Thanks Kai! The problem here was when several of the trees plummeted off the table and exploded into their individual pieces. I was in a bit of a hurry to shoot this (work's taking me out of town and away from my bricks for a while, and I wanted to get this up before I left) so when the trees vaporized, I decided it was time to stop shooting. Only when I got to post-processing did I realize a couple of the dark green slopes had removed themselves from the MOC while I was photographing it. So, I just cropped those parts off (very little is actually left out of the photo above, just a few bits of dark green) but I totally understand your point. Sorry, I know that's a long explanation for a pretty dumb mistake (but I learned my lesson, take a lot of time shooting your MOCs!!).

Ah, I see, totally get that! I'd probably stop shooting at that point too...

This is awesome, you really captured a great feel with this build! The rickety building fits perfectly with the swamp, and the dock and deck add activity to this cool scene.

the picture with the boat emerging out of the fog looks amazing and improves te scene even more :)

Looks great ME! I can see why you are so proud of this particular build, when you really start looking into the build there are so many neat little details and techniques that you've hidden in here to get the overall look perfect for a swamp outpost. Every time that I open one of your build threads I take a quick peak at your tags....still waiting to see that MOC Expert tag show up there

Aw man, this is cool! Love how run-down it feels.

The only negative thing I've got is that the water is a bit plain. Yes it's stagnant swamp water, but I feel like there ought to be stuff floating on top.

Thanks Kayne, I feel like I still have a long ways to go however!

Thanks man, that is actually one of the regrets I have of this build. The lack of vegetation, and that my snakes all fell out of the trees when I moved this MOC for photos....

Wow, great build ME! That hung up crocodile is a very cool details and it also gives some colour in the build. I especially like the first shot, good job on this one!

This is just so much the swamplands of Nocturnus as it can be! Wonderful work and world-class photography :classic:

Some really nice details, and the dark green works well for the murky water.

This looks absolutely fabulous  That roof was well worth the work it took, the layered effect with wooden supports and then the thatched roofing is stunning

Superb layout too, the two piers/docks are sweet. The trees fit the swampy atmosphere perfectly too :classic:
