Athos Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Sets we already know: lets talk about what they will be like... -Temple Escape (Raiders): Jungle temple from introduction. $49.99. I suspect this will be a very open airy set (for $50, it would have to be). Set up similar to that in Scorpion Palace. I hope the idol is good and the set includes some Hovitos. Probably won't include Jack and the airplane (may include Reggie, though). -Race for Stolen Treasure (Raiders): Indy chasing the truck carrying the ark, includes two desert vehicles. I'd guess the vehicles are a truck and a jeep or maybe Belloq's Rolls? Probably will have a horse for Indy to ride. Two guards, one to drive each vehicle and maybe Belloq or Toht? $29.99 -Lost Tomb (Raiders): Escape from the Well of Souls. $19.99 I imagine this will look a lot like the Vampire Crypt. Probably only include Marian and Indy. Maybe/hopefully a new cobra piece? -Motorcycle Chase (Last Crusade): Indy and Henry escape from Germany on motorcycles. Will probably include motorcycle with sidecar, Henry and Indy, a second motor cycle, and maybe a guard shack, with barrier and flagpole. Sets we might see in the future: -Desert Airfield (Raiders): includes flying wing, guardtower, gas truck Indy, the Swede, Marian and Pilot. $50 -Mine Car Chase (Temple of Doom): includes track for carts, maybe like Gringotts or the new Spongebob set. Some mine scenery. Two mine cars. Indy and Short-round, Willie (maybe) Thugee guard. $30 -Catacombs (Last Crusade): includes a wall with skeletons, rats, coffin with skeleton knight. Includes Indy and Elsa. $20 -Grail Temple (Last Crusade): includes facade of Petra, traps on inside. Indy, Donovan (with revolving wall to replace with skeleton), Henry, Elsa, Knight, (Marcus and Sallah?). $100 -Tank Battle (Last Crusade): includes large tank with Henry and Marcus and the Hauptmann inside (maybe driver?). Indy on horseback. $30 -Bug Room (Temple of Doom): includes room with lots of bugs on floor and roof that closes down. Includes Indy and Short Round. $20. -Raft Escape (Temple of Doom): Indy, Willie and Short Round in raft, on a hill of white slopes. $10 -Plane Crash (Temple of Doom): Plane like the Island Hopper, includes Indy, Willie and Short-round and hopefully live poultry. Also includes a raft $30. -Elephant Ride (Temple of Doom): Elephant and Willie on backwards $10. -Bridge Confrontation (Temple of Doom): Indy on collapsible bridge. Alligator. Mola Ram. $10 Sets I hope we see: -Cario Chase (Raiders): includes middle-eastern bazaar set-up. Basket with Marian in it. Two thugs to carry basket. Monkey. Shiek. Indy. Maybe a truck? $100 (more likely $50). -Castle Grunwald (Last Crusade): Castle like the various Hogwarts. Revolving fireplace and secret stairway. Includes butler, Henry, Indy, Guards. $100 -U-boat Confrontation (Raiders): includes steamer and u-boat. Indy, Marian, Guards, Sailor $100 -College/Museum (Last Crusade): college type building, with lots of artifact displays. Includes Marcus (lost in his own museum), Indy in suit, room full of students. $100 -Streets of Iskendrun (Last Crusade): Similar to Cairo. Includes Marcus, Sallah, bad guys and truck to kidnap Marcus. $50. -Ahhh, Venice (Last Crusade): include city facade, with outdoor dining area. Two boats with fez-wearing bad guys. Maybe two boats ("Don't go between them!"). Indy and Elsa. $100 -Henry's House (Last Crusade): Similar to Privet Drive. Ransacked house with lots of books and artifacts and junk. Includes Marcus and Indy. $30 -The Temple of Doom (Temple of Doom): like Hogwarts. Large temple, with secret passage out of bedroom, dining room (with Snake Surprise), trap room, heart-ripping out area, mine, mine car on ramp like Gringotts, bridge scene. $100 Exclusive TRU set. Includes, Indy, Willie, Shorty, Mola Ram, Victim, Thugees. What are your thoughts? Steve Quote
Hinckley Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Set I hope we see Melty Face Toht comes with reversible mini-fig head. One side normal Toht, bespectacled and evil, the reverse side, same thing, kinda melty. No list price as LEGO only releases 10,000 of them, randomly placed in IJ sets only in America... ;-) :-P X-D :-D Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 (edited) Just remember that they said they are making 8 sets in '08, 4 for the first three movies and 4 for IJ4. I guess we're already speculating about 2009. *wacko* Edited June 22, 2007 by trooperdavinfelth Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Very well thought Steve ;-) I love all your ideas hehe -Raft Escape (Temple of Doom): Indy, Willie and Short Round in raft, on a hill of white slopes. $10-Plane Crash (Temple of Doom): Plane like the Island Hopper, includes Indy, Willie and Short-round and hopefully live poultry. Also includes a raft $30. I actually would include both in the set to add playability ;-) I would defintly want to see that Laoche plane openin and a raft fits in !! I also would love to see the first scene of the Temple of Doom (TOD): the singing dressed Willie, the gong, and the exchange :-P I don't think you left a lot of empty spaces there :-P *yoda* Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 That pic is definitly a set I would love !! Escape from the Zepplin 8- Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 That sounds like some good idea's. Lego should consider making those, and a LEGO Indiana Jones game. -ZotS Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Excellent! I like the idea of a new zepp, since the Adventurer's one was made in such a blocky manner for a purpose, and that purpose was fulfilled. This zeppilin(if Lego makes one) will be made with bricks. Lots of them, and for that reason, its purpose will be fulfilled. Ok, enough purpose nonsense: I like the idea, and I hate to say it, but that's an awful large set! 3 planes, and a Zepp? And I think it's pretty much confirmed that there will be no Nazis, unless, as mentioned in the Indy topic, they are just basic figures. Unless Lego wants to make me thank them 1000000 times and they will not only make Nazis, but new gun molds! That would spring forth the possibility of an adult line for the WWs! Of course, more than 99.9% of parents are smart enough to see the high age on them and they wouldn't get them for little'uns. If they do make the Nazis, the guys in the desert, with the khakis, then they should make at least a few different bodyprints. Quote
