TheUtilityBelt Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) When Gleambeam died in the Wither Wood, all Heinsen saw for he went out was a mercinary pounding Gleambeam to death. After the battle when Heinsen woke, he found Kyle and asked one of the mages to burn his ashes and let them into the wind as the old wizard had asked. Back in Carn he picked a spot for his grave in the cemetery. It was near a small tree with thick mosses growing on the branches. Heinsen wept for hours, but soon the dukes messenger found him and led him to the palace. ----------------------------------------------- I built this to wrap up Gleambeams death after the Wither Wood. As it mentioned, there will be a new build coming soon! And sorry for the crappy photos. I didn't have good light. C&C welcome. Edited September 8, 2014 by TheUtilityBelt32 Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice to see you tying in your builds to Ska's story! Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nice to see you tying in your builds to Ska's story! I agree with LV that's a neat touch to the story for the build :) nice build by the way :) Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Thanks guys! I'm glad you liked the tying in. Quote
mccoyed Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I will be doing a Yukar build soon as well. I think it's a great idea to capitalize on all the work Ska and his brother did as well as celebrate it and pay them back with sweet, sweet MOCs. Quote
Gideon Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Great use of those minifig hairpieces! Nice to see that the aftermath of Ska's and Scarst's epic battle is resounding among the GoH community Edited September 8, 2014 by Gideon Quote
Scaevola Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Cool graveyard, the tombstones are nice and quaint, and the tree is quite good. I would perhaps use some more relevant color choices for the moss, but an innovative and effective idea nonetheless.I really like the way you posed Heinsen too. I offer my sincere condolences Edited September 8, 2014 by Scaevola Quote

Hammerhand Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice graveyard, and clever idea for the moss! This build reminds me I was planning on doing a build tying in the gnomes from the battle somehow, but I don't have any gnome hats at the moment, so it's on hold. R.I.P. Gleambeam. Quote
de Gothia Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Much emotions in your bricks! Great work capturing that! Try not to use the flash or the direct sunlight to avoid the shadows Quote
BrickCurve Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I would suggest some more detail in the base, maybe some flower stems or a bush would make all the difference. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Good gravestone designs and the figs are excellent Quote
