Dafgek81 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Well, I would say, buy the set, but for the parts. That is my idea, I will buy it to get the bucket, stickers, wheels and other useful (PF) parts. Quote

Dafgek81 Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Hello Marek, I realy love this loader, but undortunately I do think I can't build this before 2016 so I will have to wait for some time. I also would like te see that Caterpillar loader from the Liebherr L580 thread, so I hope you will build that in 2019, five years from now. Three awesome loaders on my shelfs would be out of this world. Quote

Dafgek81 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Hello Marek, Any update on instructions or a partslist? Would like to see how many extra or different parts I already have or will have to buy. If they are ready before my birthday in january, I could order the 42030 loader, if not, I might order something else. Parts for a other MOC I would like to build. Quote
M_longer Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 Hey did u make instructions yet No, I am in the middle of other project, which took lot of more time than I planned. Quote
JuiceStain14 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 No, I am in the middle of other project, which took lot of more time than I planned. After that are u going to make them and when u do please make a list of parts and make sure it's free Quote
Dafgek81 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Most of the time partslists are free, the instructions you will have to buy. At least that is what I think, based on the Liebherr loader instructions. Quote

Rishab N Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) Make the instructions free A lot of work goes into these instructions and LDraw instructions are high quality. Many MOCers make their instructions free but some choose not to as it take a lot of effort Edited January 6, 2015 by Rishab N Quote
M_longer Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Make the instructions free I have an advice for you: Build a large, working model, spend many (by many I think about at least 80-90 hours, yes, it could take even more time) hours on making LDraw files, steps, LPub formating, make sure that instructions does not have errors (like I am doing right now with TGS frame, which basically means building whole model from scratch with instructions). Think about all your work, all hours spend on it. Consider selling them for few dollars, as compensation for all these hours you could spend on building something new. And then publish all your work for free if you wish. Quote
