Thanks for help It has to be 3 studs wide, but small liftarms 1 x 3 using axle 2 and 2 thin bushes is not stuff enough... Edited December 27, 2019 by I_Igor Quote
Void_S Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 About new 42108's Differential part. Sariel's review with the new diff "stress test" when it opens (disengage the diff<->red gear combination) under heavy load when not secured enough inside the frame, makes the idea of using axles with stops ("stops" inside the diff - I remember these was an idea) very hard to be implemented. It's clear that it can't be done when the diff is inside the frame, so it must be super-embraced if the axles with stops are planed for use... Don't really like the idea to have the "heavy-duty-ready" thing made of two parts but it still fits the TLG idea (I still believe that's some plan here on that) to make the constriction self-disengageble rather than parts-damaging when something goes wrong. Maaboo the Witch Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Does anyone else here think that we need this part in white? I mean, like right now? Quote

Not a bad idea, but if there will be a Liebherr mining dump truck it could be white and gray, but excavator that is influenced by Terex could have it (it is his could have any connections to upcoming backhoe which is still in domain of speculation; at least until Nuremberg you fair...) Use those bracket pieces with a tile The bracket piece has a minifig torso hole and a stud and comes in two variants, one has thicker walls. There also one with a pin instead of a stud. SNIPE Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 (edited) The half gap space in the 28 tooth idler gear can be useful: if you put a wheel with an axle hole and with tire inside of it it could act as a 28 tooth overload clutch gear too Edited February 11, 2020 by SNIPE Quote
