  1. Hidden entrance or just an old collapsed mountain side ? Don't take the rockwork here to serious as the top of this cube wont be finished till the surrounding cubes are done. Still the entrance is here ! Spider Attack !! No problem for a level 5 wizard ! Dead spiders equals loot ! The treaure ain't out of reach at all ! Diablo interface: Diablo cube - First installment: Again - The top of this cube still needs a lot of work. Will be done when I have the surrounding cubes at hand at somewhat fitted to this one. Now, I actually thought that this would have been the next finished installment of my Cube Layout Project: However, once I started to build the Diablo interface, I could'nt stop. I Really wanted to have the Diablo interface as my first installment for the Diablo, world of Warcraft and Baldurs gate installment's I have planned for this project. I also needed to know how many studs high it had to be, in order to fit the surrounding cubes with the track layout in order to make it all fit. Now, I dont even know what will be the next installment. My Cube layout project consist of cubes 34x34 studs. This in order to be able to put a baseplate on top and still have an one plate edge, in order to be economical with my bricks. Also it makes it quite easy to adjust hight of every cube as i move along with the project. Now a bit of what I have planned for, to have fun here, and getting back into building again. Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( Can be found here ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( this one ) World of warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( Can be found here ) World of warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. ( Planning ) Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Who know's what's next ? ! Hope you like it. KlodsBrik
  2. Hello, A few days ago I have decided to start building in Stud.io micro models from World of Warcraft because it is my favorite game and waiting for LEGO to release official sets. These models are one of my first mocs so they could be built better. ;) I started with The Dark Portal and then decided to build Naxxramas. Currently working on the 3rd model. Last night I have created two versions of the model but didn't like it. The picture shows the final version of the top part of the building. Can you guess what is the building? ;)
  3. Are you prepared for a battle to come??? Friends, let me introduce you my new Lego Custom Minifigure – a Two Headed Ogre, let us call him Cho'gall. We can meet two-headed characters in many fantasy worlds but it is WARCRAFT that is the first that comes to mind when we talk about Two-Headed Ogre. One of the most famous and powerful of the Horde's Ogre Magi is a Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall. Driven by the lust of power and thrill of destruction, Cho'gall is a terrifying force on the battlefield, someone who can start and end a fight all on his own ... but only if both heads work together. Born in the capital of Gorian Empire a Two-Headed Ogre Cho'gall was tuted by the most talented ogre sorcerers. Feeling a threat, aristocracy tried to kill him but he was able to escape and had to flee from the city. As Cho'gall searched the world for knowledge and weapons he came across Guldan, orc warlock. Two Headed Orge Cho'gall became one of the most powerful and respected members of the Old Horde during the First and Second Wars against the humans. This is a great story which made me add Two Headed Ogre into my Lego Custom Undead Universe. Two Headed Ogre custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. Latest Lego Minifigures I customized – Soul Taker and Baba Yaga.
