Can you fit two pistons on one cam?

For sure, V, flat some + should be possible. Maybe friction could limit something., if there would be too much rods on it.

Use Airbus 5 blade part to build a 5 piston radial engine, for small scale airplanes... I think dimensionally the pistons would mount on the first ring of holes, and occupy the 2nd, so the outer crossaxle holes are still available for attaching exhaust parts and so on.

Cool idea! That would be fun

Yeah, I was thinking radial engine too, but just about any type of engine is possible with these new cams and cranks  (as long as you're ok with potentially adding more than one drive shaft)

So we just got pearl dark gray frictionless axle pins last year, now we get LBG frictionless axle pins as well in the upcoming BMW Speed Champion kit.

So.. now frictionless axle-pin exists in light gray and light bluish gray, yay!

Why is this such great news? We still have no recolor for 3L and axle-pins w/ friction and seems the red and yellow axles get increasingly used instead of black and lbg.

Nice to see that they're making those again! That'll be nicer than the tan ones we've had lately

Eh, I wouldn't say it's all that great, since it's not a super commonly used part, and tan wasn't even the most egregious color, but it's still nice to see!

Yeah, exactly. And speaking of eyesore colors, the gears are getting worse too. Just look at the Kawasaki's internals. Those new piston rods didn't have to be yellow either.

My comment was a bit of sarcastic one, I have tons of those old light gray ones, far more than I can ever see myself using... so having it in lbg is completely pointless for me.

Oh, ok. Didn't see the sarcasm sign. :sarcasm:

Why is this (3968) not a Technic part?

That's interesting.. wonder if it will become available in more generic colors.. And to ask it another way, why is that other themes can get such specialized parts, while technic cannot get some basic connectors that are missing from the system?..

It was confirmed way before with the new C-beam.

I'm a bit lazy, but could you please share (again) more details like dimensions of "C-beam". I understand that C-beam is this part without ball joint

Thank you
