LordDan Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 This is awesome! Very nice technique the walls( the stairlike layered thing) Do you and your brother split you legos, since you build mostly in gray and white and your brother builds mostly in tan? Quote

soccerkid6 Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 Wow, he's got some serious skills. Indeed he does, keeps me on my toes to stay ahead of him Tell your brother he is more talented then I am! Thanks Carson! He's improved dramatically over the past 6 months or so This is awesome! Very nice technique the walls( the stairlike layered thing) Do you and your brother split you legos, since you build mostly in gray and white and your brother builds mostly in tan? Thanks LordDan, the stair like things are panels stacked. Here's a tutorial on how to do it: link (at the bottom of the page). And we do split our LEGO somewhat, as we've built our collection he's mainly went with tan/dark tan while I've used bley/dark bley. But we share sometimes too, at some point we're going to each do a build with the other's main building colors... That layering technique is brilliant! Thanks frumpy, it's a fairly old technique, but looks pretty neat. Assembling it can be a bit of a pain but once it's together it's pretty sturdy Awesome! It is very good! Ofcourse he has a great teacher. He just builds so nice! Great work! Thanks Alfadas, not only does he have a good teacher he has a pretty good amount of bricks to work with now some fine buildingskills. compliments to yr brother. How old is he? Thanks! He's 12 Nice tower, good detailing on the walls and the minifigs look cool :) Thank you, glad you like the figs Quote