  4. Many many years ago I enjoyed playing World of Warcraft for year or two. For some reason, every christmas, I get into my holiday spirit by thinking back on the cosy joy it was to wander around in WOW exploring and just enjoying the landscape. I so recall the first time I arrived at Ironforge, and that´s the reason it had to be part of my Cube layout project. I hope you like it. Grinding materials for leather skills: A place in WOW I used a lot of time, was at what I recall as a bay, where turtles were all over the place. They dropped a lot of usefull materials for either getting better at leatherworking skills, or could easily be sold at the auction house at Ironforge. This baylike area, led to several dungeons that were handy for getting experience points, and advance in the game. I sooo loved this area, and I can still get all relaxed thinking back on it. Running around, enjoying the music, just relaxing and not having to rush anything. Dungeon leading to Ironforge: Arriving at Ironforge: Ironforge is build into a huge mountain, surrounded by snow and forest. This were an ideal place to run around during christmas when no snow were outside. First sight: At Ironforge one would expect nothing less than drunk guards and huge statues. 3 more cubes for my Cube layout project: So, three more cubes have been added for the project, well actually its five, as two more cubes have been "landscaped" to make an "endcap" for the build. So, finally have an endcap ready. Now I can progress on all edges of the build, finally getting one full loop of tracks for the train to roll on. This is how it looks by now. Another great thing, is that Im finally ready to begin building on "top" of the whole of this area. The Doctor who and the "turtle bay". View of the Diablo cube next to Ironforge: I was really worried as how the Diablo cube would look next to the Ironforge cube. Turned out great ! Two studs width with some overhang made the transition work quite well. Now, the backside of Ironforge has not been finished yet. This build turned out soooo tricky, as I need a sort of three way effect, using the Diablo cube and this for sort of a camoflage to make the train run through. So as you might have noticed their is quite a few places where the rockwork ain´t top notch yet. But that´s yet another great thing about this project. I can fly between themes, building what I feel like, whenever I want to. Honestly though, I need a break from rockwork right now, this has teared me apart. Everytime I moved something a bit, the whole build moved in random directions, and it took Me forever to figure out, how to make it look "big" considering Its placed on a 34x34 stud base. But for now Im happy with how it turned out. On the backside of Ironforge im gonna build Stormwind, another great city of World Of Warcraft, using the backside of Ironforge as sort of a forced perspectiv, making up micro build skyes and towers ( I think, have only made a test build). But that´s the plan for now. On top of the diablo cube, Im planning a boss fight. I mean, what is Diablo without a boss fight. And I have a special one in mind ! Installments planned: Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - ( Can be found here ). Doctor Who - Gas and Snacks - T.A.R.D.I.S - Small continuation - ( Planning ) Doctor Who - T.A.R.D.I.S train ( offcourse :P ) - ( Planning ) Fabuland - Fabuland settlement ( Building ) Matrix reloaded ( building ) Matrix revolutions ( planning - somewhat testing build ) Diablo - Part one - A shortcut to the black templars treasure - ( Can be found here ) World Of Warcraft - Arriving at Ironforge ( This one ) World Of Warcraft ( a collaboration of Diablo, Baldurs gate, World of warcraft ) - ( building ) War against the Cthoor. Call of Cthulhu. The LEGO movie. Please do leave comments and questions. And I hope you enjoyed the build. KlodsBrik
  5. Hello everyone! Here is my new MOC - a Gilnean house from World of Warcraft game: Gilneas is one of human Seven Kingdoms in the world of Azeroth. Initially it was in the Alliance but after the Second War proud king Genn Greymane ordered to construct a high wall at its borders and to isolate his country from the rest of the world. During the Third War the Undead Scourge attacked the wall and then royal archmage Arugal unleashed worgen, the ferocious wolf-like creatures. The attack was fought back but the worgen curse spread in the kingdom itself, turning people into werewolves. The situation was further worsened by the Cataclysm which shattered the Greymane Wall and sharp sea reefs and by Forsaken undead which attacked the already devastated kingdom. Gilneans, both human and worgen, had to rejoin the Alliance again and left their homeland with the help of Night Elves. Gilneas is one of my favourite World of Warcraft zones, the others being Blood Elven Eversong Woods and Dwarven Loch Modan. It's very gloomy and stylish place. This kingdom was rainy and foggy even earlier, but with the worgen curse and the war it became more inhospitable. Its style resembles the mix of Regency Era England and Transylvania as it is depicted in horror films. Gilneas is one of two human kingdoms with its own unique