-obelix- Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Thalion helped knocked out Quellir up, "Dont worry Quellir, my friend, simply don't rush into fray so much next time since I guess this wont be our last battle before everything is done." Then turned to Rone, "I understand your willingness to get the natural miners to help with the mine, but how did those wild ones appear here, and how come no one did anything about them already? But anyway, I think we should explore Duplovian site first." Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Siercon added. "I have no objections, Duplovian seems a fine choice..." Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Alexander agrees with Thalion words about Quellir " We will have to fight again, I'm sure..." then he pauses a moment and listen to the others suggestion before speaking again "Ok, let's go to the Duplovian camp. The Legonater Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Wildmen are unpredictable. They'll dig anywhere they want to. It's possible they had a cavern built up near by, and burst into the mines. Well, here we are. The Duplovians are visibly shaken up by something. As soon as the heroes come into view, the miners glare at them in wide-eyed fear. Before they can react the Duplovians have grabbed weapons and are charging. What is going on here!? He finished, "Perhaps they can be helpful in our journey. we could test it out on one?" Siercon stands ready with his wand in one hand and a remedy in another. Depending on the groups reaction to his question, he will either. Use a remedy, or Attack Insane miner C from the back row. Quote

The Legonater Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 They came from out of nowhere. Killed everyone. We managed to escape, but it's impossible to say when they'll be back. Their leader... he fought like nothing I've ever seen. Like nothing I've heard of, save Jadec Marr. Jadec Marr's a legend, a folk tale. Don't be ridiculous. Well legends start somewhere, right? Whoever he was, I barely caught a glimpse of them. Of any of them, really. But... I think they were from Delfrin. Are you absolutely sure? Yeah, they were definitely Delfrin. Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Siercon questions the Miners. "Attacked by humans from Delfrin eh?... Can any of you venture a guess as to why?" Siercon continued showing them the map. "From which direction did your attackers come from, and what is in this western pocket corridor near where we are?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 How should I know? And like I said, they were fast - came out of nowhere. The Western Pocket? We've had some bets going around. None of us have ventured too far into it, but we're fairly certain it's some kind of shelter. I'm betting on Cave Trolls. Quote
-obelix- Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Thalion drinks two potions and puts on his Cloak of Necrotic Shielding. Turning to the miners he responds, "We are from Heroica, and I believe you recognize these gentlemen..." he says, pointing to the Rone and Quellir. "Who is Jadec Marr, if you dont mind me asking?" Edited October 9, 2014 by -obelix- Quote
The Legonater Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Like I said, Jadec Marr's a legend, nothing but. They say he was the last great warrior, that he was adept with any weapon any could win on any battlefield. You hear that? 'Last great warrior'... we've got plenty of great warrior's kicking around! We all heard about that battle in Baltarok, right? Aw, be quiet and let him talk. Then the legends died down. No one knows what happened. Some say he faced a battle he couldn't win, others say he simply grew tired of life in the Kingdoms. Some say he might have even passed into another realm. No one knows for sure. Because it's rubbish. Not all of it. What? There was a Jadec Marr once. Fought his fair share of battles, sure. I never met him myself, but from what I've heard he was definitely the stuff of legends. And then? Then, nothing. Like you said, no one knows what happened to Jadec Marr. But unlike the legends, he was only human. He probably died, if not in battle then out in the wilderness. But that ain't going to happen to us. We're getting out of here alive. Well, of course. I think we've found all we can here, unless you folks have any more questions. Where to next, heroes? Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 "I'd Like to check out this western corridor since we're so close by. I think slowly sweeping the mines might be slightly more methodical and safe. I'd like to say to the miners 'Stay here, we'll figure this out' but I'd hate to find them in peril once we've left because we missed a corner." Siercon also didn't want to miss any opportunities to learn, gain experience, and potentially find some stuff with his new shovel... "But, I'm game for whatever, though we should probably make sure these guys get to the surface or somewhere safe." Quote
-obelix- Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Thalion nods, "Western Corridor sounds good." Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 "Interesting this Jadec Marr..." mumbles Alexander hearing Master Rone and the miners speaking about him "But we will think about later..." he thinks, it is time to choosen their next direction. The idea of Siercon isn't bad and Alexander nods "Good idea, let's go!" the he leads the party to the western corridor, ready to fight... Quote