Looking for a display name Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 oh man they gota make the flying wing set tat would be a multi buy 4 me (1 for Indiana jones and 1 for a return to castle wolfinstine moc :-D) Quote
Capn Frank Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) How about the Ford Tri-Motor Freight plane in temple of doom? That'd be really cool *y* and throw in a yellow raft too :-D Indy's dad w/ an umbrella versus the Nazi fighter plane :-D P Edited October 4, 2007 by phred Quote

Capn Frank Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Um... ;-) Steve Yeah 8-| about that I mean, I agree that would make a great set! *y* Yeah, that's what i mean :-$ P Quote
Nonpoint Fan Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 A mine cart set similar to the old electric monorail sets would be sweet. We also need Willie and Elsa minifigs since there's a real lack of diversity w/ blonde legos (Willie should have Mary-Jane/Hermione's old hairpiece and Elsa should use Marion's one) Quote
conmaniac89 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 As far as sets go, those all sound great. Minifigs i'd love to see: Battle damage Indy from TOD Vogel, evil Nazi from LC Toht of course Donovan with a double sided aging head Elsa Willie Short Round Mola Ram Shirtless Nazi from Raiders Sallah Quote
conmaniac89 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 (edited) I just realized that a huge collapsing bridge from TOD would be so much fun(more in the $20-30 price range). I also want to see the car from the beginning of TOD. Edited January 11, 2008 by conmaniac89 Quote
Mr Spielbrick Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 In the TIE Army forum, sam89 posted new Clone Wars pics. He linked to a site where he found them. That very same site has a shocking bit of text tucked between the photos: "Additionally, they revealed that their Indy line would not feature The Temple of Doom as it's themes were 'too dark' and the lack of iconic vehicle scenes in the movie restricted their options further." 8- Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Way to go Spielbrick *y* Thats what I call constructive ranting X-D G, I wonder what idiot at TLC thought that |-/ I'm sure they spent thousands of dollars on a biased survey to come to that conclusion !! Mister the geniouses, why oh why did you create those horrrible MM aliens then *wacko* You've nearly sumed up all the sweet sets they could have done !! The elephant set with hot willie :-P would please adventurers !! + add several things that I'm sure fans like me would want: * tuxedo Indy looking for the antidote !! * Ke Huy Quan (aka Short Round) driving that sweet car * the mystical stones * indians MFs, especially Mola Ram * and I'm sure am missinbg a lot of stuff Yeay a tent with giant ants is way more iconic I say... Pissed off *yoda* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Not much to add to Mr Spielbrick and *yoda* rant, I am very disappointed at news of no temple of doom sets, it is a shame to purchase a license and then not use it to its full extent. |-/ At least we already have some great sets even with out TOD(Temple of doom) sets. *y* Quote
Athos Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 That is incredibly disappointing. No Willie or Short Round? I can understand avoiding certain scenes, but to skip the entire movie, is ridiculous. Lots of good scenes could still be made, as discussed above, but I'd also add the rope bridge fight... Look at some of the scenes already done from the other movies (not to mention faux-nazis): Lost Tomb: snakes crawling out of a skull's mouth Truck Chase: pretty explicit running over of a guard Temple: decaying Forrestal and an impaled Sapito, both of which are included! I hope they'll reconsider. Steve Quote
xwingyoda Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Exactly Steve !! + add the fact that there is a new theme called "agents" where good guys spend their time shooting guns and detsroying bad guys with heavy artillery !! And big heads at TLC don't think that is wrong :-| I mean which is worse, classic indian fighters with their sweet blades, elephants, artefacts (and what have you) or modern guys shotting Mac10s at sharks with freaking laser beams attached to their heads *wacko* Sad to say but once again, all this makes no sense >:-( *yoda* Quote
JimBee Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 well, that just sucks. i havnt seen doom in a few years, but in raiders, if u watch the ending, u just might see some violent thongs there... like... o... idk, maybe hitler getting his blood, flesh and bones melted? or in last crusade, when indy shots a single bullet through 3 soviets' heads? yeah, tlc needs to make TOD sets. no joke :-| :-X >:-( Quote
casewindu Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 If their not making sets based on this film then what the hell are they going to do in the new game? Surely if temple of doom can be made for the game then it can be made for the real bricks? hopefully Lego will see their mistake and change this. It's ridculous as Xwingyoda said we have this new agent line comming out with everyone shooting each other but they can't make a mine cart scene! The agents theme made it look as though Lego were over this whole "not suitable for children" thing but they obviously arn't, big mistake. Quote
Mofo Jones Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I'll take the TOD sets and throw in the sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads. After all, something has to be above the crocodiles in the food chain! :-D Quote
