I would like to recreate the Lego heartlake vet set with parts from my collection. Only problem is that since I need to use my tablet since it'd be easier to put it in my room vs a laptop, I need instructions that can be used without downloading them. While I did find some great looking instructions on Lego.brick instructions. And will use then if I have to, I'm hoping I could find something that runs just a little smoother.

Yes I did try eBay but no luck and while there are a bunch of results on bricklink, the problem is I just did a pretty nice trade with a BL member so I'm pretty set on a lot of stuff for the moment. While I do want to do another order down the line, the problem is that not only do I have other things I need first, but also there's nothing I need bad enough to justify the cost of an order.

And no, trying to find it second hand really isn't an option since I don't find much lego stuff at second hand stores or flea markets and the only cases of finding an actual set were a troll mountain fortress(no instructions, no trolls and missing about 3 other figures) plus the bl guy who does flea markets. And no I doubt I'd find the vet used any time soon from him since his kids love Lego friends. And no garage sales aren't an option since I'm not an early bird.

You can find a lot of instructions through Brickset.com. They would be in pdf format.

Why can your tablet not download and open a file? Most devices can handle pdf these days...

I've tried to but it doesn't work. I think its probably b/c my tablet is a $99 model my mother used b4 moving up to one in the 200 range.

Perfect! Thanks.

The brick factory instructions are working great. I am up to the "bag 2" page minus the awnings since I only can find 1 walking so I need to get more. Mostly been a color substitution build so far except for some cases.

I don't have the horse or dog so I'll be using different molded versions and no Sophie figure so I need to pull a different figure out. And I traded the 2 x 2 round tile of the scale for a 2 x 2 jumper so if I want to have an animal on the scale and on display, it won't fall off. Plus instead of the light blueish 16 x 16 plates and 8 x 16 plate, I went with 3 green 16 x 16 plates since that is what I have available. Oh, and since I don't really do the sticker thing, even if I had the right ones, I choose to do with plain tiles for the most part. And instead of the square sign post for the computer, my clinic now has a round computer screen thanks to a spare round clip sign post. And instead of the flowers being set up with the friends flowers and insects, I went with the standard 3 stalk flowers.

Its actually a pretty interesting project.

I find most of my instructions on Peeron.

This site works for viewing instructions and for downloading, though it is page limited unless you create a free account.

If the brick factory instructions are working, there is no need for this unless you check it out in the future.