architecture. Gilnean buildings are mostly post and beam, built around large timber frames. Also they are heavily influenced by Neogothic style. Initially I planned to built this house from Gilneas City (it is in the centre with Light's Dawn Cathedral in the background): But then I ran out of parts, so I decided to make a simpler building and to relocate it to a countryside: I've changed a layout a bit and didn't replicate the building strictly. This house is somewhere in Gilnean forests. It's inhabited by a four-people family. The parents' names are Sam and Catherine, and the children's names are James and Mary. They were invented specifically for this MOC and didn't appear in the game. Side view: Another side view: Rear view: The balcony with wooden railing: Mary overlooks the forest: There is a little garden behind the house: The family is harvesting crops: This door leads into the basement: Where terrible spiders live! In Azeroth they can grow up to that size and even larger! Walls with timber frames: The small grave - maybe, someone of the family's ancestors is buried there: The chimney looks like castle or cathedral tower: In the second floor there is a high gothic window with stained glass: A protruding beam under the roof: The entrance to the house: There are two lamps near the door. Red Gilnean roses grow in front of the house. Sam is going to hunt with his dog: The house consists of eight modules: They are the plate, the ground floor, three first floor modules, the second floor and the attic. The green plate without the house: The basement from the inside: The steps and pillars in front of the door: The autumn apple tree: And another tree has already lost its leaves: The ground floor: I designed the interior by myself because in-game buildings look like movie sets rather than real houses. The stairs lead to the first floor. There are pictures on the wall. Also there is an arms rack near the fireplace. It houses muskets, pistols and a rapier: The balcony can also be easily detached: The dining table with different food: The family is having a dinner: At the other side there are a small table and two barrels. The first one is with wine, and the second one is with useful tools: The carpet and two chairs near the fireplace: There you can warm after going to the cold Gilnean forest. Also this fireplace can be used for cooking. The fireplace with added chimney: The fireplace arch from the outside: The stone chimney is large and tall: The fire and charcoals: It connects with the house using two pins. Here you can see where the basement was: The first floor consists of three modules. Here is the first floor room: The stairs lead to the second floor, and the doors lead to rooms under the roof: Also the roof above the door is added to this room. That's how it works: This is a chilren's room. It has a double-decker bed: There is a toy box near the bed. Mary and James on the bed: The stairs: The room near the balcony: There are a chest and a table: The second roof module is near the chimney, so its wall is blank: It houses the bathroom and the toilet: The second floor: The ladder on the wall leads to the attic. In this room there are Sam and Catherine's bed and a desk where Sam makes his experiments: It looks like Sam is not only a hunter, but also an alchemist and an amateur astronomer: He has flasks, an ancient magical scroll and a map with some troll ruins (maybe in the Hinterlands or in the Swamp of Sorrow) on his desks. The final roof module: From the other side: You can see the interior only after removing a roof: There are only a chest and cobwebs. Now let's assemle the house, It can be done the only way. With the ground floor: With the left roof module: With the first floor room: With the second roof module: With the chimney: With the second floor: With the roof - it's ready! More photos: And finally, a small story. Once upon a time, at night in Gilneas... "It's a strange noise outdoors, Sam." "I'll have a look now, Kate. I'll take my gun and torch. Come, Pitbull!" "Bow-wow!" Sam bypassed his house and saw a strange creature, an anthropomorphic wolf in a ragged suit and in a tophat. Sam and his dog chased the worgen in the garden: They ran past the grave, and a ghost living there began to howl: The worgen moved too fast for a human. But the hunter with his dog brought him to the tree: The worgen climbed high (and a crow sitting on branches seemingly didn't notice him) and jumped back on the ground: Sam chased him and was amazed when he saw this creature near his wife and children: "Keep calm, Sam. It's my uncle Henry!" "Are you mad?" - Sam asked wonderlingly. "No," - the worgen answered in human language, - "I have fallen to the worgen curse, but night elf druids managed to save my mind. We aren't anymore the beasts you hunted. We can even become human at will." Then he turned back to human, and all recognized Uncle Henry: Sam was astonished but soon he became happy like the others. And here is another bonus. After the Cataclysm the Horde and the Alliance fought for Gilneas: The Gilnean worgen joined the Alliance and fought with enemies of Stormwind in respond to night elves' help. Thank you for watching!
