M_longer Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Five years ago I have shown model of Liebherr L580 loader: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=403492 Even then I did not liked its bucket, but there were no other way to have big and light bucket that fits to scale. Some time ago I have bought bucket from 42030 set and I tried to mount it on L580: I did not succeded, because it didn't worked as I would like it to. So I decided to build new loader, that will work properly with new bucket. In five days new model came to life, a Volvo L250G Wheel Loader. Real machine: Volvo L250G Wheel Loader by Volvo CE NA, on Flickr And my model: It weights 1,6kg and it's driven by single PF L motor: Steering is achieved by single M motor and two small Linear Actuators: The bucket is raised by single L motor: And tilted by single M motor: All motors are controlled by two IR receivers, and powered by Rechargeable battery box: The cab has interior, but no opening door: Comparision to L580: Real machine uses reflective foil for improving its visibility in the dark. My model also has some reflective stripes: And here you can see how it works: MOCPages Flickr Quote
jorgeopesi Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 First again , best wheel loader for me. Quote
fasterthanlight Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Looks amazing! Where did you get the reflective tape from ? Quote
Paul B Technic Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 That is simply amazing, well done :) Quote
Rishab N Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Stunning work as always. looks spot on Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Beautiful model, very smooth operation. I love the windscreen wiper. My only minor comment would be on the rear mudguard, I would have liked a more continuous line there. But apart from that it is perfect. Quote
leksivalen Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 This is Nice... I like these MOCs with technics stuffs inside but the outside is more of a model team type of build... EXCELLENT WORK!! Quote
grum64 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Stunning build! I had to look twice to see it really is LEGO Hall of Fame? I think so. Quote
Freekysch Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 This should have been the Flagship of this year ! Congrats for an excellent MOC, just superb Quote

JDC Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Beautiful job. I would imagine, after seeing this, the guys as TLG are kicking chairs around the office like Bad Cop in the LEGO Movie. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Hall of Fame? I think so. Absolute Hall of Fame . This is a beauty . Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 It is so realistic!!! And it looks way better than the 350!Do you think, that the previous bucket (from 8043) would even fit in any model with the unimog tires? Quote
weavil Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Impresive work. Looks perfct. Like the touch with the reflective tape. Your old one looks way better with the new bucket. Quote
Dafgek81 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 In one word WOW!!!! What a great model, will defenetly be building this one in the future, along whit the Liebherr. Quote
legomuppet9 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I love it, especially I like the fact that you've not just left the cab windows open, but filled them in, it finishes off the model Quote
GoldVillage Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 This is just sick... just when you believed you had seen it all - something you cannot put words on. Quote
Kumbbl Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 i would buy instructions regardless of the price ... Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I didn't notice the topic on this model, now I did :-) This one is just amazing, very much detail and the looks are awesome! Who knows, I might want to build this one some day... Quote
M_longer Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Thanks for you comments, I am glad that you like my Volvo :) Looks amazing! Where did you get the reflective tape from ? From shop with safety wear. Do you think, that the previous bucket (from 8043) would even fit in any model with the unimog tires? I think that it will only fit wheels from 8265. In one word WOW!!!! What a great model, will defenetly be building this one in the future, along whit the Liebherr. i would buy instructions regardless of the price ... Who knows, I might want to build this one some day... So it seems that I will have to make instructions? :) Quote
