TechnicRCRacer Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) I also ordered 2 of the red lift arm with axle hole. They are great! Edited September 2, 2017 by TechnicRCRacer Quote

He also sells a minifig-legs in trans-clear for 1000€ I still dont know how you can proof such stuff to be real lego... someone could have purchased an old molding form... and produce its own stuff like this. A really strange point on all this "not existing" stuff is, that all those shops seem to sell parts just in one special color... Edited September 4, 2017 by TechnicSummse Quote

Until now I never thought that they will be made in red (at least as pre-production samples...). About ten years ago I remembered that there was a bricklink store with black differentials and now we hqvexred ones Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 @I_Igor I have seen those differentials and almost bought one, but they are too expensive. I wonder what ever happened to those black mudguards on the toy fair GT3RS. Quote

I do not want to start any speculation because it is not time and place for it, but future supercars are announced so there is a possibility for them... I have noticed in shop that sells lot if purple parts to have 1 x 7 thin liftarm in orange - rare color for this part On 9/2/2017 at 10:38 PM, TechnicSummse said: just enter "special" in the search in his shop.... red rims... 40€ one rim lbg axles... in 6/8/10/12 studs :D Strange things there... but... are those parts really lego? I'm "that one" Yup, the purple stuff does exist allthough it's not in my hands anymore but belong to many happy buyers who paid a small fortune It's proper LEGO allright, TLG in Billund says so - good enough for you? Selling a part for 1000EUR is not crazy, However buying one is My parts have been discussed in several threads here, I suggest you look them up, Currently this one is active : Also, matthi/CornholiosBricks mentioned here several times is a 100% legit shop with rare parts. He is the man for current rare Technic parts If you think his/my parts are expensive don't start collecting HO scale, Mursten or wooden LEGO .. Cheers, Ole Edited September 5, 2017 by 1974 Quote
JGW3000 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Not sure if this has been brought up before, but for 2017 I can find only four new parts introduced in 2017 sets (not counting the plethora of old parts in new colors): 27940 - 1M beam with two cross axle connectors 27938 - worm gear 1M 28216 - bucket 7x10x5 new heavier string used in 42069 Normally we see more new parts each year, especially in the flagship sets, as in years past. This years largest sets did not have any new parts at all other than the 4 listed. Given that the Technic line has a limited number of new parts allowed each year, does this mean the designers are saving their new parts allocations for use in 2018??? Perhaps something new/big/exciting is coming. One guess is that the new Mack truck will require new parts in order to capture the curves of the cabin design. Their are also hints of another supercar coming, which also could require new parts, plus PF2 new parts as well??? Quote
Ivan_M Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Yes you are right, 2017 will indeed look empty on Technicopedia, I wouldn't even consider bucket as new, becuase only the mounting points are different, string is also worthless If you go all way back to 2007 you can find very interesting parts each year: 2007 - PF 2008 - large LA, differential 2009 - many panels, 5x7 and 5x11 frames 2010 - small rack and some minor parts, ok this year was weak 2011 - mLA, portal hubs, unimog tires 2012 - servo, L motor, helicopter blade 2013 - new wheel hubs 2014 - volvo bucket, 49,5mm tires, dog bone 2015 - pneumatics V2, new drive ring 2016 - claas tires, porsche tires 2017 - worm gear, connector and string I don't think there will be PF V2 in ~5 years. I actually think that lego prefers IR because of its poor performance outdoors. Several people from lego mentioned in interviews how customes are pain in the *** regarding support. Imagine kids taking RC models outside only to loose parts, damage elctronics or gears from dirt etc. Quote

My guess is the parts budget has simply been used to add two new colors to the Technic line. There's about 20 new recolors just in dark purple and dark azure. Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 @LvdH Here you go! Not much of a difference! Rust at top, Red at bottom. Rust is veeeeery slightly darker, hard to notice. Quote

Aventador2004 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Also why they don't do licencing often. It makes special parts specific to set. Quote
