easily removed by pulling the red 6L axle out of the front teal axle-pin connectors in the center of the plow and disconnecting the 5L black liftarm connected to the linear actuator that controls the blade angle. The hub is accessible by lifting the roof, and the blade can be easily stored inside the vehicle: Here are photos of the code and control panel: I did not make instructions for this, BUT I am planning on making a similar vehicle: a tracked RC offroader. Although it will be similar, there will be some major differences and upgrades. I DO plan to make instructions for that.

I was inspired by Overwatch set 75972 (Dorado Showdown) to create this modular small town auto repair shop with 1950s tow truck. I call the building Smokeys Garage. The building features a raised platform for cars to roll onto and be worked on, with folding ramps to keep the broken-down vehicle (in this case a dark blue Ford Anglia set 75953 MOD) in place. The front of the building. I've been working on this tow truck and building on and off basically since the Overwatch theme released in 2019. The rear of the building featuring a few empty oil barrels and some old engines. The main floor of the building, with the ramps lowered for receiving a broken-down car. Several types of tools hang from the walls. Upstairs on the second floor is the employee break room. The eight wide hover-truck from Overwatch set 75972 has been turned into a 6-studs wide 1950's-style tow truck. Rear of the truck. The hook is too high off the ground to actually pull anything... The cab roof is removable to seat the driver behind the wheel. This 1960s car is a heavily modified version of the Ford Anglia in the 2018 Harry Potter set 75953 - Hogwarts Whomping Willow, remade into dark blue. It has broken down, and is being worked on at Smokeys Garage. (my most recent modular building) The rear of the Anglia. The car has an opening trunk and cabin doors, and also seats one figure. EDITED 8/14/24: So, it's taken quite a while, but it's finally done! Enjoy the MOC!

I was fiddling around with an old car MOC found on Rebrickable (based on a vehicle from the LEGO City Undercover game), seeing what colors I could make it into when I discovered dark tan was possible. Me being me, I then turned the car into a rail mobile because I thought it would look cool on my railroad. Thus, it became Track Inspection Vehicle No. 4. It may sound odd, but during the 1970s, railroads in the US were cash-strapped, worn out and over-regulated - they were looking for cheap, quick fixes in every way in order to stay afloat, and this was a way to save a few bucks. If you are wondering why I chose this color - it is meant to be a dirty, ugly, strange color as the railroad isn't trying to impress anyone with this vehicle... and this kind of dark tan actually was a popular color in the 1970s! The rear of the vehicle. The car's roof comes off so one figure can sit at the wheel and the trunk opens. Thoughts?

[TC27] Lowrider

Here's my entry for the TC27 - the physical model is also completed and tested, but I'm stil waiting for the 2x C frames (3167) to arrive (for testing purpose I just 3D printed my own pieces ). Anyway, I wanted to build something unique and different this time around. I've been thinking of building a motorized lowrider for a while now and this challenge was the perfect excuse to realize it. With this model I wanted to realize the following functions: Motorized suspension Steering mechanism connected to the steering wheel Working fake engine driven by rear wheels Openable (suicide) doors, hood and boot Proper, clean and spacious interior Along with those functions I also managed to squeeze one more additional function, which makes the car a convertable. Here's the end (digital) result: So as you can see, it actually uses the correct tires and rims which I think is a good start! Here's how it looks like all opened up - notice the inline 4 fake engine: Here's a look from the rear, showcasing the large rear typical of lowriders, which is also used to house the two BuWizz 2.0 bricks. I took great care to give the model some fins, proper brick-built lights, bumper, exhausts, etc... Looking at the underside you can see that the L motors are also structural, both axles are designed around them: And here's how the Driveline, Steering and Suspension system are integrated into the model: As mentioned before this is also a convertible which means that the roof can be unfolded and raised: Now for a little of backstory. Originally I tried using PU L motors to make this model a bit more intelligent and capable of holding the wheel suspension positions automacally. Unfortunately PU motors have a very sensitive current protection and were simply not capable of holding the weight of the car even though I'm using shock absorbers to help carry weight. Worth mentioning is also that suspension arms are shorter in the rear to compensate for extra weight. I could have added extra gearing, but that would make the model even bigger and suspension slower. So I took some L motors I had laying around from the Go-Kart project and used them in place of PU ones. Thanks to their shorter size I even gained some additional space and reduced complexity. During testing I decided to double up the BuWizz bricks. I did that for two reasons, first to increase the weight in the back for higher front bounces and secondly to supply the needed power to actuate 4L motor at maximum speed at the same time (each motor draws some 2 Amps when stalled in Ludicrous mode). I hope that's enough details and media for now, I will post photos of the real deal once I get the missing parts and I will of course record a proper video. -
Hello everyone! I am a recently new EB forums member (joined in 2020). I am a college student in the US pursuing Mechanical Engineering. I really enjoy building vehicles and mechanisms with Lego Technic to help visualize the ideas in my head and the designs I learn about from other people. I wanted to create this topic so I can record my older mocs and have a place to keep some current ones and W.I.P.'s as well. I will start adding more old pictures to this topic as I have time. I hope you enjoy all of these old (some finished, some not) M.O.C.'s of mine from my passionate hobby in Lego:) To get started, here is one of my oldest mocs to date, the R34 Wasp Jet (I made that name up btw): I have some other mocs from that era that I will share pictures of, but I have to transfer them from my camera SD card to my BrickSafe:) First I will share some other mocs that I have uploaded pictures of to my BrickSafe already. Here is an old Hummer W.I.P. I never finished... lol. I was waiting to buy some of these parts for the front axle wheel hubs. (sorry for weird camera angles) (note the use of a technic bushing as a differential lock selector ) Here is my one and only Battlebot. It is powered by two PF XL motors with a 24:1 gear ratio (worm gear to 24-tooth). I designed it as a big version of the 2x3 slope brick, but I have no idea if I actually created it at an accurate scale ratio, lol. I could have added a caster wheel towards the front, but I never got around to that. I used it against my brother's Mindstorms EV3 bot that he created which was 6x6 and my bot worked excellently. The Mindstorms just kept losing wheels and could not tip over my bot. The downside was that I did not create any attack mechanisms, so was really just playing defense the whole time:) -
My model is a city bus with New York City MTA livery. I have put more detail on this model comparing to the lego buses in current or past city sets. The reason to build this bus is to provide Lego fans specially to kids to have a Lego bus with the more realistic look. Bus is a popular vehicle type among children. I remember when I was a child, I always wanted to own a great looking lego bus. I believe I am not the only one who has same wish. I submit the project to LEGO Ideas. Hello folks! Tiny Turbos - does anyone remember this somewhat hit-and-miss Racers theme? Despite its discontinuation, moderately small interest in the 4-wide scale still persists on Flickr and MOCpages, and new pieces released are fueling fresh ideas among builders, myself included. One may find building a tiny car a very fun and rewarding experience - the key point to keep in mind is avoiding the overly dull and generic results, which sadly happens on many an occasion. Now, I am not too familiar with MOCpages, but this Flickr pool is a great place to start if you're looking for inspiration. Normally I wouldn't bother with creating a separate topic for such a car myself, instead turning to Flickr, but this one is somewhat special. Since I was building for a contest, I went all-out on it, made a bunch of renders and maximised the capabilities of virtual MOCing. The car is made up using exactly 60 pieces, and as far as I can tell should be adequately sturdy IRL. I used Metallic Sand Purple, which is a beautiful official colour that can be found (by legal means) within the depths of LDD. Rendered using Bluerender. Under-the-hood trickery included! Some obligatory animation, for there is no better way to showcase a car. A couple more "panoramic" images. Hope you enjoyed your stay and feel free to join in the fun! .)

