may be some official B-model, as there are plenty of parts (those long technic bricks on side)

I bet someone will make 6 wheels AFV 100%

Official reveal is up on Brickset! The hubs are definitely green. And yes, it has suspension!

This keeps getting better and better! This set does justice to the defender! It's a classic version, it looks beautiful and detailed, customizable, mix of technic and system, it's great scale (the wheelbase seems 13 wide and 25 long, including the axles) and it has suspension. Loving it already, adding in a drivetrain seems feasible :)

Ok the new Land Rover seems pretty cool. I especially like that it has a lot going on inside with steering & suspension so it's more than just a pretty exterior.

Does anyone know what scale it's built to? Curious if it will be the same size as the 42110 Defender?

I really like the right hand drive. Great attention to detail!

It's significantly smaller with tyre size of 62,4 whereas 42110 has tyre size of 81,6.

According to the box it's 32 cm long, which equates to about 1:12.7. The 42110 Defender is approximately 1:10 scale.

Does the bar in the part 21445/66897 fit the inside of a 1/2 pin? I don't have that part so I can't test.

That would be an illegal connection.

I'm pretty sure it would? I don't have anything like that on hand either, but I know I used to have Star Wars speeder bikes that used normal clips on that kind of attachment, which would imply that the diameter is the same as a standard bar. You'd have it under compression, though.

@Ngoc Nguyen Yes, but no.

I just tried it and as @2GodBDGlory predicted, it fits fine -- a bit of friction but not too much.

But as @Zerobricks said, the 'snaps' at the end of the plate's bar will remain in a compressed position, which for that reason makes it an illegal connection in TLG's book. Whether you care about this, is up to you of course.

Then how can I add the long system piece module to the panel?

The system piece module is a sun visor so it can only be attached horizontally in one direction to the roof. Currently I'm using modified plates with pin hole but it's more bulky than I'd like it to be.

If you don't mid a small gap between the panel and the visor, you could use 2x part 36840 and attach the studs to the panel holes.

There must be a small gap anyway. The solution you proposed doesn't seem very stable though.

Is this thing can't work?

How does this work?

Just with 1+1/2 pins?

Or is there an offset of 1/2 stud from the pin holes? Hmm it's hard to see, can you show from above?

There will be a one stud gap between the visor and the roof.

I still dont get how a thin 1x7 liftarm can be used, given that the visor is brick built.

I'm gonna get a handful of part 72008 in Black when they hit PaB in 3 months time (hopefully)!

Super useful part in my experience!

They are a perfect fit for locking the 28T differential with bevel! They come in red right now (if you don't care about color)

I created a small MOC which shows 8 ways to create half stud offsets

As a relatively new technic builder, I often struggle with perfect triangles and half stud offsets. So, I applaud your efforts. Perhaps you can find a useful application for this part. I bought a whole bunch of them but haven't found it useful... yet.

This one is actually used in the Bugatti Bolide for half stud offsetting :)

I'd like to ask about this part.

If you use both parts of the same colour, it works just fine and rotates smoothly. However if you change one of them to a different colour, there seems to be much more friction because it requires much more force to use it as a joint then.

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it supposed not to use two-tone hinge plate?
