mpj Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 It is a very nice addition in my opinion. You are no more limited to 7 or 11 L curved panels Quote
Jurss Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Yes, and genrally it is more like panel extender, and then just also liftarm. Quote

WHY!!!!!! and it has an axle hole which is not as bad but still!!. My thoughts too. I can see its usefulness as a panel extender but we're also in need of more L-shaped liftarms beside the current 2x4 and 3x5 (and if you count thin ones, 3x3) and the support destroys its usefulness in many structural applications. 3x4 would've been even better but still... Jurss Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 But this way this part is more usable, as it is made. Quote

SNIPE Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 it still has uses as a structural or mechanical element but its usefulness is reduced because you cant put more beams for example where the support band is like you can with a 3x3 T liftarm. Quote
msk6003 Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Looks like 10280 flower set include lot of green transmission 3L extender and green 32L axle. Quote

I don't have that part, but I have occasionally used the studded version in tight spaces in bodywork, and sometimes I suppose that pinned one would be better. Quote

TechnicRCRacer Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 In the 2021 X-Wing set there is a new 1x1 Technic brick with axle hole instead of a pin hole. It appears in Light Bluish Gray. Quote

I'm wondering about the quoted parts, are those really light turquoise as in Medium Bluish Green in TLG colour names? That colour hasn't appeared since 2003 at all according to Ryan Howerter's colour guide so I'm just making sure before I create a new colour entry. Quote
