It is used to connect the M-motor directly to the LA. It can be replaced by a brickbuild version though AFAIK.

I do own this set (I wanted it for the yellow 5x11 panels), but it is a bit of a weird set in the sense that this is biggest technic set that I know of that has only one gear...

Thanks, then I will try to build it :-)

This part interested me as its in this set and only one other interesting set, a nice 1182 pieces telescopic handler.

Looking at BL Inventory of 8264 I found you are right, just one gear and its the tiny 8 tooth *huh*. This is in deed interesting.

whats more interesting is that the A model of 8295 dosent use the LA holder, its used in the B model.

There's a half bush near one of the sprockets which confirms their whiteness. Also, why did you quote my entire post just to mention that?

Yes I know I could buy that, on Bricklink also. But this is ridiculous price for just one piece.

It is worth to check the new buildable figures from Star Wars line, they could be nice parts packs (http://brickset.com/sets/75120-1/K-2SO). :pir-wub:

Some new coloured parts are available, which can be great for MOCing, f.e.: http://brickset.com/parts/design-18654

Also this panel looks interesting, maybe for Technic supercar builds: http://brickset.com/parts/6160104

you can see the new flat silver part at 1.33 in this video:

Gnacthat's a great compilation!

Few more pieces from me:
Pneumatic T Piece New Style (T Bar) in Pear Gold (75524)

Not sure if many have discovered that new "Brick, Round 1 x 1 d. 90 Degree Elbow - No Stud - Type 2 - Axle Hole" piece, which seems to be quite useful, has already been released in Black, LBG, Yellow, Orange with Red to come.

Has the color in 42059 appeared before in Technic?

Hard to tell, looks to be same as 42050

Yep, that's Medium Azur (agh, maybe I should have really added this info)

That black axle isn't new. It's actually just an old piece they haven't made in a while

The black axle is also in 42058.
