Yet this is exactly what you have done. You went along with the band wagon and voted for Duvors, then admitted that you thought I was scummier. If I am so scummy, why not vote for me? For the same reason that I cancelled my vote on Goliath. One vote on someone is a wasted vote. If you had voted to lynch me, you would have wasted your vote, just as I would have wasted my vote if I had stayed on Goliath. I decided to actually make a difference and actually try to lynch someone whom I am more suspicious of.

If you've gotten this far and are still baffled by what to do, try checking day one of past mafia schools, those hosted by people like Sandy, Hinckley, Shadows & Darkdragon,Pandora & Rick, Badboy, and, er, Bob. Also my past one. There are lots of lessons embedded, strategies from many varied players, and how they suggest going about things.

Lord Duvors seems to be talking a lot, but not saying much; that's a crime several people have committed. I think two more promising candidates are Pirate Dave and Captain Settle, both because they have contributed relatively little at all, but I think there is another reason to consider Captain Settle especially. Unvote: Goliath Vote: Lord Duvors Captain Settle has very few posts in this thread (5), and two of them (40%) are jumping onto a bandwagon without any explanation. He even gets called out on it here, and his response is this. To be honest, my vote for Lord Duvors was based mostly on him being quite annoying and snarky, like in this quote: Thank you for not specifying which part of the post you where responding to, that was really helpful. I said before that I didn't have much reason to vote Goliath, he was simply being the most annoying at the time, but Lord Duvors is being more annoying now. I feel like he's kind of slowing down our investigating, so I want to lynch him. And for several games now I've been going to the work of keeping tally of post counts... don't have to do THAT anymore! (it was EASY PEASY during the Red Menace since no one there talked, but a royal pain in the backside here at the Cosplay theater!) More importantly, since we're getting closer to the end, my solo vote on Pirate is wasted. Hmm yes it seems like captain is someone who just jumps from bandvagon to bandvagon and not contributing anything. Lord D. has many posts in this day whooping 28, almost all fluff, so that doesn´t look so good either but it can be a eager newbie. There is still time to change vote and this is day 1, so we have plenty of time to lynch scum looking fellows.

At this point, though, I'm still not entirely convinced that Goliath's just a newbie... I second this, I'm watching but haven't seen much. Look, I stated my reasons for my vote on Lord D and I stand by them. Here's what (I perceive) it comes down to: get rid of Lord D for fluff, lots of fluff or captain settle for not posting. I guess jamesn sits somewhere in there as well still. I'm happy with my vote right where it is, so unless something major changes or my vote is needed for a lynch, I will be observing for a bit.

Here is my thinking on the matter, lots of posts with fluff or very few posts with fluff both amount to the same thing....no help for the town. Could be newbie over enthusiastic or newbie not sure what to say, or scum in either case. Day 1 is a shot in the dark without much to go on. All we have is who is helpful to town and who is not. Both Lord Duvors and Captain Settle fit this. Jamesn is acting scummy but so are a few others. We need a majority for a lynch to move on from here, all votes matter and will be analyzed later. Please look at the information so far and cast a vote. Bandwagons can change fast I've seen it happen before. If your townie then defend yourself, less fluff. If your lynched and you come up town, who you voted for will matter.

A vote is important but voting just because you don't like him, and you say he wants you dead are not good reasons. Let's just say your both scum and he was using you to make him look good to town...casting your vote with your lack of reasons is a bad team player. Now if your town then you should want to help us, so give good reasons for your vote.

Between Work, family, out of work commitments and having to write very slowly on an Ipad, I haven't had much time to write long, drawn out suspicions. I'll try and be more active from now on. Honestly, a lot of the time I don't post because I feel I have nothing to add, and also because I don't have many suspicions at the moment. Everybody is doing the same thing, trying to find reasons to vote other players, but at the moment those votes are mostly based on another player disagreeing with them, or not writing enough (Which is a fair thing to do). So anyway, I mostly just wrote this to say I'll be more active, although at the minute I still have no real suspicions on who is scum.

Granted I could say reasons related to other games that make up my experience but really for this game against newbies you were very harsh. Yes this is a learning enviroment and attention to the rules and links by our host were not paid attention to by some....but really your responses were scummy. It's no wonder they suspect you and as for me, well, you haven't given a good defense of why we shouldn't think your scummy.

That's just stubborn. You all were refusing to consider that there may be a miller in the game. The facts are that someone has claimed miller, and miller is one of the possible roles. It is very likely that there is a miller, and that Mencot is that miller. That is called reasoning, as opposed to being hopelessly dense.
