Kerntechniker Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Since the city has started to grow and the refugees have come food price has increased and to avoid getting hungry and to earn a coin or two many people have started a farming business in Burrium Aqua, like Ed van Porc. Many habitants have used theit land to grow pigs or chicken. Quote
mccoyed Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I like this building, like the other ones, but again your groundwork feels like an afterthought. It sticks out of such a nice build as being too blocky and geometric with the color shift. I can see where you used angled tiles to break things up inside the pig pen, but you should use those techniques everywhere! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Nice work! The buildings are great, but the floor is a bit blocky. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Nice moc :) the ground could of used a bit more texturing though Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I like the Tudor building! I wish you had some pictures of the whole build though. Quote
Scaevola Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Nice build, some more landscaping would definitely make it better though Quote
SarahJoy Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I agree with others that the underdeveloped groundscape is distracting from the rest of the build. Even just scattering a few 1x1 round plates (in the same or similar color) would add some dimension. I really like that Avalonian base! Quote
Kerntechniker Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) I like the Tudor building! I wish you had some pictures of the whole build though. Hi Carson you have been asking for the Burrium Aqua construction site? This looks like this: One remark ahead in the total WIP I have used several original Sets and placed them in a good way or I have performed some minor changes. Espacially the elven part is currently highly dominated by original sets. To see the history and the development just follow the link WIP Burrium Aqua in my Signature. LordDan Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Nice building and pig pen! Cool overall build also! Quote
robuko Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Wow, you have a fantastic Lego room! What a great overall build, you have the whole country there! Quote
Gunman Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Cute farm there man. I would use some more texturing on the ground and shoot the whole moc not part of it like sections etc. Quote
Kerntechniker Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Hi, thanks for all the comments. Checking the pictures from todays view, I agree that the ground shoult improve. I have recently started to update the inner city part due to the challenge and the ground work has not been paid so much attention. I promise improvement in the future. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Very cool pig farm. The shutters on the house look great and I like the red/white/reddish brown colorscheme Quote
Kerntechniker Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Thank you all for the C&C. Due to the valueable input I have added a few details to make the scene less "bricky". Enjoy! Quote