Here is my most recent creation, a medium-scale Ferrari Formula 1 car in the style of the 1990's era. 450 parts, original LEGO stickers, steering, and all the proper aerodynamic features of that time - namely big wings, bigger wing end plates and a blown diffuser for -literally - tons of down force. Internal report: Alienator-type Units Organization: Blacktron Its purpose is causing an unignorable distraction so as to allow the strike force it carries to sneak into secure locations while local forces are occupied dealing with the vehicle. Its heavy armaments are capable of dealing significant damage to most forms of armor, and its thick plating and layered reinforcement makes it difficult to damage. Usually crewed by one armored trooper and two pilots, one of which is redundant and as such is usually part of the strike force. Equipment contained on an average Alienator-type unit is wire cutters, grappling equipment, welding tools and a hand-held circular saw, along with a variety of weapons and in units planned for long-term deployment (although it must be stated that due to their large and noticeable appearance, long term in this context refers to periods of at most 1-2 days), rations. The displayed example's armory included one small plasma pistol, one recoil-neutralized handheld railgun, a blade suited for underhand wielding, and a bashing/disarming ring upon recovery. Play features: removable roof, windshield opens, classic shuffle-walk mechanism, deployable ladder and ball joint mounted stud shooter turrets. This one was rather fun to make. I stole the foot design from Nexo Knights' Stone Colossus, and while I initially planned to make the legs flexible enough to walk normally, once I realized that I could actually use the classic mechanism I just had to. Of course, this is entirely unbuildable in real life due to the fact that I built this with little to no regard for the availability of certain pieces in certain colors. For the Lego City police theme, I wanted create a unique design of police car and to propose it as a potential Lego product dedicated to the theme, present for many years. Composed of 275 pieces. _A new concept for the Lego city car: Carry three figurines and their accessories. Driver and passenger in the front cabin and one minifig in the prisoner compartment. New doors, roof and trunk, openable. The doors are closed with a slight "click". _Unprecedented driving position: Improved steering wheel, speedometer, centre console with gear lever and cup holder, radio and VHF (new decorated plate) _Carriage of accessories that are stowed and easily accessible: On the front cabin: binoculars, soda can and gun. In the trunk: rifle, talkie and laptop computer. _typical equipment for police interceptor car: Push bar, projector, light bar, and radio antenna. _Evolving model: It is possible to turn it into a police speedboat with almost all pieces of the set. To offer a unique model for the Lego City police theme, by proposing an idea little or not exploited, which is the possibility to take two minifigs in front-seat of the car, by staying in reasonable size of current Lego products of the theme with a solid structure, enough realism, while giving other realistic functions. The model was realized with Lego Digital Designer and tested in real bricks to find the best assembly with current pieces.

Coalition Baserunner (Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak) by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Baserunner is a fictional support and recon vehicle from RTS videogame "Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak". Baserunners are the reliable workhorse vehicles that were used by Kiithid Coalition during the events of the game. Their main purpose was to set up defensive perimeter with deployable turrets, as well as install sensor arrays and lay minefields.
