-obelix- Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 "Nice work, heroes!" finally the battle was over. "Anyone has some preferences on the loot?" "Thank you my friend, everyone was great. As for the loot, I wouldn't mind that armor." Thalion turns to Rone, "I suspected something like that might be the case... Any ideas if maybe those wild Norgh might have been deliberately placed here?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Alexander digs in the area, and finds a Grating Stone. Thalion turns to Rone, "I suspected something like that might be the case... Any ideas if maybe those wild Norgh might have been deliberately placed here?" That's definitely a possibility. Let's take a closer look. [Alexander goes] to inspect the dead bodies. These people were definitely not killed by Wildmen or Trolls, these scars are too precise. Someone else was here. You don't think this was the rescue group, do you? It would definitely explain why we haven't heard from them. Dovanna isn't here. That's a good sign. Neither is Lachterson. I wonder why? Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Siercon spoke up "I'd be up for the spears, but I've no real preference past that. Still I'm fine to pass this time if it would serve others." Seeing Alexander find something with his shovel humorously irked Siercon as he'd been waiting to use his brand new shovel since he bought it! Taking it he chose a different spot and dug into the ground. Quote

Wedge09 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 OoC: I hope not to displease anyone with the loot division... Alexander uses two potion from the loot on Quellir, and one on Siercon. Then he divides the loot: Loot Division: Siercon: Giant Spear (WP:15, causes bleeding) Duplovian Sword (WP:3) William: Delfrin Sword (WP:3) Chain Whip (WP:7, 1/6 chance to cause Bound) Thalion: Norgh Armour (SP:5, immune to Earth damage) Alexander: Ancient Spear (WP:5, Earth elemental) It seems that the dead bodies are the remains of a rescue party and Alexander decides make the party to move forward towards the Delfrin camp. "If there is nothing more, I think we should go forward." Quote

The Legonater Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 You ought to come back here once you're finished. A human with a spear like that? Ha, that's a sight I'd love to see. The heroes continue on, and make their way to the Delfrin camp. Who are you? Quote
-obelix- Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 "We are from Heroica accompanied by two Duplovians, and we came here to investigate what has happened in these mines. Would you mind introducing yourselves to us as well?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Duplovians, huh? Then you must be Eyric Rone. The one and only. Well I suppose I should be introducing you to our project leader, but he's missing. As well as, you know, must other people around here. Though I guess that's why you guys showed up. I'm Pierce. I'm second-in-command around here. Or, first-in-command now, I guess. Dmitri, just another miner. I'm Selene. I wish I could say I knew what was going on around here, but I don't. A month ago, people starting disappearing. We sent someone out to Delfrin, but he never came back. Then Bardrick - that's our leader - set out with a couple guys to find out what exactly's going on. He didn't come back either. Lachterson stopped through here with his rescue party, asked us a few questions. They left, same sob story. Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 OOC: Looking for some clarification. We are currently in the Delfrin Camp right? So Pierce says they sent someone out to Delfrin... So where does that put us currently? Or was Bardrick sent out to the Norgh camp? Lastly, sorry to be picky but are/did we travel through the central mine shaft or the southern passage? Quote
The Legonater Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 They sent a messenger to the city of Delfrin. You passed along the central shaft, though you can always return to investigate. Quote
-obelix- Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 "Then I guess we have to search the rest of the mine too. Who is Lachterson? Is he the leader of the search party sent from Delfrin?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Yeah. Seemed like a pretty nice guy, but we didn't see him very long. Out of curiosity, what have you guys discovered? Quote
-obelix- Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 "Not much yet. Apparently there are a lot of wild Norgh in these mines - a lot more then I would have thought actually, and that both Duplovia and Delfrin have been affected by whatever is happening here." Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 "In what directions Bardrick and Larcheston went? And you miners, there should be others miners not far from here, you can reach them, if not you can join us, as you want..." Quote
The Legonater Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 Bardrick went north, I think. I didn't catch where Lachterson went. I think he said they were going to group up with the other rescue team at the Duplovian camp. Speaking of which, you're absolutely right - it'll be a lot safer over there than with you guys. If you don't have anymore questions, I think we'll head out. We should get going, too. Where to next, heroes? Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I'd be up for going to the Norgh Camp. Though part of me wonders if we should escort them halfway through the southern passage way to check out this tiny cavern opening before heading to the Norgh Camp. Thoughts?" Siercon suggested. Quote
