IenjoyLego89 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 There are many small farms located around Volhaal in Southern Graystar. However there are fewer that are vinyards. Had this sitting around for over a week, finally had time to take pictures and edit. As per usual C&C are gladly welcome Quote
Alfadas Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Very nice! Love the vinyards, although the farm itself is very small. Nice landscaping! Quote

Thanks Alfadas :) it's not overly big, but the idea is it's expanding so it should be at least twice as big once I get the pieces (and time) for phase 3 :) Nice vineyard! Cheers LV :) Quote
TheRedViper Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) I really like this build. Nice work . Edited October 4, 2014 by TheRedViper Quote

robuko Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Those vines look great, and the hut is a nice build. Somehow I feel the tree belongs somewhere colder, because of it's Christmas tree shape. Quote

Never noticed the tree shape I kind of just put it together haha Quote
Sir Gareth Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Lovely plant life. How are the (tomato?) plants attached to the baseplate? Quote
cablefoxley Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Nice build there, but maybe a slightly bigger building in in next time. How did u do those crops? Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 Lovely plant life. How are the (tomato?) plants attached to the baseplate? Thanks Wildspeaker :) they are grape vines. They are attached by wedging the leaf piece between any of the studs on a plate piece. However I found that some moulds are to thick to do this. Nice build there, but maybe a slightly bigger building in in next time. How did u do those crops? Thanks cablefoxley :) the building was more of a storage hut but I'll keep that in mind for phase 3 :) I hope the explanation above helps! :) Quote

I say 25% of my lead pieces couldn't be used because they were too thick. Can't wait to see what you do with your tomatoes :) Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I'd have to say my favorite part is the tree, but it's all great! Quote
Garmadon Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Nice build, I really like that tree and the foliage Excellent vineyard and hut as well, the leaves coming out of the ground work very well for grape vines I'm wondering what the soldiers are doing there though Quote
Kai NRG Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Great job here, the tree is really good and so are the vines! Thumbsup on the stone building as well! Quote

Thanks Carson Haupt :) it's probably the best tree I've made :) Nice build, I really like that tree and the foliage Excellent vineyard and hut as well, the leaves coming out of the ground work very well for grape vines I'm wondering what the soldiers are doing there though Cheers Garmadon :) I did have a reason but I had to rush to work so I skipped the story :/ might add one at some point :) Great job here, the tree is really good and so are the vines! Thumbsup on the stone building as well! Thanks Kai NRG :) need to order more leaf pieces for phase 3 Quote
Scaevola Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Nice build, I really like the roof of the little hut Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Nice build, I really like the roof of the little hut Cheers Scaevola :) that roof took me longer than expected, rebuilt it a couple of times! Quote
Hammerhand Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Cool build, I like the vines, and that tree. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Cool build, I like the vines, and that tree. Thanks Hammerhand :) Great moc and great photos!! Cheers de Gothia :) had some awkward positioning to get them right haha Quote
Gunman Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Coolio minifig face mate! The folliage is also great! Regarding CC I think if you used some small plates at the roof it would look more realistic. Quote
cesbrick Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Very, very nice little build. And with great details to! Love the roof and the vines, but as Gun said, maybe with 1x2 tiles would look a bit more realistic. Otherwise, great build! Quote
