Wedge09 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 "I think Siercon's plan is good. Let's move." Alexander leads the party towards the Norgh Camp throught the southern passage. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 21, 2014 Author Posted October 21, 2014 "I think Siercon's plan is good. Let's move." Alexander leads the party towards the Norgh Camp throught the southern passage. You're saying two different things, it's go towards the camp or walk with the miners. Here's the map again. Quote
-obelix- Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 "Let us head towards the Norgh Camp then. It should be just north of our current position, right?" Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Sorry, sorry for the misunderstanding! :-( Alexander leads the party towards the Norgh Camp. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 It's alright. The heroes waved farewell to the Delfrin miners, and went north. They found several Norghs chattering to themselves, chipping away at the rock around them. One of them notices the heroes' arrival. Who are you? You aren't miners. Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 "Yes, we aren't miners. We are a group of heroes sent in search of the people disappeared in the mines and of the mandator of these acts. Have you seen anyone?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Oh! More rescuers! Good, good. I am Shagcorkh, a chief miner here. You wish to speak to Uglrukh, our leader. He is not here, now. Not now. He found a man, a Delfrin man. A rescuer like you. He was surrounded by Wildmen, but he was not wounded by the Wildmen. The Marked Men and Uglrukh took the Delfrin man north. That is where Uglrukh is now. They are looking for the people who attacked the Delfrin man. Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 "The Marked man?" asks Alexander both to Shagcorkh and Eyric Rone "And north? Can you be more precise?" Quote

The Legonater Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 No, no - men, not man. Many Marked Men. Yes, yes, up the main mine shaft they went. I don't know what he's talking about any more than you do, Alexander. Hey, Norgh! Yes? Tell us more about these Marked Men you keep going on about. They help us. They promise us freedom from working in the mines. But first we help them. We make new tunnels for them. We help them make the great ladder. The Marked Men are very helpful, so we are helpful in return. Quote

How exactly did these marked men help you?" Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Siercon chimed in. "What is the great ladder for?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 "Freedom?I thought your people were hired to do work in the mines!? How exactly did these marked men help you?" The Masked Men believe otherwise, and what they say seems true. They say that we are only being used. They say that the peace is an unsteady one. That we will be pulled into the war if it comes back. With the Masked Men, we will have peace. They give us supplies and tools, and will give us a better life in their land. Siercon chimed in. "What is the great ladder for?" What is any ladder for? To reach higher. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 "Is there a reason for why you called them Marked?" Quote
The Legonater Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 On them they all bear a symbol. It's... I don't know how to describe it. It is a symbol of man, not of the Norghs. Quote
-obelix- Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Thalion turns towards the party, "I think our best bet at this moment is to find the leader of those marked men. So, shall we continue on then?" Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 "Yeah, almost." Siercon responds turning to the Norghs. "What is in this northwestern cavern?" Continuing to the others "Perhaps we might want to clear out this NW segment before venturing down the main shaft." Quote
The Legonater Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 I do not know, but some are said to have seen strange people coming from there. Quote
-obelix- Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 While waiting for other heroes to finish questioning the Norgh miners, Thalion digs around with his shovel. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 I do not know, I was not the one who saw them. They weren't miners, that's for sure. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 William finds another spot and digs with his shovel Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 "I say we check it out. It seems to be a cavern large enough to house it's own camp. If there is a 4th party in operation, I think we should introduce ourselves. what do you guys think?" Siercon said. Siercon prepares to head to the NW cavern. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 As the conversation wraps up, Thalion and William begin to dig. Thalion finds a Silver Ore and Williams picks up a Gold Bar. Farewell, Shagcorkh. We'll get to the bottom of this, don't worry. Goodbye, heroes! The heroes make their way out of the Norgh Camp and across to the small cavern. Inside they find what seems to be a significantly sized base. At first no one can be seen, but after a short time they hear someone yelling from within. Is that... They rush towards the heart of the base, were they find a Duplovian commander in what seems to be a prison cell. Took you all long enough. Quote
