LEGO just silently updated the B&P and merged it to PaB. The prices like for the new BMW Technic elements or animals have doubled!!! Really regret not buying the new wheels and shock absorbers before today.

It was announced a few weeks ago

Only in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and France. Here in Switzerland B&P is still functional and for example the new blue shock (79717) is still 7.79 CHF.

I know, they didn't roll out globally yet. But don't wait too long if you are in need of Technic parts. The rear BMW tyre costs more than 25€ now!

I actually did order some of the BMW parts from B&P in the US almost a month ago.  They still haven't shipped.  They are usually slow but not this slow.  I'm guessing the transition is causing a bunch of confusion at TLG.

I ordered 4 weeks ago and b&p to the USA says orders expect to ship out in 4-6 weeks from order date. I am impatient as well but it is still within their timing on the website.

I have been  waiting 4 weeks  as well. They ended up refunding me for a PaB order that hadn't turned up, they resent it after two months but neither have turned up another 4 months later.

I see rebrickable and new elementary listing the new hub as available in sets, has anyone seen them yet or is it still wishful thinking?

Which hub?

I'm also waiting on a B&P order since 5 weeks, still hasn't shipped.

Does anyone have a Studio part for 69633?

shock.jpg.f74ea783977b971dd0a0e0717f9302e1.jpg

I looked on @Philo's page (https://philohome.com/studio/packs.htm) and didn't find it.  It's of course not in the official Studio release yet.  Thanks!

I made the part, and it's available on LDraw parts tracker (https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/67498-f1.dat) but I've not yet created a parts pack. I was waiting for the blue spring shock absorber, not yet modeled.

Here in DK, its also merged into to the new PaB, but the old B&P still seems to work too, if you use the direct url to it.

One nice-ish thing i noticed in the new PaB, there is a power functions category now, which includes things like hubs and the PU remote (and the Mindstorms Robot Inventor hub, for a whopping 4917,44 DKR / £547.02.. a bit pricey)..

Also noticed that the 73507 "flipflop" beam, seems to have had its price adjusted a little bit, 4.85 DKR for the black one before, up to 5.06 DKR now, while the grey was 5.45 DKR before, its down to 5.06 DKR also..(i think the price adjustments were mentioned somewhere, prior to the merge, but i cant find it now), i think we can expect to see a lot of similar small adjustments in prices..but doubling the prices (or more) for some parts seems a bit much imo.

On the not so nice-ish side, its veeeeery slow..and a lot of the images simply doesnt load (gives 404 errors)..and when searching for bricks where some of the variants were sold out in B&P (for example black 32017), it simply doesnt show those combinations..unlike in B&P that shows them, but as sold out/unavailable, would have been nice to see them even if sold out..
The slowness i kinda expected here in the transition-phase i guess, but the 404 is somewhat annoying..and some of the prices must be errors or placeholders..5000DKR for that hub is insane.. :D

It doesn't. Try adding your items to your cart and it will give an error.

Works fine here, no errors..yet, altho i didnt test it all the way to complete checkout, i can add parts just as before, and proceed to the checkout/payment screen..i guess its just a matter of time before it gets shut down too... :)

Lucky you

It gives an error when I try to add my order to my cart, just before checkout. Anyway the prices were also updated on Bricks & Pieces so it doesn’t matter.

It is highly likely that the LEGO Powered UP Simply Battery Hub might be discontinued, and/or replaced in the coming months. It is currently out of stock and listed as 45% percent off, which is usually a dead giveaway for a retiring set. Perhaps this could mean that its being redesigned to fit in with the upcoming Technic sets, such as the 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter, to accommodate more motor ports and possibly a speed control dial as well. However, what this does mean is that the previous version of the Battery Box, or the one featured in the cancelled 42113 set, will now become extremely hard to buy and eventually impossible to get.

Or maybe it's only gonna be replaced with a screw version, just like the C+ hub.

While speed control dials and more ports would be really awesome, this is be my expectation too.

That's what you'd think. But this is now the second time that LEGO has pulled this battery box off the shelves. They actually did this in October, not long after the Bluetooth Control+ Hub version with screws was first revealed. I actually emailed LEGO about this myself shortly after it was pulled off the website, and they promptly responded back telling me it was discontinued. And yet, these battery boxes were reinstated about two weeks later, still without screws. Now they're being discontinued again, so who knows what's really going on.

Pneumatic parts are now more expensive too:
£10.28 for a 1/11 cylinder (used to be about £6) - so get your discounted 42128s while you can!
£7.87 for a hand pump
£3.23 for a control valve (used to be £2.28)

No sign of the 2/11, 1/5 or 2/6 cylinders.

At least a small white belt is available, albeit at £1.31!

Here's hoping they will expand the range of parts once it's working well.  We need access to more types.
I have rung them before, when a part was permanently "out of stock" so that might be needed more often.
